This pull-apart bread is guaranteed to be a hit at your next holiday gathering!
Cranberry Brie Pull-Apart Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 round loaf sourdough bread (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce, canned or homemade
- 1 (8-16oz) wheel brie
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
- ½ cup chopped roasted pecans, optional
- Honey, for drizzling, optional
Directions:
1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
2. Cut 1-inch squares in the bread using a serrated knife by making 1-inch thick cuts in one direction, turning bread and cutting 1-inch cuts in the opposite direction, making sure not to cut all the way through the loaf.
3. Melt butter with rosemary and thyme in a heat-proof pan.
4. Brush the loaf with half of the melted butter, making sure to get into the cuts. Reserve the other half for drizzling at the end of assembly.
5. Spread the cuts with cranberry sauce, tucking the sauce deep into the cuts.
6. Cut the brie into slices and tuck into the bread cuts. (Note: for an extra cheesy loaf, use 16 ounces of brie.)
7. Drizzle the loaf with the remaining butter and sprinkle with pecans, if using.
8. Double wrap in foil and bake over indirect heat on the covered grill for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. Drizzle with 1-2 tablespoons of honey and serve while warm.
