Was another really nice stay. We’ve been coming here three years now for the Halloween weekend specials and have always enjoyed it.

We've been traveling to this KOA for the Halloween festivities for 3 or 4 years... Hands down. It is clear that this property has changed management and is not what it use to be. The Halloween festivities this year were marginal at best... We will not be returning.

Everyone at this KOA was very friendly and professional. Everyone worked as a great team and seemed happy to be there. Kudos to the management for having wonderful staff making my camping experience outstanding. The camp was very clean too.

We stayed end of October so I can not comment on the pool issues. We had a cabin and upon arrival (10pm) the cabin was warm and super clean. Staff were all very respectful and prices both at the store and cabin fees were reasonable (offseason). The staff were above and beyond amazing. WIFI is trash and the HYWY is loud BUT that was our only issues. 10 out of 10!

We love Halloween camping at KOA, however, we were slightly disappointed that they removed some of the usual activities that they have had in previous years. (Pony Rides, rock wall, obstacle course, scavenger hunt, pumpkin contest). We would like to see those return or more activities included for the Halloween weekend. We also prefer the trick or treating to move a little later, maybe 630ish.

We have stayed there once before and it was great! Our last stay this past weekend would have been better if we weren’t on the most uneven site. No matter what we did we could not get leveled as we were on an end site that was on a terrible place. But I would definitely stay there again just never on that one site again.

Wish we could have picked our spot. Tried in the app and it wasn’t working. More bathroom places (a little far at one end for those with potty issues) More advertising of events and rules posted. Some spots could be bigger. Not a lot of space from front door to electrical box of next camp. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about needed help. Grounds well taken care of.Will stay again

Great location. Very clean. Ease of check in and key return. Although we didn’t have available time, there are many activities that looked great for our family to do on site.

The staff was amazing. I really appreciated the sports stuff and space to play and run around. I was extremely disappointed with the bathroom. First I spent $80/night and the place right before this I spent $20/night at a state park and their bathroom was MUCH better. Then the LARGEST spider I've ever seen came up out of the shower drain while I was showering and I had to run out screaming!

Great stay, thank you- Chris the new GM was fantastic! There was a retired Vet there that was also awesome. Most of the staff really was good and appreciate the hospitality. The campground is in need of some maintenance but the staff made up for it. thank you

Enjoyed our stay. Check in clerk Earl at front desk was helpful and quick getting us checked in. Site was close to amenities like we asked. Our patio site BBQ needed to have the tank refilled and staff was prompt to collect it and fill it for us. New Manager Chris stopped by our site to visit and was very friendly. We will def be back!!!

We rented a cabin. The only thing was the distance to the showers/restroom. Otherwise the cabin and grounds were fine. Good burning firewood and friendly staff.

The staff were friendly and the campground was neat and tidy. Significant improvements have been made since our last stay. It is in close proximity to the train which made it easy to travel to DC. We had an enjoyable stay.

I love being able to bring my dogs with me when I travel. I felt very comfortable leaving my chihuahuas in the cabin while visiting the MD Rennasaince Faire. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were lovely.

I've stayed here 2 or 3 times before. I really enjoy staying here as the sites are clean and well prepared. You will have some background noise and if it's recently been raining the bathrooms tend to be muddy, but overall definitely a great place to stay if you're in the DC Metro area.

We had such a great stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Campground and facilities were clean. We especially like the nature trail right on site. We will be back next year for sure.

We LOVED staying at Capitol KOA. We found the facilities extremely clean and the staff incredibly friendly/helpful. We came with a large group for RenFaire and everyone in our group was very pleased with this campground. My husband, son and I stayed in a rustic cabin which was perfect for a couple and a baby.

Super friendly staff willing to help with anything. Right off the freeway and approx 30 miles from downtown Washington DC. We enjoyed walking the campground with our dog. Very pretty setting. Good price on propane!!

This is by far the most expensive campground we have ever stayed in. There was nothing spectacular about it or anything. I guess I am spoiled by the beauty, privacy and hiking trails of state parks.

Campground and facilities were clean. Site was pull-through and fairly level; easy to set up our travel trailer. Access is very difficult from the south unless you are coming from Annapolis; Rtes 3N and I-97 have no direct exit near the campground. Arriving at night, it was difficult to distinguish between the road and the campsites; they were paved with the same gravel and of course no lightin

I'm really pleased with finding this little place. Tucked back into the woods and trails makes for a peaceful camp. I'm a working stiff that travels all over and this is definitely a camping campground. I would highly recommend this for rv'rs in the DC area. Super nice setups, friendly and helpful staff and quiet. Really quiet. (there does seem to be a train track within earshot but no horns that I heard) They have a ton of the little tiny house cabins out here with patios and decks(porches) and ubiquitous campground stuff like grills scattered out. Hiking trails and a playground plus a propane station (lifesaver in the winter trust me on this one) All in all I have nothing bad to say about the place and would definitely recommend this to a stranger and friend alike.
