This is the cleanest and friendliest campground. This was our second stay. We loved our site location and found the staff very helpful for our weekend visit.

Campground was clean and everything worked as it should. Staff were competent and polite. Highway noise was less than I expected. The other campers were quiet. They sell kiln dried firewood which was the best I’ve ever used at a campground.

This was our first stay and the dry run location for our new travel trailer. The experience was great, the campground is stellar, and the facilities and people were outstanding. I was confident, should I have needed any help, it would have been available. This campground is tucked inside the urban sprawl of the area, although you’d never know. It’s beautiful and we’ll come back again!

The pump out station when I was leaving on June 10 was full as it most likely had not been pumped out for quite some time to accommodate my discharge from the black and gray water tank from my RV. The material was overflowing not only at the main access by a nearby overflow valve was discharging sewage all over the area. Poor maintenance, not a good image for KOA Capital KOA. Will not be back

Only stayed for 1 night in June. On our way to Watkins Glen in NY. Very nice park with wonderful staff. Did not use any of the amenities.

This was a very quiet, very clean campground. The staff members were wonderful, as well as sincerely sympathetic to our ordeal of having our truck break down before we got there, and the fact we had to leave our camper for a couple of days until we could come back and pick it up as we had no vehicle available in Maryland to do it. We are from Michigan, so they helped us out tremendously.

The rudest women waited on us when I went to check in. Informed me that I had a dirt bike on the front of my bus( we'll no duh) I said yeah she very rudely told me we could not ride it in the park at all!! OK never planned on it. Then charged us an extra fee because we had my sub in my trailer we were pulling. ( they had been told about the trailer in February when I made the reservations, never

This KOA is family friendly, so much to do for the kids!! It also was very pleasant for those who don't have kids! We enjoyed the availability of the food trucks, the pool is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming!! We had privacy though the camp is very large with areas to explore on walks. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The dumpster by the bathrooms was an issue as it was overflowing with trash and developed an odor near the end of our stay. Several guest did not respect the 5 MPH speed limit, especially when it was dark. Not sure how you can enforce it. The staff is hard working, a pleasure to interact with and great ambassadors for the site. Will definitely stay here again, just not near the dumpster.

Short distance from home for us. It's quiet, clean and plenty to do whether it's kids activities: pool, gaga ball, jump pad and bikes. Or for adults...nothing. Great time this weekend.

Love the campground with the beautiful wooded sites. We really enjoyed our stay and the KOA staff were so helpful and friendly. The laundry was great with brand new washers. The campground location isn't far from the Marc Odenton train station and we took the train to D.C. several days during our stay. Also found everything else we needed for groceries and pet supplies nearby.

It was okay, very friendly on arrival.’ Check. Out time , should be 12:30 , not 11 On a Sunday . We stay at private parks, check in time is little later and check out time is normally 1:00 pm 4:00 pm on Sunday. Pending renewal KOA membership , do not really see the benefit , based on this stay

Staff was very friendly and accommodating Site was a Ant farm and muddy There could of been more stone on the stone on site and that would of eliminate ants!

Absolutely awesome place to stay! The staff were friendly and ready to help if needed. Campground was very well maintained! Only 6-7 minutes from the MARC station in Odenton, the staff recommended taking the train to get to D.C. and it’s the only way to go! Thank you to all the great folks at Capital KOA!!

Site was so unlevel we almost couldn’t level it. No cable tv. Couldn’t access tv channels. Very small site so parking was difficult.

Desk Associates are very nice and accommodating However the site is an Ant Haven and when the Ants aren’t trying to get in., the sand and mud do. Sites are not maintained with gravel , if so we wouldn’t have Ants and mud. Ran Cery nicely with that exception!

Need better signage to the location from the highway. Garmin knew where you were at, but not how to get there (except through the trees). Golf cart driver asked me to make a u turn and then turn the wrong way into my site. All I had to do was loop around and enter the site properly.

Our stay was good, even with rain. We did have issues w/internet connection (wifi) even for basic internet/email- it would drop connection. Nice store renovation. Hopefully better wifi and cable tv hookups will be next!! At checkin, 1 lady was learning and Phoenix was helping, but she was abrupt, annoyed that I was familiar with location's parking and site location. Staff is usually SO nic

This KOA is very well maintained. Although it is close to a highway, the stay was relatively quiet. The only complaint I would have is that the sites and internal roads are in need of gravel. The staff were very friendly. On our next visit to the area, we will definitely consider staying here again!

We've visited during off season and on season and both times were a good stay. The bathrooms are generally clean but the staff are helpful. My kid had a good time doing the crafts and stayed at the park majority of the time. The lots are a little cramped, and if you're near the front of the park there are little to no trees. You can hear the highway while sitting in the park but it didn't really bother me much. I would recommend staying if you have a kid and would like them to have lots to do. My usual trips are more for the nature and I would say this isn't really the campground for that. There is a nature trail that is actually pretty decent sized and cool, had a clear path and lots of different routes you could take which was cool. All in all a pretty good campground, just depends what you're looking for.

This KOA was very reasonably priced for the pull through 30 amp site. We did not have full hook up. Lots of amenities for kids-bounce pad, cute cart-style bikes for rental, decent sized pool. Folks were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again when visiting MD/DC.
