I rated 9/4 as I think there is always room for improvements. I am very impressed with the new managers, Dan and Lisa Radatz. She always has a smile on her face & super helpful. Their communications w/seasonals has been wonderful. We stores our trailer over the winter & really appreciated updates after major storms as we live hour away. Looking forward to another year at Angola.

This is a venue that has something for everyone! There are many exciting and forward looking changes taking place. Give it a try and you'll want to come back again and again!

Lazy River, Pool, Lake with inflatables and rentals. Themed weekends, activities, crafts, and even an amazing July Fireworks show. Thanks for being a great camper!

The new owners have cleaned up and fixed alot over the winter. They moved the front desk back to the window so they can see cars at the gate to be let in, put back a change machine in the laundry room, added an ATM in the store. They have opened the rec room back up and have it open for 24 hours a day so we can play pool and other games in there. They are in the process of updating the internet.

New poles are being installed the end of April, with main wifi upgrades in May.

Nice sites, nice amenities. All weren’t open right now but we walked around and looked at everything, this looks like a really fantastic place to spend time with nature and family then you have the activities with the park for more entertainment

Hogback Lake has never disappointed us. I am great full for the help for my wife to fill our lp tanks, on Friday while I was at work.

We are seasonal campers who also use KOA for winter storage. Daniel and Lisa's communication throughout the winter, especially with the storm activity we've had, has been excellent. In addition, they've already made great upgrades to the campground in their short time and have several others planned. Looking forward to a great summer!!

Very excited about the upcoming season. New management is attentive and welcoming to EVERYONE. Lots of upgrades with more on the way. Communication from management is going above and beyond and is so appreciated!Would love to see the pool open at 9 a.m. this season like it did when it first opened.Nice way to start the day with some exercise.To anyone with a bad experience in the past try it again

Less than exemplary. I was a late check-in, and when I arrived, after having driven 11 hours, there was another RV in my spot. I called the emergency number and the manager said he would be right over to straighten it out. He called back 8 minutes later and said he would be at least 5 minutes, and would meet me at the front entrance. I got bumped to a spot with no water. Dissappointing.

The overnight sites are all gravel sites that have very little gravel. The overnight sites are over priced for what you get. I payed $81.73 in March for a muddy site that I had to back into on my blind side.

With days of rain many of our sites were indeed wet. Please travel safe and consider advanced reservations to ensure the highest quality site.

Due to weather, campground was very muddy. Sites are too narrow to comfortably drive into and should be properly paved as this is quite expensive compared to many quality campgrounds. We will not recommend this place to anyone.

Very clean and organized. Thankful to find a campground open all year round. Hosts were very friendly, accommodating and honest about the water being unavailable for a few hours before they took our payment. Would definitely come back when in the area.

No water for a couple days due to stuff out of their control they kept us well informed on the situation. Grounds were well maintained as they getting ready for season to kick off. Lousy internet but they are in the progress of upgrading. This is my third visit here and will be back again.

The site we had with patio was great. We was saddened cause the furniture and patio was so great but it was way to cold the day to enjoy it.... the site was great hope to make it back there to enjoy it in warmer weather.. ... we have little o say about the staff as we was check out Told my wie it wa like they was tied of dealing with people. Not very freindly

Everything was fine except the restrooms were very far away from our campsite and not easy to find in the dark.

We appreciate your feedback, during the winter months our central bath house is illuminated and marked on your arrival map. We understand it is not adjacent to the winter campsites that are heated and open year round. If you wish to be placed closer to the bath house in the future just let us know.

We arrived at Hogback as a stopover travelling back to Canada. They had just experienced freezing rain, snow, and flooding with downed trees and branches. The manager went above and beyond to get us into a site so that we could prepare for the next days travel. Thanks you.

A good place to stop except expensive (compared to other KOAs), internet didn’t reach my full-service site & the washrooms we’re closed (Feb).

We appreciate your review, our central bathhouse is open 24 hours a day, restrooms, showers, and laundry. The only time it ever closes is during daily cleaning. Please travel safe!

All of the staff was great, my problem is the well water- I hate the smell and will not wash clothes, my hair or my dog in it. It turned our sink and toilet yellow. Wifi terrible also. But park is grand.

Very easy to locate, enter, set up and stay for a quick overnight stop while travelling I 69. Enjoyed the walk around the park, past the lake. Very clean and well maintained. Also a Loves at the I 69 exit.

We had a wonderful time at Hag Lake. BUT we were cheated out of the campground fee of $25 in April and in September. It was added to our reservation and was not told they were doing that. When we made the reservation we are reserving our spot. There is no need to add more charges. Will never return to this campground. Don and Ann Johnson

We appreciate your feedback. In October we did reduce our site lock fee down to $20 in order to better serve our campers. The fee is listed online and on your confirmation email. It guarantees the system does not move you during its optimization of reservations. Travel safe.

We loved our stay here at Hogback Lake! We stayed on the lake side and the views were absolutely beautiful. The campground was very clean, and there was lots to do. The staff was also very kind when we arrived for check-in. It was a much needed peaceful get away..we cant wait to come back!

Our stay was fine. Given how vacant the park was on a snowy weekend, I was disappointed with the site given us. It was a pullthough, but on each side of the entry were two large rocks. With trees behind, I opted to drive around and back in to the site. Tree at front right of site encroach over the pad. Wasn't awful, just not as seamless as it could have and should have been.

Loud and people next to us had 2 dogs barking and not on leashes. Strobe light was obnoxious and lit up my camper all night. I would not stay again.

If you want decent WI-FI, do not stay here!! We have stayed at many KOA’s across the nation, and this is by far the worst for WI-FI! It would work for about a minute, then not work for 10 minutes. Very frustrating!

Bathrooms were not great, but got there in the evening so after a long day, we were happy to have a place to rest. Tent camping meant cars driving into and out of facility shined light into tent often but the lazy river and pool were lots of fun (small but my teen and I had fun). BYO pool rings!!! Vegan restaurant in town was excellent

Very friendly people and a store with all kinds of unique items! The park is clean with many things to do for all ages. This is a large park! The lake is awesome!! The cabin was great! The bed mattress was perfect for a great night sleep. We loved our visit and plan to return in a few months to enjoy summer time activities!

Campground is very Clean, Nice & quiet! Love the little pond behind our RV you see the coy & other fish swimming. Only downside is the hard water just change your filters more often.
