Beautiful campground with lakes and wildlife. Staff are very responsive with their text messages. Friendly lady hosting the arts and crafts events which my toddler very much enjoyed. Festive decorations for the holidays. Efficient propone service. Aside from the initial pricing mix up, this is one of the best KOA campgrounds we've stayed.

Just stayed one night for a layover. Everything was great. The price was very good compared to other KOAs. Nice store, friendly staff, and easy to fill propane. Just wish I had more time to fish the two lakes.

Very nice people and location. We were so happy at first. It was such a great spot...hardly anyone there....and then they stuck another camper right next to us..blocking the pretty view. ....there were at least 7 other spots on the other side or across from us. I'm not sure why we got a 30 amp spot...It was 28 degrees and we ended up blowing the breaker trying to keep the camper warm.

We had a great stay! This is our 2nd stay at a KOA. The first one really set the bar high, as they have it in their arrival process to assist guests in backing up. This koa did not do that. Not sure if that’s normal. Also, my husband said the me s restroom by the main office never had soap. Otherwise we had an incredible stay and will be back!

Third time staying here, the place is beautiful, the staff is friendly and professional. If you need to be away from the busy city noise, then this is your KOA. Plenty of walking space and nature. The RV sites and hook up are top notch. I've also noticed a great improvement on their camp's WiFi service.

For the most part we enjoyed our stay. Loved the communication via text from the office to keep us updated as needed. Your store was nice but pricey. Bathhouse: Don’t care for a unisex shower! The 1st one I went in only dripped. The 2nd had no curtain and I couldn’t adjust the shower head. Water beat me in the neck and got my hair wet when I wasn’t wanting it wet. Staff is great.

With the weather getting colder, I didn’t get enough time to walk around the park. Everything was spotless clean.

Great facility, excellent staff. Lots of activities and amenities. The only suggestion would be add an onsite Cafe or diner. But great just the way it is

Great place to camp. Only problem we had was not able to keep rented golf over night. Would have been nice to get charger and charge at my site.

We had a great time. The park was nice. The campground was spacious we didn’t feel like we were camping on top of another camper. There was plenty of places to walk our dogs.

Love staying at the Asheville East KOA! The staff is super friendly and the week was full of activities for families this Thanksgiving holiday.

This was our very first time staying at a KOA. We were impressed with Asheville East KOA and the proximity to local attractions. There were lots of activities for the family from games to renting bikes. All the facilities were super clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved how our site had chairs around the stone fire pit. We can’t wait to stay again.

The campground was nice, but paid for a back in spot on the lake and they put us up against the empty part of the lake. If the lake is dried up don’t advertise it as a lake spot.

Enjoyed the attentive and friendly staff, the well-kept grounds and overall good condition of the place. Met several nice neighbors and also was happy to have a little more space between spots than other KOA's we've visited. It was nice and close to Asheville and Black Mountain, close to the highway but not too close, plus really nice lake area. Thanks, we'll be back!

Lots of family activities during Halloween. We like a little more peace and quiet at campsites. Just our preference. Nice campground!

The great weekend activities for the whole family have definitely hired some new stuff that is super friendly. The only real downside of this point is the fact that the rates keep going up and it's getting to be not affordable for regular people

We stayed here to spend time in Asheville area. This is THE best campground WiFi we have ever experienced. Repeaters throughout the campground. Makes it easier for kids devices or streaming something in a rainy evening. Lakes and stream give campground a outdoor feel. Bathhouse water pressure and hot water were excellent. Nothing negative to say. Area was under a burn ban so no campfires a bummer

Really nice campground. Clean and well maintained. The only thing I would recommend is that when a guest asks for some ideas of things to do in the area, that your staff not respond with”I have no idea”. People come there from out of town and will sometimes need some input on places to eat, things to do and how to get there. That interaction was not what we expected.

This is a beautiful campground. We enjoyed a site along the river. We were able to walk around the lakes with our dog, and the dog park was great for a little playtime off leash. I appreciate the text messages I received from the campground staff welcoming us and keeping us updated about things happening while we were staying. This is definitely place we will return to in the future!

They were super awesome and helped us switch campsites due to not having sewer and me not knowing honey bucket service had to be prescheduled. We are already planning our return trip.

Road noise, train noise, and helicopter noise was constant. I walked further into the campground the noise was still bad. Beautiful area but tough to sleep.
