We were in the area for some events at the Naval Academy. KOA convenient to Annapolis and many restaurants locally in Gambrills. KOA facilities - bathhouse was very good, did not use the laundry. Camp store well stocked. :)

Friendly check-in and escort to site. Wonderful big Premium site with patio. Only complaint about site 35 was the side with water, electric and sewer hook ups became a muddy pond due to the rain while we were there. Some gravel would have eliminated the problem and made hookups more pleasant and less wading water. Otherwise nice campground for visiting Annapolis.

We had a wonderful stay at the KOA. My suggestion is to update the laundry room. The machines are coin operated and app operated. Also, give the staff a separate place to do KOA laundry. The sweet staff gal was doing the KOA cabin laundry while we were doing our laundry. Staff, store, location, amenities were great. We would stay again. Thanks for the memories.

The Washington / Capitol KOA is one of the best campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at! TONS of amenities and family-friendly activities. Our kids really enjoyed the playground, jump pillow, nature trail, bingo games and crafts. The campground itself is set in the woods-many sites are fully shaded. Absolutely beautiful, with easy access to tourist sites in the area. Our only complaint is the road nois

This campground was beautiful! The people who work there were very nice and helpful. The landscape was very nicely done. The last two times we stayed at this location was years ago and it was really good to see how it has been improved!

Very nice park! Shout out to Bethany awesome job with checkin. The man who guided us to our site made sure we knew where all the connections were. Great location to visit DC. The train is approximately 15 minutes away with plenty of parking. Pool wasn’t opened yet for the season. Not traveling with kids but others seem to enjoy the playground & bikes. Arrived Tuesday, May 13 and returned home Friday May 16, 2025. On my arrival was provided with my checkin papers, map of the grounds and amenities. The staff was very friendly and eager to see that I had what I needed. I had stayed in this KOA several years ago, so this was my second visit here. I was pleased and will hope to return again soon.

This is our go-to campground is the DC area. Great location with access to everything! Also, it has the feel of a campground that is hidden away.

Sites are small and close together but very clean. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. 30-50 minute drive into DC depending on traffic. Would stay here again in the future when returning to Washington DC.

We stayed in a 50 amp pull through full hook up site and it was marvelous. The campground offers great sites and the staff is friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed here before and will again!

We pulled in very late Friday night and everything was there for our check in and directions to our spot, which in the dark usually isn't easy but this time it was. Everything was nicely marked and the spots easy to navigate. The kids had a great time on the playground and wish we would have been around for the activities they had planned.

Our visit was very pleasant and relaxing. We were excited to see that Phoenix came back to work at the KOA in Millersville. She is wonderful, funny and a pleasure to talk to as well as all the staff. We will be back soon.

Great location. 10 minute drive to train station and 30 minute train ride to Union Station. $14 round trip daily rate. Easy walk to all major sites from there. Campground is very well maintained and showers look to be recently renovated. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a quick weekend stay. We went to the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds and this was the closest campground. The campground was quiet. Since we don't have young children and dogs, did not use those amenities. We are coming back in two weeks for another event at the AAC Fairgrounds.

This is a very nice campground. We were in a Drive-Thru RV space. The curb when you try and pull out has almost a curb to it. It was very hard to pull our trailer over that curb. Otherwise it was a nice Campground.

Nice campground with a huge pool, perfect for a cool down after touring DC all day. Location is close to the Marc Penn train station, Odenton. Nice dog run area and woods walking trail. Staff were extra nice too:)

I don't normally leave reviews. What I can say about KOA is the staff is wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. My only complaint as the size of the site that we were given. We have a 32 foot motorhome, and no matter where I put the motorhome on the Pull through site, there was not enough room to park my car behind the motorhome. It was a good thing that the office was right across from me. I could park my Jeep there overnight. My only other complaint, due to the width of the site, my neighbor's sewage hookup was extremely close to the corner of the picnic table (see photo). If you were looking for a site with more room, I suggest you go down the hill. Again, Great people, clean park, nice amenities for the kids.
