Had an enjoyable stay, check in was easy, staff were friendly, had a bison burger and onion rings at the cook camp and it was good. The dog park was nice, the play area had lots of room and activities, and a small pool and cute area to 'mine' gems. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner as there were hairballs in the ladies showers but otherwise we would stay there again and recommend it.

Nice campground with lots of amenities four miles from nearest small town. On the White River in the Badlands. Clean and level large pull through sites.

We had a really great experience tent camping at this KOA. Loved the camp kitchen cleanup area and access to drinking water next to campsite. That made things so much easier. My dog says not to forget to mention the dog park haha. The only thing I wish was different was the number of bathrooms in the tent section of the campground. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience.

Right off the top the staff is wonderful. That are friendly and helpful which is a plus. The reasons for the less than perfect review are minor but noticeable. Being in an area with no on-air tv reception and no cable is a feature that would be nice but due to the campground’s location is understandable. Also the pool is a little small. The bathroom was pretty disgusting. The shower curtains haven’t been changed in maybe years, they were falling apart. I also registered for a grass site, but it was basically gravel because the grass was all dead. Unlike many of the other KOAs I’ve been to this one just didn’t feel cared for

For a KOA Holiday, I would expect a little better maintenance. Weeds in the site and on the pads. The miniature golf hasn't been taken care of in years. Price yourself accordingly or spend money to maintain if you want to be a KOA Holiday.

We stayed one night on our way through this beautiful state. The staff were super friendly and helpful! There were plenty amenities for families and children. The showers were decent and our campsite was clean. The only issue we had were neighboring campers who didn't follow the quiet time rule. I'm sure that's common though. We would stop here again if traveling through! Thanks!

It was all wonderful except the showers could be better for the price of the camp. They were just adequate. Having said that, the office staff were wonderful, very pleasant and welcoming. It was a pleasant stay, despite the rain ��

It was my first stay at a KOA. I loved staying in the yurt. What a unique experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The camp was quiet and peaceful at night.

For a Holiday KOA it didn’t have much. The mini golf needed new turf, the balls in the games area were all mostly flat, the little bikes/cars were in rough shape. Our site was nice and flat and the staff was very nice.

We enjoyed the campsite, 105, sunny and an easy back in. We had dogs with us and the dog park was so helpful to have and so close to our site, too! The bathroom opposite the dog park seemed outdated and didn’t feel like it was as clean as it should’ve been.

Very nice campsite, well maintained campground. Staff very friendly! If you are visiting the Badlands National Park it is a great place to stay. There is a pool, mini golf, playground and multi-purpose area that was great for the kids.

In fairness, it was unbelievably hot and the whole area is covered with house flies. The people were extremely nice and helpful when want to change dates and the pool is nice.

We loved our stay there! Plenty of space between the spaces, very nice activities - mini golf, basketball court, pool, corn hole, etc. Big, fenced dog park with a dog wash next to it! Staff very friendly. Very conveniently located near the Badlands Loop road. We would definitely stay there again.

We love this Kampground! Sadly, our stay this year didn’t allow us to partake in the amenities the park has to offer, but this is the one Kampground we return to. The sky in the Badlands is incredible after dark, so don’t forget to go take silhouetted night-shot photos. It is pretty far from most other destinations, but we think it’s worth the drive.

Staff was very nice and accommodating but the trash containers were overflowing, the laundry room really needed to be cleaned and the miniature golf should be repaired or done away with, all the carpet was torn or missing. Very disappointing to my grandson and me. It’s a beautiful location, just needs a little work.

Even with the discount, this KOA was a pricey for what it was. It was a typical campground without much fine repair and maintenance. Roads were in decent shape, sites were typical, close together and not that inviting. Water was way over treated. We purchased water from the local cowboy store to drink and make coffee. Workampers need more training in customer service. I am a former KOA owner

We rented a basic camping cabin for 2 nights. Only issue the mattresses on the beds could be a bit thicker, otherwise the campfire ring and porch swing were great, water tap right by our cabin. Store had nice selection. Wings were very good and kids liked the Hunt Bros pizza.

Great location right by the badlands. Also right alongside the river. We were just passing through for the night. They serve pizza in the store. Nice little store. Spacious sites.
