Enjoyed our stay as usual. However, we were there a total of six weeks and the same washers and dryer were out of order the whole time. I believe they were the same ones that were out of order back in April as well as last November. I think they need to be replaced.

WE had no issue with our stay but I feel the price was higher than it needed to be. We have camped at non-KOAs where the facilities were nicer and paid $49.00/night. I don’t see why this campground is charging $65.00/night. KOA is getting too expensive for people who are traveling.

We love the ease of staying here. There should be more KOA campgrounds and more camping cabins!

Only one night and we did get a good site near one of the lakes. However, I would like to make some observations. The sites near the office are WAY too close together. Campgrounds need to get away from packing as many as they can into an area. We are choosing campgrounds that have some breathing room between sites

We found the staff members to be friendly. The facilities were very clean. Overall a pleasant stay, close to lots of attractions.

Very clean campground, laundry room, even though the dryers were in an outdoor area (porch like). The attendants were so nice and helpful. Pretty campground with the lakes. Up front, was noisy from the highway and train.

We spent 3 days and the stay was wonderful. The only complaint is exiting the grounds onto Hwy. 70 is dangerous. Cars come flying around the curve. The curb in the driveway must be taken slowly, which makes you a slow moving target. Remove the curb and widen the exit. The narrow exit on a right turn makes it hard to turn into the curb lane.

We were camping with friends and when we discovered our campsites were not very close together like we thought we asked if they could move us to be closer together and they were very accommodating. The facilities were very clean and great Halloween decorations.

Only negative we had about our stay was the bed in the deluxe cabin. The mattress was pretty uncomfortable or maybe just old and needs to be replaced. Otherwise we had a great experience and would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Asheville East KOA! I've already recommended the location to friends and we will be back. The campground is beautiful - well maintained - and staff friendly and attentive.

Been staying here for 20 years as the central camp for our Fall Annual Ural sidecar rig rally. Camping has gotten pretty costly for us seniors on fixed incomes but we do have a good time.

Great scenery at site A4. Only disappointment was the bathrooms by office - they were clean but needed some updating. And perhaps a larger number of toilets and shower stalls.

Campground is beautiful and well maintained. KOA has the best staff. They keep you engaged with activities if you like. Very helpful and courteous. Look forward to many more visits here.

It was a great place to stay, only problem was not much light in cabin. We had a great visit there and my son came meet us and grandkids had a blast

Great spot. Views are spectacular. But, I felt like I got price gouged. From the $9 for 6 small pieces of wood to charging me an extra $60 a night because I put a tent in the back of my truck. Never had anyone do that but KOA all about the up charge.

Love this place. Clean, friendly, and scenic. the only thing I do not like about this campground is the fire pits. You cannot see the fire and they provide little warmth. I guess if you don't really want campers to have a fire. then these work, otherwise they are totally useless.

Beautiful park. Loved the river and lake! Everything was very clean. Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY! The store was well stocked and even had cute shirts and hats. Everything was perfect. Easy to get on and off the highway. We loved it and will be back again. And again the staff... they were AWESOME!!!!

We always enjoy KOA East Asheville.......Centrally located.....nice folks that manage it and lovely grounds for walking. Bathrooms at any campground are really used, and it is hard to keep them spic and span, but KOA East does a good job.....the bathrooms could always use a little TLC.

Fantastic KOA located minutes from downtown Asheville and even closer to the awesome town of Black Mountain. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Loved the grounds.

Very clean. Somewhat crowded but it is the fall in the mountains so its to be expected. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed the planned activities for the kids .
