I will not ever stay in this KOA again. My small children, bf and I froze to death our first night there. It felt like we had the windows open and door. We had to get up in the middle of the night and use all of our clothes and towels to cover up that cabin as much as we could. Next day we went off and bought a extra heater and blankets just to stay warm the rest of our stay. You guys need improve

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We wish this was brought to our attention if help & assistance was needed. After this comment cabins were checked with approval of working heat. Our team could have helped review any control or provided additional heaters which are available at the campground. Never should guest be uncomfortable.

We were in Albuquerque at a very busy season... The Annual Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and felt fortunate that this KOA had a space for us, even though the price was more than what we're used to. But we were celebrating a family event so it was worth every $$. This KOA is in a great location and the facilities are very clean. The only negative issue is the highway noise. Highly recommend!

Staff was extremely nice and helpful even though we got there right before the office closed for the night! All the RV spots were very clean and the staff picked up trash bags for you all you had to do was leave them at the end of of your driveway. Overall a great experience and would not hesitate to stay here again!!! 5 stars

KOA has always been a safe and well managed camping place including the Albuquerque site. It’s quiet and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Been going there for yrs. Been to KOA all around the country. This one is my favorite. Love the people but msyb 2 heaters needed whem its cold. Lol

Site 130 was perfect. The small dog run attached to the site was very convenient for us to give our dogs some freedom while we were taking the set up and take down of the RV. The only issue we was that someone swiped the back of our camper with what I’m assuming was a truck mirror, in the wee hours of the morning. Of course no one stopped to own up to it but whoever it is, has a broken mirror.

Absolutely the best KOA!!! Staff is incredibly helpful…sites are paved and trees don’t get in your way. A really great experience!!!

We stayed there for the long Thanksgiving weekend, 11/23-11/26 and the facility was clean and quiet. The dog areas were very nice and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

We came for a family event. Thanksgiving celebration was warm and inviting. Close to a lot of things that we wanted to see and do. Excellent customer service, plenty of places to walk the dogs. Very clean, helpful and made our first KOA experience making us want to travel and stay in KOAs in the future

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. It's close to RV parts and supplies. Also easy to freeway access.

It is a great place to stay, specially if you have pets. Very friendly people and staff. Near to entertainment areas. Bathrooms needs to really be taken care more often.

First time staying in a RV site. I usually stay in one of the cabins. Nice level and spaces site. Restrooms clean just like always. Very nice KOA great place to stay.

As soon as I pulled in my neighbors dog (pitifully. I think) ran over and jumped up on me. He was running loose, I had to tell the owner I didn't feel comfortable with it. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Was good. However we had no hot water for showers. They said the water heater probably used all the hot water so it’s still filling. Waited 30 minutes and still cold waited til morning and still cold. This was for both men and woman showers

They have a friendly, helpful staff and the cabin I stayed in was very comfortable! I would happily stay again at the Albuquerque KOA!

A classic KOA Journey. Easy on and off I 40. Dog parks were very nice. There seemed to be way too many unused RV's and boats being stored in the campground which gives it sort of a dumpy feeling. It would seem this could be remedied by hiding the storage area with a stockade type fence. Although, in the City the campground did feel secure.

This park has ambiance! Loved the trees, amenities and friendly folks. Upgrades if you'd like your pet to have thier own little relief pen. Plenty to do in the area. Sites are level, excellent hookups and spacious enough for our truck & 43' 5th wheel.

We had to ask to be lead to our lot. Our view was a small trailer that looked like it should be put out of its misery. It was way over priced. It was the highest priced KOA we have stayed at and the worst.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin. We checked in late. They have a security gate where you punch in a code to get in. The security gate is only closed during the night & you can go in and out. The man who gave us the key to the cabin also escorted us to the cabin as well. We are traveling with our dog. The cabin had everything we needed. They even had dog dishes and an individual snack bag for dogs. They have 2 fenced in dog runs. There was plenty of room for your dog to get some energy out. We only stayed one night. Our cabin was spacious and the refrigerator was good sized for those who plan on staying for a week. We were impressed with what we saw during the day when we took a quick drive through. There was not much green grass, but for us that did not matter. There was a play area as well as swimming pool & hot tubs open 24hrs. We will be planning on returning and making our stay longer.

Very nice KOA. Little pricey and not extremely convenient to get to but it was nice all the same. Laundry, showers, mini golf, kids play area, multiple pet areas, pool and cabins. Not a whole lot of choices in the convenience store but will get you by in a pinch. It is a little noisy with the highway so close.
