Every winter, thousands of visitors flock to Pokagon State Park to experience Northern Indiana's only refrigerated Toboggan Run. The slide got its start back in 1935 and was improved and extended until it became the thrill ride you can experience today. After ascending the 30-foot tower and climbing aboard, you will encounter a few dips and valleys, as well as a 90-foot vertical drop. Some riders have reached over 40 miles per hour as they race down the quarter-mile course. While the ride only lasts about 30 seconds, it's a frigid thrill you won't soon forget.
