We enjoyed this campground. There are some trees that provide shade, which is very helpful on hot days, and it is close to the Badlands National Park. The best part is the KOA staff - they are simply wonderful!

Very nice campground, hosts were very friendly and drove me to my site. They took the time to give me the layout and point out the main roads in the badlands.

Camp site was ok, a bit dusty but that’s probably a function of weather conditions. Facilities were clean, thanks for that!

Location can't be beat BUT the shower room needs a good cleaning--looks like it hasn't been cleaned all summer! We stayed at 5 KOAs in 2 weeks. This is the only one that had hot water which is a plus! Actually had toilet paper clinging to the top ledge of the shower that had been there for ages. We saw someone sweeping the office steps but the outside area of the shower rooms hadn't been swept.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Everyone we encountered were so incredibly kind and very helpful, especially when our car battery died the day we were leaving!

Very nice campground--much nicer than the state park campground. KOA had shade which in the 98 degree weather was very welcome. Clean and well maintained campground. Everything was very good-the only negative comment is that the showers could use updating. Toilets and sinks were very nice and clean. Staff very nice too!

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed the experience. However two improvements have been made that enhanced the experience. The new owners and work campers are so pleasant. Great atmosphere. Also the WiFi is excellent allowing us to stream our home football game. Thanks!!

A nice quiet campground close to the Badlands National Park. Spacious campsites and with 3 shower houses/bathrooms, every spot is close to the restrooms.

Would be five stars except for the highway noise. Beautiful bathrooms and showers and all very well maintained.

It was clean and quiet. Only complaint would be the directions take you off I90, requiring you to go through the National Park. Please put that on your reservations. We almost had to pay to get in, but they believed we had a pass in the camper. Guess we had honest faces. If we had known we had to enter the park, we would have had the pass in the truck. Will stay again.

Great place to stay to tour the Badlands. Clean but busy while we were there. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Didn't have an evening meal. Would go back again though!

The attitude of the staff was horrible I was told the best rate available was $46.75 after 10% discount But, if if I could book online for less, The $10 Rewards I wanted to redeem would be taken off the online price I booked online for $42.93 after discount they took $42.93 off their $46.75 & took $3.82 0tt my $10 reward & gave me $6.18 credit My $42.93 stay cost $46.75 due to bait n swi

I was told there were no standard full hook up sites and was pushed into a 92 dollar a night "premium" site. When i got there i saw any number of sites that were full hook up vacant. I have stayed here before and have had a good experience. This is the second time this has happened at a KOA this year. The other was at the finger lakes in NY. The woman in the office needed an attitute adjustment.

We are so sorry to hear of your experience with the reservation call center. I have looked at your reservation, I adjusted the $85.00 that your paid for site 141, to the price of a full hook up site, if one had been available last night, $75.00 and issued you a credit for the difference.

I have to RAVE about the WIFI and Cell service! This KOA is in the middle of the South Dakota Badlands, and is THE best of any campground we have been to. We have been out since Memorial Day, and our stay was after Labor day. We didn’t use the amenities like the Pool or bathrooms. We have a Girard Tankless Water heater, so we can take real showers. Over all, this is a good campground,

Stayed for 2 nights to visits the Badlands National Park. Also was able to work using Wi-Fi and/or Verizon hotspot. Quiet location with great sunsets!

Staff was friendly. Very clean restrooms. Everything online said the pool would be open through 9/30 but it was closed and looked as if it had been closed for several weeks. We have two small boys and The pool was one of the main reasons we booked it.

Badlands KOA is an excellent choice for a basecamp to use for exploring the Badlands. There is a lot to do in the area and the staff is wonderful

This KOA had the friendliest and most helpful staff and made our stay very comfortable. The camp was well organized and they had options for limited breakfast which was a huge plus in a remote area like the Badlands. I would have given the camp 5 stars, but the bathroom/showers were not as clean as several other campgrounds that I have stayed at. Otherwise, one of the nicest KOAs I've visited.

I absolutely loved this nice little park. We didn't use the amenities because we came to visit the Badlands. We spent several days sightseeing the park and it was very much worth the time and money to stay here. Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming! Grant it, I'm writing this review a year later, but it's still fresh in my memory! Thank you for such a wonderful site and a great vacation spot!

Wow! We arrived late and so happy to find a beautiful site. Very clean, quiet campground. Highly recommend if visiting the Badlands area. We spent 3 days and it was a great experience. Highly recommend the breakfast pancakes!

3.5 stars - CABIN A/C UNIT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. It was a very hot outside (99) but for the price of cabins, the property owner(s) needs to invest in adequate units that are larger and work for weather extremes or store industrial fans for open window air movement. Getting up every two hours, to kick start an a/c unit, after being on the road for twelve hours, is NOT fun. :( The employees/management are very nice and the property is kept very clean. Bath-house (near) cabins was sparkling clean, which is always a big plus.
