We stayed in site 29. It has a tree at the back end of the site that has quite a few of surface roots that stick up creating tripping hazards, espically older individuals. This should be addressed.

We did no arrive til after 5 and office was closed. There was a packet but someone was on that site. Thank goodness an employee was still there to put us on a site. This was a quick overnight leave early stay. I got an email I needed to come to the office by 10am to register. We were long gone by then. I called and spoke to someone that was no help. Need better customer service.

If you need to stay in this area for family or something other reason i would say stay here. But its right next to the highway so loud road noise. I felt the check in was slow and a pain really.

Resort amenities are great. Campground itself is quiet, however, you can hear highway traffic, planes and trains but not enough to prevent sleep. Our pull through site was actually around a sharp bend so we did have to back up a bit to pull through. Sites are well spaced.

The staff was friendly, the park was clean. It was close enough to Washington DC to drive in with no problem (roughly 28 miles to where we were going). The rate was reasonable for the area.

The actual campground was nice and the staff was very friendly but the cabin I rented had not been cleaned. There was dirt on the bed, the floor had leafs blowing in the front door and the only light was the overhead light. Very disappointing

We have been staying at the Wash DC/Capital KOA for years. We do Spring and Fall. We love it.

I think I was overcharged. While reviewing my receipt, I noticed that I was charged for an extra vehicle. My reservation was for a motorhome-towing. This is probably the 10th KOA I’ve stayed in this year and have never been charged this extra fee.

We stayed 11 days and truly enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Lynn was always smiling and helpful in the office/store. Jim was great! He came by every day to ask if we needed anything. My husband said we were going to get firewood, and he was back in 2 minutes with the firewood! Our granddaughter will be in the Academy 3 more years. We will definitely stay with you.

People at office were wonderful. Nice as can be. Campground very well kept. Lots of things for the kids (even though it rained). Expensive. Think it’s closer to B’more than DC. Hope to come back in nicer weather.

Mainly used it as a point to get into the city. Transportation to the city was easy and inexpensive. Staff in the office was very helpful in getting it started with the trains.

Very Noisy Traffic from surrounding roads, people in in the campground drive way to fast on the main road into the campground “needs Sped-bumps”. Water taste horrible! Very close campsites! Asked for a month stay was denied by Caleb, but while we were there there were “Plenty” of empty spots.

Nice campground with a huge pool, perfect for a cool down after touring DC all day. Location is close to the Marc Penn train station, Odenton. Nice dog run area and woods walking trail. Staff were extra nice too:)

I don't normally leave reviews. What I can say about KOA is the staff is wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. My only complaint as the size of the site that we were given. We have a 32 foot motorhome, and no matter where I put the motorhome on the Pull through site, there was not enough room to park my car behind the motorhome. It was a good thing that the office was right across from me. I could park my Jeep there overnight. My only other complaint, due to the width of the site, my neighbor's sewage hookup was extremely close to the corner of the picnic table (see photo). If you were looking for a site with more room, I suggest you go down the hill. Again, Great people, clean park, nice amenities for the kids.
