Everything was very good from check-in through the full stay. Minor issues like dishes not being fully clean that were out away (still had food on them), no entry mat to wipe feet on so when it rained, the floors got a but wet, and the AC filters smelled very moldy when run. But other than that - very good!

Campground was great. Our cabin was ok, it could have been cleaner. Coffee maker did not work. Initially tv in bedroom did not work however staff was quick in looking into issue. All in all a great stay. Staff was wonderful. 4 star not 5 for cleanliness of cabin.

The cabin 127 was clean and the ac was already running! An awesome lady was out there blowing leaves off the deck which had a picnic table and beautiful hanging swing for two. The other campers were friendly and no problems with rowdy or noisy people. It was a wonderful experience thank you all .

The staff at Washington DC/Capitol KOA go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed. The front desk was amazing, and hand delivered firewood, ice, and a new propane tank during our stay. Excellent cabin as well! Very clean with all the amenities provided!

There is only one matter of concern there are no grills at the cabins. In my opinion, the grill is a staple and should not be excluded. The Wifi was down during my stay. The TV is mounted to high in K201. The height of the TV made an awkward viewing experience. Now, the tranquility and overall upkeep of the site is PHENOMENAL. This is my Happy Place.

Mr Hammer made our stay most enjoyable. We traveled with 7 in our family. Our RV site had a firepit but without a grill cover so our 3 granddaughters could cook hot dogs. Mr Hammer welded together an old cover and installed it. He greeted us warmly every day and we knew that he would be available to help for anything we needed. Thanks VERY much!!

Very laid-back and quiet campsite. We stayed in a nice one room cabin. The facilities were pleasant and clean. Nice place to relax and enjoy the greenery. The I wifi sucks, I couldn't get on to check my email. We were told that it was because of the storm, but the storm hadn't even started when we arrived on Friday, and there was no wifi at all. The staff who registered us in on Friday greeted us

This KOA has clean bathrooms with nice toilets, electric sockets, and clean showers. I have stayed in the tent area, and the sites are big, and it is nicer than a cheap hotel. The big selling point of this KOA is that it is 4 miles from a lot for a train that takes you to downtown DC for $7 to see concerts and museums. The free lot and train is far cheaper than the $40 lots in DC try to charge.

Outstanding customer service. Our Deluxe Cabin was clean and comfortable. The campground was quiet and inviting. There are multiple activities and the camp store had ice cream!

initially it was bumpy due to our late check in and the key not being available. however, once we got a hold of the campsite manager, it was remedied quickly! They handled it great. The site was clean, property was well kept and the amenities were well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.

Everyone at the office was terrific, especially the lady who checked us in. (Sorry, forgot her name!) The bathrooms & showers needed a bit more attention, but it was after office hours, so understandable.

The hours of this KOA seemed very different from the ones we have stayed at in the past. Overall a good place to stay. I wish they had a telephone number to call and talk about reservations and needs so I could have chosen our site better. So far this is the only KOA that didn’t give a Scout discount. This place was very clean and very peaceful during our stay.

We've stay at the Washington DC/Capitol KOA numerous times & this was not the typical experience that we are accustom to. We stayed in a large cabin this time, which we have done at other KOAs & the accommodation weren't up to the typical KOA standard of cleanliness & functionality, this time the experience fell short. We decided to cut our trip short & head back home.Price didn't match experience

Cute grounds, clean cabin, love that the porch is in the back as well as the fire pit. Good wifi, clean bathrooms. We were there early May and enjoyed the quiet.

Overall we had a great time. The park is clean and all the staff is very friendly. The store hours are not convenient. Either opening an hour early or a staying open little later would be helpful for travelers who are gone for the day. Many small dogs off leash. My children were chases multiple times and because of the office hours we were unable to speak with someone about this.

The cabin was wonderful! It was clean and well taken care of. The A/C possibly needs some repairs or replacing as it was extremely loud but wasn't a huge deal. The bathrooms were always kept clean. Lots of things for our kids to do. The dog park was nice for our dog. We didn't have enough time to explore the trails and such but will definitely be back!!

Nice campground with a huge pool, perfect for a cool down after touring DC all day. Location is close to the Marc Penn train station, Odenton. Nice dog run area and woods walking trail. Staff were extra nice too:)

I don't normally leave reviews. What I can say about KOA is the staff is wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. My only complaint as the size of the site that we were given. We have a 32 foot motorhome, and no matter where I put the motorhome on the Pull through site, there was not enough room to park my car behind the motorhome. It was a good thing that the office was right across from me. I could park my Jeep there overnight. My only other complaint, due to the width of the site, my neighbor's sewage hookup was extremely close to the corner of the picnic table (see photo). If you were looking for a site with more room, I suggest you go down the hill. Again, Great people, clean park, nice amenities for the kids.
