The campground itself was very nice but the rustic cabins are VERY small and cramped. Having the main bed up against the wall is very inconvenient for the person on the inside to get up in the middle of the night. Amd in bad weather, way too cramped to not be able to be outside

Amazing campsite, very peaceful nice hiking trail at both ends of the site. Tons of facilities and it’s kept very clean. The staff was amazing �ϸ recommend to everyone.

We are very impressed! We have been to several "resort" like campgrounds along the east coast & we've never felt the camping family feel like here. The campground was clean, cabins were amazing,they came with linens (@not extra cost) chairs at the fire pit, the picnic table on a patio & a table on the deck!!! This was far more of a resort feel than any camping resort we've been to. We'll be back!!

The mattress on our bed in the cabin we stayed was almost non existent. It was like we were laying on the wood bars directly. We also asked to be placed near a group we came with and instead they placed us as far away from the group as possible. Was quite unhappy with our stay.

I believe the playground and pillow area should be watched better by staff because they pick n choose who to make follow the rules. Because they are never out there.

The stay overall was good. The folks in the main office were great. The cabin could have been a cleaned a little better before our arrival, a few dead bugs in the shower and a few cobwebs. My daughter also complained about the comfort of the matts in the bunks. However the overall stay was good. Created some great memories during the weekend we were there.

Very nice cabin and updated furniture from the last time that we were there. We had a problem with the heat and the manager came right away to fix it and was very kind. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in a cabin this time we visited but we have stayed here in our rv in the past . The campground is perfectly located for touring D.C.. The cabin was very clean and well stocked for anything you need. It was located towards the back of the campground so it was quiet. I highly recommend this campground.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at a cabin and booked a RV site next to it so we could get our rig ready for shipping back to Europe. Thanks for making that possible! Also the store is well equipped and the washrooms clean and heated.

Great stay! We are local and didnt want to travel far for my birthday so I booked us a stay here to celebrate. Have always had a great expirence staying here as a kid so was looking forward to it. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. No issues what so ever. Cabin was clean, fire logs outside and heat on when we arrived. Even had our two dogs with us and no issues. Will be sure to return.

We stayed in a different cabin this time and it was fantastic!! The heat was great, nothing was run down or broken-will definitely choose one of the Deluxe/8 person cabins in the future. I just wish the rates didn’t get astronomical as the year goes on. We won’t be able to afford to stay there when it’s warmer and get the full cabin, firepit, grilling out experience.

Overall good but the couch was broken. Mentioned this in a past review that it was in bad shape and instead of fixing it, a cover was put on it. The couch is now actually broken and needs to be replaced. Very pathetic that it hasn’t been replaced. This campground makes enough money to replace a broken and worn pull out couch.

We paid for firewood but there was none at our cabin so we had to rummage through the woods in the dark to find some and everything was wet. We liked the cabin a lot except for the fact that the bedroom and bathroom doors don't lock.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, allowing us to check in early to our cabin. We stayed in KL1 and it was clean and had all the necessary essentials for the bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen. We were able to decorate for Christmas and made the happiest memories with our family. It’s super cozy and we’ll definitely be back :)

Overall was a great stay/cabin. One concern however—the couch. Was great to sit on in the evening when hanging out however, it was horribly uncomfortable to attempt to sleep on. When it’s opened, the mattress part is super thin and there’s no padding over the bars. It also angles downhill towards the back of the couch. Please replace the couch, I hope sooner than later, we’ll be back next

The deluxe cabin we stayed in was for 8 people. The cabin was too small for 8 people. There was only one bathroom, a table that only seated 4. The couch worn, ripped, and sagged in the center. The heaters were not efficient enough to keep the cabin warm. The kitchen area was not well prepared, there were no mixing bowls, or measuring cups and enough cups for 8 people. Beds were comfortable.

Everything was great except for couple things.TV in dining area wouldn't work. No signal, no matter what input I put it on. TV in bedroom worked fine. The fridge was broken in a couple spots. The inside drawer was cracked so badly couldn't use it for our drinks. We had to use our cooler with ice to put drinks in. The grill had no bottom and wasn't holding heat so it took longer to cook our food.

We were very impressed with our stay. We are seasoned KOA goers for over a decade now, & this location ranks as one of the nicest, in large part due to the lovely staff. They kindly showed us to our cabin, & delivered our firewood. The bathrooms were cleaned daily on time with two convenient shower locations, one offering more privacy of individual locking stalls. Many events for kids, too!

Nice campground. Our cabin did have some trash scattered in it when we arrived though and we wish we had one of the cabins farther from the road. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was kind.

The staff are very nice and my cabin was great. My only complaint was for the satellite restroom facility. The men's room and the three showers I used were all basically clean (swept out and wiped) but all really needed a deeper cleaning to get the mildew off the grout and dirt out of the corners. Frequently, the men's toilets had not been flushed, due to the need to hold down the handle.

They are always SO accommodating and helpful in every situation! They keep everything as neat and tidy as they can and the other guests have always been friendly and respectful. We’ve had great experiences each time we’ve been here and would definitely come back.

Cannot recommend. We found bed bugs on our last morning. My husband has 23 bites on his hands and back. We had to throw out a bunch of stuff that couldn't be cleaned and spend all day (and now today too) remediating all the items we did bring home. KOA did provide us a refund on our stay but I can't say that we'll be back.

Nice campground with a huge pool, perfect for a cool down after touring DC all day. Location is close to the Marc Penn train station, Odenton. Nice dog run area and woods walking trail. Staff were extra nice too:)

I don't normally leave reviews. What I can say about KOA is the staff is wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. My only complaint as the size of the site that we were given. We have a 32 foot motorhome, and no matter where I put the motorhome on the Pull through site, there was not enough room to park my car behind the motorhome. It was a good thing that the office was right across from me. I could park my Jeep there overnight. My only other complaint, due to the width of the site, my neighbor's sewage hookup was extremely close to the corner of the picnic table (see photo). If you were looking for a site with more room, I suggest you go down the hill. Again, Great people, clean park, nice amenities for the kids.
