Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Jill welcomed us and took care of our reservation. The campground has been through a lot, but they are doing an outstanding job bringing it back. Definitely recommend staying at this campground! We will be back very soon.

Only stayed two nights but the campground was well maintained, especially considering what they went through with the hurricane. The staff were friendly and they even offered curbside trash pick up. Very nice, would stay again.

The campground is very clean and well kept! We were just staying overnight on our way further south, but we both said we would definitely come back and stay for longer!!

Site b28 was very private with a lot of space to roam. It was one of our top 10 sites in all of our travels.

Easy after hours check in. Very nice site we had. Everything very neat and organized. Loved the river across the road.

We had a very relaxing weekend. Still hard to see all the damage done by the storm but very pleased at the work being done to get everything back to normal. Great staff also.

Clean with Lo s of lush surrounding acres. Nice dog park, lots of kid pedal cars, clean portable showers instead with f block bath house (safer). I was pleased will return

The campground is looking great. Cannot wait for the other side to be completed and see how it looks. Only thing is that the cable is not hooked up for the campsites yet. No worries. Understandable about how far they have came.

The staff were friendly, helpful and the open sites were excellent. The campground is still recovering from Hurricane Helene yet is centrally located to visit all the sites in western nc. A great place to base camp your Asheville and Black Mountain adventures!

Always love it here. Great location for seeing the area. Working hard on getting back from the hurricane damage, building back better with beautiful new patio pull thru sites. And finally the staff is professional, friendly and ready to help make your stay a great one.

Very happy to see them back online after Helene’s destruction of the area. The rates are lower, probably because the amenities aren’t entirely back. Only the front part of the campground is open, and three bathrooms (in a trailer) aren’t really enough to service even those number of campers. Looking forward to a full re-opening. I’ll be back.

We stayed in a pull through site with a patio. First, the gravel pad was perfectly level allowing a very easy set up. Our site had a concrete and paver patio with a built in BBQ and fire pit. It even had a mounded area that had shrubs and flowers. Everything felt first class and very new. This is the first RV park with Wifi that worked and it worked very well. Thanks for a great stay!

The campground is still recovering from Helene but we really enjoyed the stay. Really helpful and friendly staff onsite.

"OK" camp sites at a reasonable price, but certainly not anything special. It had a kids bouncy dome and a small playground, but don't understand how it's called a Holiday campground. I didn't even see a pool (could have missed it???). Close to east side of Asheville with easy access via I-40. The young lady at the desk was very nice to work with.

The park looked great! They have worked so hard to make it a nice place to camp again. We have always enjoyed staying there. We were very disappointed that we could not fish or tube down the river but we appreciate The county keeping us safe instead of making it just fun. Of course the people are always nice. I can say I look forward to having a nice bathhouse again.

This KOA has done an excellent job with recovery from the flood. We enjoyed our stay. Was excellent location to all the attractions. Easy to get to. Hope to return soon!

It was nice to have the small number of people there. Loved the new sites. Wish the swimming pool had been open. Kids was looking forward to it. Staff was very friendly and easy to get along with. Thank you. Already made next year dates.

The restoration of this campground is totally amazing considering the amount of devastation that occurred. As always the staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The campsites are level and spacious. We were so excited to return and look forward to returning soon.

Still recovering from the flood from a couple of years ago. Showers are portable very small.so far work that has been done is nice. People are very nice and helpful. Would stay again..

I've stayed here my entire life, well before it was koa and I've always enjoyed it. This trip was no different, i enjoyed it, however I'm looking fwd to you opening the other side. The ponds were a huge part of the beauty of the park. I also hope that the store will be much bigger in time. I truly understand the damage that was sustained during Helene, i just wanted to express my thoughts.

We weren't in the campsite much (visiting children) but all was nice. We are in a river front pull through site - #28 I believe. We were further away from the water than I thought we would be. Not much of a view. However, it was an easy walk to the river. I know you guys are still recovering from Helene. The brush on the river banks could be cleaned up. The sure we had could use some leveling.

Excellent facilities and a very friendly staff. Only issue I had at site 29 was the sewer connection was higher than my black tank valve. I had to "walk" the fluids to the sewer. The pad probably needs to be about 4" higher. Still, after all y'all have been through in the last year, my issue is trivial. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll be back soon.

The sites were very nice with plenty of space. The bathrooms need to get built as what they have now isn't pleasant at all. The pool was closed, no weekend activities. Doesn't seem like much is going on to get more things built there yet. Me and husband went to see how things were doing there as this was one of our families favorite places to go. But will wait to go back until things get done.

Great stay. Miss the old campground but thrilled to see the new one take form. I noticed that the new sewer pipes have a larger diameter than the old ones and I had to use a rubber adapter to make a seal.Maybe you can tell me the actual diameter so I can find a fitting for it. Thanx. See you soon. Staff was awesome!

Great staff. Spacious sites Part of area is no shade as it was wiped out during the flood. Stream front sites.

Perfect spot for a campground. Rebuilding nicely after Helene. The staff we met and spoke with throughout the stay were super nice and helpful. I will definitely be returning to this campground.

So happy to see Asheville coming back! The KOA East was clean and accessible. The staff were all super kind! Shout out to Andy and Lisa! New shower/bathrooms were great! Laundry room was clean and great folding areas! Look forward to our next visit!
