We were there only 1 night on the way home to NJ but it was a very nice site & we're planning on coming back so we can visit Annapolis

Great place to stay if wanting to visit DC. We were nearby to Odenton Station & took the MARC Train into DC for $7 each way ($3.50 for seniors over 65). Very convenient. This KOA was quiet this time of year (last wk in March). Will come back with our Grandchildren next year. Site was across from the playground & store. Had no problems w/ the complimentary WiFi. Our 2nd stay here. Great Staff.

We were super impressed with the upkeep of the grounds. Things were clearly marked, the store was awesome. I would highly recommend. We will be staying with KOA again.

It was out opening weekend and this KOA was close and served our needs. I enjoyed the nature trail and sites were clean.

Our stay was wonderful. The campground is for people passing through and it gave us everything we needed. I would love if the camp store was better stocked food wand drink wise. The staff were absolutely lovely! They were so friendly and helpful and gave us lots of laughs.

We reserved this site well ahead and when we arrived nobody had turned on the water. Nobody could turn it on but the manager. Unacceptable in my opinion. They said possible freezing could occur.. but the temperatures did not indicate that. Bathrooms were not cleaned daily. Just not as pleasant of an experience as our first visit. We did like the spot we were in and they did offer to move us.

I emailed to let the KOA know we would be arriving late and there wasn’t a response. When we got there, our packet wasn’t ready when checking in late. Our campsite had piled up leaves, over accumulating leaves, which I get we are in an outdoor area but clearing some leaves would’ve been nice. The bathrooms were dirty with trash on the floors.

Great location relative to DC. Everything was clean and nice! Kids wished the pillow would have been operating and that the pool table had balls.

Over all the stay was good. We were looking forward to the campground amenities, I called ahead to be sure we could rent the bikes because our kids were excited about those and the pillow however we saw online the pillow would be down for the season still so that was understandable, we were disappointed to find out all the bikes were also out of service. Especially since I called and asked before.

We did an overnight at Capitol KOA on our way home to CT. The campground was well kept and tbe staff was helpful and friendly. We will come back here on our next visit to the DC area for a longer stay.

The store is only open from 9-5. I'd recommend they extend their hours until 7 or 8.

Very efficient check in. Friendly staff. Bathrooms were clean. Campground was spacious and wide. Location is so easy between DC, Baltimore and Annapolis.

After a grueling road trip to Millersville (there was lots of traffic coming from New Jersey) we finally arrived at "our destination"..The Washington DC KOA. It was still daylight, so we got to see how nice your camp looked. Clean and tidy. Inside, the cabin was clean and tidy as well. I was very pleased when the thermostat was efficient and we got heat immediately. Coming back on 3/28

We arrived when office was closed. Paperwork was ready for us and a staff member welcomed us. That was very nice. The campground was clean and offered alot of activities available for guests. Location was good. Close to downtown Annapolis, shops and restaurants. The campground was neighboring a highway so traffic noise remained even through the night.

We had a satisfying and comfortable overnight stay here. Staff are efficient and the campground is well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

It was nice that the staff suggested a site that would be less muddy than I would otherwise select. It was annyoying that my site had no power the second night of booking. Not a big deal for me, as I was car camping, but if I had a tent, and take it down and put it back up at a nearby site with electric in the dark, that would suck(freezing tempatures). Hooks over men's sinks mounted upside down.

Very nice koa. I didn’t realize your koa location was about a hour outside of DC so I only stayed one of the two nights of my reservation otherwise it would have added two hours to my trip home. So 180 $ ended up being what we paid for one night. :(

I only spend one night in transit between Virginia and New Jersey but every time I've stayed there has been fine. I've met one person who works there and he was very nice.

We were arriving after hrs. on a snowy evening in Jan.The office had our check in papers in the after hrs. box. Instructions were clear as to where our site was & other useful information. The bathrooms were clean & warm. The next day the staff was busy plowing the campground. They took the time to help us with a car problem.

Nice campground with a huge pool, perfect for a cool down after touring DC all day. Location is close to the Marc Penn train station, Odenton. Nice dog run area and woods walking trail. Staff were extra nice too:)

I don't normally leave reviews. What I can say about KOA is the staff is wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. My only complaint as the size of the site that we were given. We have a 32 foot motorhome, and no matter where I put the motorhome on the Pull through site, there was not enough room to park my car behind the motorhome. It was a good thing that the office was right across from me. I could park my Jeep there overnight. My only other complaint, due to the width of the site, my neighbor's sewage hookup was extremely close to the corner of the picnic table (see photo). If you were looking for a site with more room, I suggest you go down the hill. Again, Great people, clean park, nice amenities for the kids.
