The staff were super friendly and kind. The men’s bathroom was reportedly fine, but the women’s bathroom was consistently dirtier than we are used to, as we stay at many campgrounds around the county. We did not utilize any of the amenities, but they seemed consistent with the website and lots of children around, enjoying the outdoors:)

We were very unhappy with our stay, there was no differentiation on the website for sites that had electric versus non-electric and they placed us right next to the play area so kids were kicking their balls into our campsite and walking through our campsite all night. we definitely will not be back.

Bathrooms need alittle cleaning and the trash picked up everyday. Some trash laying around the park. I picked up multiple water bottles.

Excellent customer service. I called the general manager well after midnight because there were kids playing basketball for 20 minutes, and he answered on the second ring, and sent someone to speak to them. My kids said it was the most fun campground ever. Probably due for some upgrades (ping pong table…) but the staff was kind and the bathrooms were kept clean, so hard to make any complaints.

Check-in was great, the ladies working were extremely friendly and helpful. All of the staff were nice. The facilities (bathroom, showers, dish sink) were surprisingly clean! I did have a loud group next to me, and some of the RVs were loud with bright set-ups so I wouldn’t stay here if I wanted a peaceful trip. To literally just camp it was great.

We stayed at the KOA in Washington over Christmas this year, and wow what service! We stayed in a tent, and the staff and fellow campers were so helpful. This location is the perfect base for touring the capital. Just a quick 40 minute drive right into the heart of DC. The campground is immaculate. Very clean and well maintained. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

another great KOA Campground. Very clean and pretty. You wouldn’t think you were near DC it was quiet and I was greeted by another camper with her son who had a roaring fire when I got there late at night. I got to sit by the fire already stoked and, I had a very pleasant stay.

My daughter and I were there for the No Kings protest in Washington DC. Your campground was just far enough out to allow us to escape the crowd. We had a very nice site. The Facilities were kept clean and the store was well stocked. Thank you!

Loved my stay, but the tent pad was covered in rocks from the parking area and was really hard to sleep on. It just needed to be raked out I think. Otherwise, everything was good.

So much to do for the kids. Nice big no hookup spots. Clean bathrooms! Toiletries in bathroom like soap shampoo conditioner. 5 min from dunkin donuts

It’s been years since I have been at this location and although things are very different me and my family had a wonderful time. The staff was very nice/helpful free activities for the kids a nice playground and Jump pad. we can’t wait to go back.

Staff very friendly and actually still staffed a little later than most. Everything was clean and well maintained. A lot of fun little items for kids. Lay out is nice and even the gravel sections were smooth. Campsites were nice and flat and well kept for tents. It was quiet for being right in the heart of so much.

Good Stay we had a tent campsite used the showers once. Main thing here is try not to raise the rates on the tent camp site, Currently $75 per night really hope it does not go up from here any time soon.

Kinda pricy for a camp site. Much smaller than the Harpers Ferry location. Staff was very friendly place was clean.

The store was well stocked and the bathrooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only sadness was there was no WIFI because of a lightning strike.

Entire property is immensely cleaned and very well taken care of. Staff was great. The amenities are great, place really looks out for its customers.

Great location! Everyone who works here is super nice. We arrived around 9pm after the office was closed and was nervous we wouldn't be able to set up. We were pleasantly surprised to find the wood already at our camp site and our checkin packet hanging on the board. It was a lovely stay.

The KOA had lots for kids to do and reasonably price laundry. Although it is near roads, the noise level was low. No nearby trains that we heard, which is a positive for tent camping. Only negative was that the power to our refrigerator cooler was off and on. It is brand new and worked fine on the 16 hour drive there. At the site the power was off and on?? Had to throw away our food for safety.

We had a good stay at the DC/Capitol KOA - convenient location from which to visit DC (via the Greenbelt Metro line), Baltimore, and Annapolis. Nice showers and clean bathrooms.

Campsite nice, shady, location to Crownsville for music festival fantastic, front desk staff very nice, 3 bundles of wood for $20 great. However, the equipment for activities could use a huge update. Pool table outside terrible shape, ping pong table poor shape, basketball peeling apart, no grip, overall, equipment needs more care and replaced. Also, the bikes should be included and not rental

As a solo camper, safety is a huge factor to me. I felt very safe at this KOA and slept peacefully. Thank you for being accommodating and welcoming during my stay!

Nice facilities. Easy pick up of materials for late check-in. Our van needed a jump start and the staff helped us immediately. Nice experience.

I emailed to let the KOA know we would be arriving late and there wasn’t a response. When we got there, our packet wasn’t ready when checking in late. Our campsite had piled up leaves, over accumulating leaves, which I get we are in an outdoor area but clearing some leaves would’ve been nice. The bathrooms were dirty with trash on the floors.

It was nice that the staff suggested a site that would be less muddy than I would otherwise select. It was annyoying that my site had no power the second night of booking. Not a big deal for me, as I was car camping, but if I had a tent, and take it down and put it back up at a nearby site with electric in the dark, that would suck(freezing tempatures). Hooks over men's sinks mounted upside down.

Good grounds, bad reservation. We had a good stay despite the reserved site selection. The assigned camp site was completely off from what we requested in reservation writing, email, and phone calls... -a tent site with level/flat parking- (the site parking was a short steep slope! with many empty sites around that would work) so we finally found an appropriate site on our own..that worked well.

Although we arrived at 3am and checked out at 945am, I would say we had a nice sleep, a little overpriced for 6hrs @ $70 but we would go again. One of the nicer KOAs we've been to.

The stay was fantastic with one exception: on Sunday afternoon I received the last call for firewood text, and it stated the store would be open until 8pm. In reality, it was open until 6pm, so when we showed up at 7 expecting to have an hour left, we were out of luck. We definitely would have come earlier, if not for the text saying it would be open until 8pm.

Very large RV Park and long sites to pull through made our drive easy to navigate with a 65' RV and trailer combo. The office was quick to respond when we had an issue too.

We overnighted here; it was comfortable. RV Life directions and Waze directions were very confusing so if you stay here plan an arrival before dark. We would consider staying g long to see local sites on next trip in this area. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
