We had a cabin, and a camper spot. Our camper site had full 50amp hookups, but we barely had water our entire stay. If you can’t provide all the amenities that are supposed to be included in the price, you need to lower the price. I had to go to the camp store sink to wash dishes, I couldn’t use my own toilet, I couldn’t use my own shower. And all you could say is, it’s on the list to fix,

This is a beautiful KOA campground! We arrived to our cabin with chilly April weather and the space heater had already been turned on for us. The cabin and grounds were well kept, and bathrooms/showers were always clean. Every person we encountered in the office/store were personable and helpful. We walked the nature trail and it was lovely. Highly recommend this campground!

The crew working the campground were superb! We loved the cabin. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best hands down KOA/ campground we have been to yet! Phoenix even helped our 10 year old figure out an easy way to figure out tax, and gave us a baby glass duck for our Jeep~ which was icing on the cake for our 10 yr old!

Thee cabin was fine, mostly. It seemed to have been designed for two intimate adults and two children. As two non-intimate adults (my mother and I) it was quite uncomfortable to sleep on the child's size bunk, and I am only 5'4" tall. The only way for the second intimate adult to get into the bed is to crawl, as it was against the wall. The parking area for the cabin was too far from the entrance.

Thank you very much for a Great two nights in your one room rustic cabin. Love the outdoor deck for my dog. He likes to sit outside and enjoy the scenery! The showers in Satellite building are private, clean and warm! The workampers and managers are all very nice and helpful! We will be back again! �

Normally I love this KOA, come here a few times a year with the kids this time we swung for a cabin and it smelt horrible like wet dog and sweaty big people. My fiancé was not happy and my kids complained the whole time bc of the smell. We tried to air it out but was not pleased this particular stay.

We stayed in Cabin K116, it was clean and comfortable. We want to give a special shout out to Phoenix who was a pleasure to speak with and provided excellent service, and let us know about the KOA program for keeping our KOA reward points above 20K for extra savings.

We had a great weekend at Capitol KOA. Even though we live close by, the park was a chance to relax and disconnect from every day life. The kids played basketball, went for a walk and built a fire. Check in could not have been easier. We used an RV site and a cabin and both exceeded our expectations. It was a relaxing weekend and great break form the ordinary.

The campground is clean, KOA employees helpful and friendly. They do a great job with Halloween weekends. Did miss the costume contest and costume parade.

The campsite was very clean, however the worker genteman that kept coming into the ladies bathroom early in the morning WELL before the posted bathroom cleaning hours was very strange and made me feel uncomfortable. That needs to be addressed.

The Halloween weekend has become a family tradition. We enjoy the campground and activities. We feel you have improved the experience since the recent management change. Kudos to Chris Raynsford! The staff is for the most part very accommodating!

We love the location close to the DC area but far enough away it is really nice and quiet. The cabin was really clean. We will stay again I'm sure.

Very friendly, courteous staff. Every single one of them. My only problem was when there was evidently a blockage in the line causing the bathroom to flood. The gentleman I called asked if it could wait until morning. I replied no, that there were 4 people in my cabin who would like to use the facilities. So, he came out. He was very nice in person when he did arrive, though. We enjoyed our stay.

The deluxe cabin was exactly what we needed for our stay in the area and was so much better than a faceless hotel room. We appreciated the kitchenette; it had everything we needed for a short stay. Campground is quiet and well kept and the hosts are excellent. Would highly recommend.

It was our first stay at a KOA, we were very impressed by the excellent customer service in your store and from the gentleman who escorted us to our cabin. Beautiful campground, clean facilities what more could you ask for. Close to our destination which was the MD Renaissance Festival. Thanks!

I have nothing but good things to say about my one night stay. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Cabin was spotlessly clean! Other campers were friendly and polite. It was peaceful and quiet. I can hardly wait to do this again! Thanks for making it such a great experience!!

Very pleasant stay in the 2BR with deck cabins. Very thoughtful to the stay for leaving the outside lights on since we arrived at nighttime :) Cleaned bathrooms / showers. Enjoyed the nature trail and the outside games with the family. Really friendly staff! Only improvement is that they did not have anybody that day to be able to use the inflated pillow. Overall very thankfull & happy!

My stay was amazing! The bathroom and my cabin were spotless. The showers were well cleaned and maintained The shower water was hot and plentiful. FINALLY Dennis and Susan were amazing hosts.

We stayed in a cabin and the bath house was a long walk. There are 3 rows of big campers to walk around. The rules say not to cut across occupied sites. Both bath houses are next to each other. Very bad planning. One of the bath houses should be by the cabins. Also the fire ring is literally 3 feet from the road and we could not move it. Staff was friendly and other facilities were fine.

A general power outage from mi- evening to late AM, the following day. All RESTROOMS were NON-FUNCTIONAL & NO backup facilities provided, during this extended period. A PARTIAL REFUND would've been appreciated, due to this EXTREME inconvenience, despite an "event of nature." Staff very friendly. Small cabin kept me dry over 2 night stay during continuous rain, (forfeited 3rd night reservation.)

This was my family's 2nd stay here and we love the lovely , well kept , outdoorsy atmosphere. The cabins are clean & relatively roomy. I Would recommend bringing a mattress topper if you like being comfortable. The beds are very firm or , in the case of the sofa bed, slightly concave in the middle. Lol Staff was wonderful, helpful and attentive. That was So Appreciated during the Storm.

My wife and I are finally empty nesters after raising 6 kids, so we’re actively looking for new adventures. We’re advid campers and saw a last minute cancellation on one of the rustic cabins and seized the opportunity to get away for the weekend. The Capital KOA is only about 45 minutes away from our house, so super easy and convenient to get there on a busy DMV Friday afternoon. Great experie

This was a fantastic getaway. Close to both DC and Annapolis, while feeling a world away. I liked the pool and the nature trail. The view into the woods from my cabin was perfect.

We had a great stay at this KOA. Our 4 year old pup got diagnosed with Lymphoma this year and we made a summer bucket list to spend time doing things she loves while we still have her. One of the things on her list is camping! She loves camping and we were so happy to get a last minute cabin for the night so we could fulfill her wish. Our family had such a wonderful time here. Thank you!

We never have issues here but this time we did. I never knew or had been asked about the amount of people staying at the cabins with my family & never been charged for extra people. That caught me by surprise this stay. Thought it was handled but the person who called me to told me it was not & I needed to pay, showed no empathy about it at all. We won’t be back.

Wonderful time at the KOA. The grandkids had a blast at the ice cream social and candy bar bingo. They made friends at the pool. The camp store was great. All of the Koa employees were friendly and helpful.

I have been staying almost exclusively at KOAs since the early 2000s. The Capitol KOA packs a lot of amenities into a smaller area. It was fantastic! The Staff were more than friendly and the grounds very nicely taken care of. Though I did not use many of the amenities all of the kids who were seemed to be having an amazing time. Very nice and peaceful but also very close to major areas.

Excellent location, close to Fort Meade, they have cottages and a tiny house, staff were very helpful. Location is convenient.
