Cabin heating didn't work properly. Website did not properly advertise how limited the campground would be for the cold months (jumping pillow deflated). When we asked for someone to refill the propane tank that was listed as available for the grill, the man who came to do it was rude and condescending. Also, said slept 8, but didn't state that walkways were blocked when you had that many.

Nice place. Well kept. It was very cold outside so most of the amenities were not available. Probably a fun place in the summer. The store closed at 3:00 which seemed a little early. It is close to home so we will go back.

Very nice staff!! Site was long and easy to get into with our big rig!! Close to shopping, restaurants, food stores. We will definitely be back!!

Sites were smaller than expected. Activities for Halloween weekend were exceptional and creative and fun for our visiting grandchildren. Facilities were clean and well taken care of.

Was in town for a wedding so was gone most of the time, but everything was very clean, especially the bath houses.

Everything was great except that there were quite a few lots available but I was assigned a rather un-level site.

We had a very good seven night stay at the Capitol South KOA. It is just a short 10 minute drive to the Odenton MARC train station which has free parking and just a $14 roundtrip fare to Union Station in D.C. Annapolis is also just a 20 minute drive. Chris, the onsite manager was excellent and very attentive to a couple of needs we had during our stay. We would look to stay here again.

We had a great stay! The new managers were very friendly and helpful. It’s not a fancy campground and there is some noise from the surrounding highways but it is clean and well-maintained. Despite having limited staff due to the off-season, the bathrooms were clean, and the store was well-stocked with essentials. We will definitely be back next year.

MUCH MUCH MUCH better than last visit. Staff was way friendlier and I didn't feel like the kids playing were being judged or watched by the staff like criminals.

Really like this camp ground, site was so I leveled and really challenging to get into spot…I guess paying to secure site is a must here. Upset when level sites sat empty all weekend.

We have a Class A Motorhome and had an overnight stay. We arrived after hours and were met by the manager. He was very personable and escorted us to our site. The park was very clean and the sites were a good size. We did not use the facilities. We would return.

It was a nice campground. It was 30 minutes from Washington DC, but it was easy to get there from this campground. The staff was helpful with parking RV’s in Washington, and very friendly. It was a great place to stay.

We come every Halloween and it is so much fun for the kids and adults. Lots of activities for the kids and we love decorating the site. Very friendly staff and sites are well maintained. This was the first year our friends rented a cabin and they loved it! Very clean and cozy & warm and the beds were comfortable. Next year we have 3 cabins and two RV sites for the whole family and grand kids.

We enjoyed our stay during Halloween weekend. Our kids had fun going on the hayride and trick or treating around the campground. Our deluxe cabin was comfy. The staff were very friendly and helped us when we need additional toilet paper and coffee.

Great Halloween activities for the family. Lots to keep us busy. My favorite was the Hay Scramble, I’ve never heard of that fall activity, but it was so much fun watching the kids participate.

We had fun for the Halloween weekend but I think the camp ground management should pick the costume and site winners. Letting people choose makes it a popularity contest. Not giving everyone a chance. All the other camp grounds we have been to have management pick. Thanks

We would love to have more of the Halloween activities back. If you can't have the rock wall, etc. have additional craft tables or other activities.

We have for several years scheduled a stay at the DC/Capitol KOA for a Halloween weekend with the grandchildren. The campground does a great job of putting together activities for kids, including blocking traffic for an hour on Saturday evening so the kids can safely trick-or-treat at the campsites. And most of the campsites are decorated and passing out candy.

Nothing is level. Sites alway empty and wouldn’t let me move. I was so upset I was in tears. I wanted to move 1 site over”no we are fully booked” I was there 2 weeks and that site was empty except 3 nights. I felt in the lower level I was a 3 rd class citizen

We've been traveling to this KOA for the Halloween festivities for 3 or 4 years... Hands down. It is clear that this property has changed management and is not what it use to be. The Halloween festivities this year were marginal at best... We will not be returning.

Everyone at this KOA was very friendly and professional. Everyone worked as a great team and seemed happy to be there. Kudos to the management for having wonderful staff making my camping experience outstanding. The camp was very clean too.

We stayed end of October so I can not comment on the pool issues. We had a cabin and upon arrival (10pm) the cabin was warm and super clean. Staff were all very respectful and prices both at the store and cabin fees were reasonable (offseason). The staff were above and beyond amazing. WIFI is trash and the HYWY is loud BUT that was our only issues. 10 out of 10!

We love Halloween camping at KOA, however, we were slightly disappointed that they removed some of the usual activities that they have had in previous years. (Pony Rides, rock wall, obstacle course, scavenger hunt, pumpkin contest). We would like to see those return or more activities included for the Halloween weekend. We also prefer the trick or treating to move a little later, maybe 630ish.

Older facility but is very well maintained and in constant upgrading. Super friendly staff. Easy in and out.

Very welcoming staff! Everyone was friendly, kind, and made you feel right at home. Nice spacious area, not overly crowded with RV sites.

Excellent location, close to Fort Meade, they have cottages and a tiny house, staff were very helpful. Location is convenient.
