What a great campground! Staff was very friendly and helpful, campsites and facilities are all clean. This is a very quiet campground, people were pretty much packed in and quiet before 9pm so if you have young kids that would be great for you. On site amenities are good for a small site like this and the kids loved the playground and bounce pad. Lots to do within reasonable driving distance.

I have stayed there many times. On my way North for the Summer and on my way South for the Winter. I would never stay at any other park. I ALWAYS feel safe. Thanks you!!

Great campground!!! Owners were awesome!!! Will be staying again as it is a good home base to check out DC and a fun place for the kids to hang!!!!

Stayed in Site 34 which was a great spot. Campground was full but quiet. Great spot to hop on the MARC train to visit the Capitol. Every interaction we had with the staff was pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice campground, friendly staff, plenty of activities for kids. Great location to DC, Baltimore and Annapolis. Individual showers were clean!

This was our very first visit to a KOA as new RV’ers, and we were very pleased with the amenities and the cleanliness of the campground. The staff was friendly and very helpful with our questions and guiding us on our journey’s into DC.. Highly recommend this campground..

Quiet, convenient, easy access, good location, overall a nice campground. Older, quaint, but met expectations in the off season. I would stay here again.

We had some rough weather, so we were limited with exploring the campground. The people next to us left 3 barking dogs in their trailer and left all day. The people on the other side were slamming doors and talking loud at 1 am. The staff was very nice and accommodating

Love the site. Everyone was sooo nice and I love that it is dog friendly. Will go back here again and try other KOAs in the future.

Facilities were nice and clean. The staff were extremely helpful! Also, the location really is great to get to Baltimore, DC, OR Annapolis. Great for exploring all the cities.

Well maintained. Pleasant staff. Restroom was very clean. Only complaint is spacing between sites is very tight.

You need to install cable. It’s pretty standard these days. Otherwise our one night stopover was uneventful. But after driving all day watching some TV would have been nice.

First of all, KOA campgrounds are always nice to stay at especially if you have kids. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

We loved our stay at Capitol! If we are ever in the area we will be checking Capitol for availability first. I could not believe the improvements that were made in less than a month. It changed the feel of the campground. Management was AMAZING! I now find myself comparing all campground facilities and staff to Capitols. This place is the benchmark for a great KOA!

This is a lovely campground in a wooded area. The restrooms are clean and the showers are individual with locking doors. Friendly front desk welcomes you. Would definitely go back

Stay was great. Chris was very helpful friendly and very nice. Plan to stay there again Only negative issue was someone open the gate to our truck while we were sleeping and sole our big pressure tank , very upset about that but that is not campground fault.

Our site was troublesome because of a curb & a drastic pitch. When we stay at Capitol KOA again, I would ask for another site. We arrived after the office closed for the day or I would have asked to move.

This KOA was wonderful. The staff was super helpful and nice! The campground is small and quiet. My kids loved the playground and amenities. There were lots of other kids as well. We will definitely be back!

Very nice campground, we stayed on site 36 with our 35 ft. travel trailer. Very level site. The campground was very quiet compared to other campgrounds we visited. The bathrooms/showers were clean each time we used them. My husband took a shower one time and said the water was not very hot. We did not use the pool or any of the other activities available, but looked very nice. The workers we spoke to were very helpful and friendly, we arrived after the office clised but had no issues finding our site. Resturants, grocery store, gas stations only a short drive away.

This KOA is about 15 min north of Jessup. We had a great time here. I have a girl scout troop and we went camping on a rainy weekend and it was so much fun! We stayed in cabins, and they were spacious and clean. A bit musty, but what do you expect.....you're camping. The room layout was great. There was a full-size bed and two bunk beds in another room. The girls in my troop had enough room in the cabins. The bathrooms were very clean and well supplied. Even though we didn't use the showers, they were super clean. I would highly recommend KOA. This is our send stay at a KOA and it's been a great experience.
