Great location. Very clean. Ease of check in and key return. Although we didn’t have available time, there are many activities that looked great for our family to do on site.

The staff was amazing. I really appreciated the sports stuff and space to play and run around. I was extremely disappointed with the bathroom. First I spent $80/night and the place right before this I spent $20/night at a state park and their bathroom was MUCH better. Then the LARGEST spider I've ever seen came up out of the shower drain while I was showering and I had to run out screaming!

Great stay, thank you- Chris the new GM was fantastic! There was a retired Vet there that was also awesome. Most of the staff really was good and appreciate the hospitality. The campground is in need of some maintenance but the staff made up for it. thank you

Good for overnight stop. Site was not level took a lot of effort to level our trailer. Good for what we needed.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice campsites & lots of things for kids to do. Our experience was Excellent! I highly recommend the Washington DC/Capitol KOA campground.

Enjoyed our stay. Check in clerk Earl at front desk was helpful and quick getting us checked in. Site was close to amenities like we asked. Our patio site BBQ needed to have the tank refilled and staff was prompt to collect it and fill it for us. New Manager Chris stopped by our site to visit and was very friendly. We will def be back!!!

We rented a cabin. The only thing was the distance to the showers/restroom. Otherwise the cabin and grounds were fine. Good burning firewood and friendly staff.

The staff were friendly and the campground was neat and tidy. Significant improvements have been made since our last stay. It is in close proximity to the train which made it easy to travel to DC. We had an enjoyable stay.

I love being able to bring my dogs with me when I travel. I felt very comfortable leaving my chihuahuas in the cabin while visiting the MD Rennasaince Faire. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were lovely.

I've stayed here 2 or 3 times before. I really enjoy staying here as the sites are clean and well prepared. You will have some background noise and if it's recently been raining the bathrooms tend to be muddy, but overall definitely a great place to stay if you're in the DC Metro area.

We had such a great stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Campground and facilities were clean. We especially like the nature trail right on site. We will be back next year for sure.

We LOVED staying at Capitol KOA. We found the facilities extremely clean and the staff incredibly friendly/helpful. We came with a large group for RenFaire and everyone in our group was very pleased with this campground. My husband, son and I stayed in a rustic cabin which was perfect for a couple and a baby.

Super friendly staff willing to help with anything. Right off the freeway and approx 30 miles from downtown Washington DC. We enjoyed walking the campground with our dog. Very pretty setting. Good price on propane!!

This is by far the most expensive campground we have ever stayed in. There was nothing spectacular about it or anything. I guess I am spoiled by the beauty, privacy and hiking trails of state parks.

Campground and facilities were clean. Site was pull-through and fairly level; easy to set up our travel trailer. Access is very difficult from the south unless you are coming from Annapolis; Rtes 3N and I-97 have no direct exit near the campground. Arriving at night, it was difficult to distinguish between the road and the campsites; they were paved with the same gravel and of course no lightin

We booked our reservation in line and received confirmation. We arrived at around 7.30pm to check in. Store was closed and there were no instructions on how to check in or where we were meant to park. ! The next day we recieved further confirmation But still no idea of what site we were allocated . Unfortunate as the camp looked nice

Beautiful, safe and clean spacious sites. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great little nature hike or walking out of the campground was nice and safe. Close to shopping.

We enjoyed staying in the rustic cabin. Weather was cool and we cooked over the fire pit. Enjoyed basketball, bounce pillow and pedal bikes. Staff was friendly and campground was clean! Great time will come again!

We are regulars. We are retirees from AAco, we visit capitol twice a year to catch up with friends and family in the area. Love the Clean campground, friendly & helpful staff, nice sites, nicely stocked store and easy in/out toalllocal throughways. Only complaint. Peopledonot pick up after their pets. I picked up 9 piles thatdidn'tbelong to my girl.I'm taking pics of offenders and sharing them.

Very nice campground, we stayed on site 36 with our 35 ft. travel trailer. Very level site. The campground was very quiet compared to other campgrounds we visited. The bathrooms/showers were clean each time we used them. My husband took a shower one time and said the water was not very hot. We did not use the pool or any of the other activities available, but looked very nice. The workers we spoke to were very helpful and friendly, we arrived after the office clised but had no issues finding our site. Resturants, grocery store, gas stations only a short drive away.

This KOA is about 15 min north of Jessup. We had a great time here. I have a girl scout troop and we went camping on a rainy weekend and it was so much fun! We stayed in cabins, and they were spacious and clean. A bit musty, but what do you expect.....you're camping. The room layout was great. There was a full-size bed and two bunk beds in another room. The girls in my troop had enough room in the cabins. The bathrooms were very clean and well supplied. Even though we didn't use the showers, they were super clean. I would highly recommend KOA. This is our send stay at a KOA and it's been a great experience.
