We booked our reservation in line and received confirmation. We arrived at around 7.30pm to check in. Store was closed and there were no instructions on how to check in or where we were meant to park. ! The next day we recieved further confirmation But still no idea of what site we were allocated . Unfortunate as the camp looked nice

Beautiful, safe and clean spacious sites. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great little nature hike or walking out of the campground was nice and safe. Close to shopping.

Beautiful campground. Lots of highway noise but it didn’t keep me up. Bathrooms were clean.

We enjoyed staying in the rustic cabin. Weather was cool and we cooked over the fire pit. Enjoyed basketball, bounce pillow and pedal bikes. Staff was friendly and campground was clean! Great time will come again!

We are regulars. We are retirees from AAco, we visit capitol twice a year to catch up with friends and family in the area. Love the Clean campground, friendly & helpful staff, nice sites, nicely stocked store and easy in/out toalllocal throughways. Only complaint. Peopledonot pick up after their pets. I picked up 9 piles thatdidn'tbelong to my girl.I'm taking pics of offenders and sharing them.

The staff was very friendly and helpful!!! Our family had a wonderful time at the campgrounds!! We'll definitely be visiting KOA again!

We were disappointed with our stay at this KOA. The cabin we stayed in was not swept out well so there were bugs on the bed posts that fell on me when in bed. We were told we could only have 1 vehicle at our cabin but other people add two cars. It sounded like there was a race track nearby so it was very loud at night. There were loud campers that went on way past 10 o’clock. We will not return.

We stayed at this campground because it was about 15 mins away from the Renaissance Faire in Crownsville. (Highly recommend that as well!) We had both a camper and a tent site. The staff was very accommodating by showing us to our sites, blowing leaves and twigs off the tent site and delivering wood right to our fire ring. In our 5 years of campgrounds, this was one of the best! Good times!

Short stay. We pulled in after dark and left right at daylight. Park looked very nice and well kept. We checked in after hours and did have some trouble getting to our site. Manager heard we were having issues and came out to check on us and see if we needed anything. Definitely above and beyond! If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

Thanks for a nice place to camp and hang out for a few days. This campsite is very convenient for us (as far as location goes). So we will be coming back occasionally.

Beautiful KOA - a little hilly for my old bones - great shower rooms. Everything was immaculate & staff couldn't offer to help you enough.

I was very disappointed when they put my kids in a cabin away from us, when I specified that we wanted to be together and was very disappointed they didn't do it.

We stayed at Capitol KOA because the Maryland Seafood Festival was being held at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis. The campground was close to Annapolis which was a huge plus for us. Overall, it was a lovely weekend! The showers were hot and the staff was friendly and fun to speak with.

We stayed three nights doing a little sightseeing. The campground was located perfectly for our return from NYC/Nuberg KOA time and traffic wise. We visited Annapolis as well as Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery and the Space Museum from there. The campground was busy yet quiet and the bathhouse was always clean. They have a very nice store and the staff was friendly and helpful.

No cable tv in the premium sites and horrible wifi. This is the only campground I’ve stayed at that doesn’t have canle tv but costs as much or more than those who do. Wifi would not even download emails. Nice campground but olease join the 21st century.

When booking (2 months prior), we asked for our group to be placed together. We were essentially told that this would not be possible, however there were two available cabins near our group that we could have been booked in. This was a real inconvenience and put a damper on our experience. I think you all should be more amenable in your approach to customer service and accommodation.

Convenient. clean, and well run campground. We stayed to be near the MD Renaissance festival in Crownsville which was very close. Good activities and amenities for our grandson and clean restrooms. Only negative is road noise on adjacent 32 which never seems to stop. Probably not an issue fir folks with RVs and hard sided campers.

We only stayed for one night as we were returning home from a much longer trip. We stayed at site#50…30 amp full hook up pull through. Found this campsite to to be fine for our needs although was unable to successfully level our rig. But it was only for one night, so wasn’t a big deal for us. Store had plenty useful items if needed. Easy on/East off from highway. We would stay there again.

I'm really pleased with finding this little place. Tucked back into the woods and trails makes for a peaceful camp. I'm a working stiff that travels all over and this is definitely a camping campground. I would highly recommend this for rv'rs in the DC area. Super nice setups, friendly and helpful staff and quiet. Really quiet. (there does seem to be a train track within earshot but no horns that I heard) They have a ton of the little tiny house cabins out here with patios and decks(porches) and ubiquitous campground stuff like grills scattered out. Hiking trails and a playground plus a propane station (lifesaver in the winter trust me on this one) All in all I have nothing bad to say about the place and would definitely recommend this to a stranger and friend alike.
