What a great place to stay so close to DC! 10 minutes to the MARC train into Union Station. Nice level sites, great laundry. Really nice staff, too! Nice little dog park and fairly quiet for being so close to the highway.

My husband and I stayed in a no frills cabin. For the amount of money we paid it was fine. Next time we would definitely go for one with a bathroom. The older you are the more frequent you have to visit the bathroom during the night. I thought the campground was really nice - bathrooms clean and individual showers were nice also. All the personnel working there were very friendly and helpful.

Camping at this KOA for over 15 years. Always a good time. Staff friendly and grounds clean. Friends rented cabin 131 this time and they left at night and came back in the morning. They said the cabin was full of old cob webs and spiders everywhere and didn't feel comfortable sleeping. I wish they would have taken my advice and told management. I'm sure they would have had the cabin cleaned.

Nice place but the store opened at 10:00 and closed at 4:00 every day. Was closed by the time we got back from touring.

I was glad to stay there while I attended a conference in Baltimore. The only negative thing I have to say is that on the last day, the hot water went out of the shower and I had to resort to other means to get clean for the day.

Shady, drive through sites. Quiet and clean. Short drive to the train, so not bothered by the shuttle not running yet. Unusual that the office staff were not more familiar with the area.

The staff is fantastic and while go out of their way to help you when required. The location is very convenient to visit DC, BAltimore, and Annapolis. They no longer have the shuttle running into DC and I missed that. The campgrounds is well maintained and clean and also very quiet, WE enjoyed our week long stay very much and could not have asked for more.

Many camp sites were on a hill and not flat, but the area was big and clean and great customer service.

Traffic noise, dog park was small and no drainage, golf carts were loud and constantly driving through sites next to us. The rest of the stay was very nice.

Very nice campground. Clean and the sites were nicely spread out. One drawback was the steep curb on the site, but that was minor.

Staff was very helpful and nice to work with while I was there. Located right outside of DC and there are a lot of stores and restaurants in the nearby area. The commute into DC completely depends on traffic! The facilities are very nice and clean. I hope to get back here again in the future.

Clean bathrooms, nice laundry facilities and friendly staff. We had a RV mechanical problem and the staff helped connect us to services to help.

Camp grounds are very close to 2 highways. Pretty noisy at evening and night for camping in a tent.

Excellent service. came unannounced a day before & they managed to provide me with a temporary space. Unannounced but I had called several times & no-one answered phone explained by staff shortage at time. Also made prompt changes to stay/departure dates without hassle. Thank you to KOA staff for a good stay in terrible rainy weather.

Well apportioned campgrounds that is very close to DC, Baltimore and Annapolis. Staff was very helpful and nice. This is an expensive area to stay, but is the most reasonably priced camp experience in the NCR region

Very clean campsite. The bath house was better than expected. The staff was very friendly. I had the cabin with no bathroom, kitchen, or TV. I know not to ever book that ever again. I was by myself so I didn't want to book a big cabin, but next time I won't care about that. I didn't like the smell and a gigantic spider was in there. Big gap under door for more creepy crawlers to come in.

Everyone is awesome �ϸ folks at front desk and folks in golf carts go out of their way to help you. Excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this campground. I’m here for medical reasons and Kim did her best to accommodate me for our stay. This is our first time RVing we will be back. Thank you everyone at capital KOA much love to you all! Debbie and Jim

-The deluxe cabin was beautiful. Sadly, left early because of black mold on bathroom ceiling. Was promptly refunded for that night without asking. -Thought linens included for all beds, just not the queen (which was super comfy). Had to run home for additional sheets and blankets. -The people riding around on carts were fabulous!! The 2 older women at the store could be nicer.

We rode motorcycle in about 7 hours of rain and the manager stayed later to make sure we got to our campsite and we were settled in. Love the site and layout. It was great having a laundry mat to dry our clothes and the hot shower helped for sure. Friendly staff and very helpful will stay here again.

This is our 2nd visit... my granddaughter goes to college in DC. so we stop on our return from FL to visit and take her out to dinner, as well as, bring home some of her heavier items, where it's "end of school year"! The KOA is nicely positioned, away fro the city, yet not so far as to make it difficult to access the the schools and historical sites, etc. The campground facilities are excellent!

Excellent campground. Very clean. Separate shower stalls with locking doors. No quarters needed. Great sites for any rig or tents. Cabin rentals too. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Hiking trail too. So glad we found it. A real Gem.

Hr at Location and nature trail are big positives. Negatives include very weak power (cant use a drip coffee maker and microwave at same time on 30amp site). Wifi is very poor with no options even for paid upgrades

Very quiet, which is very important to me. I used one of the camper back in sites and there were no other campers within 100 feet of my site.

Very nice, clean campground with friendly and helpful staff. Located only minutes from trains serving Baltimore & Washington DC and a short drive to Annapolis. We've stayed here twice, once in 2011 and again in 2023, and had great experiences each time.

Great KOA situated close to all of the Washington DC attractions. Metrorail station located about 5 miles away, great way to tour the capital. Super friendly and helpful staff. Sites are nice, wide and level. Another great stay.

Not sure how they can call it Washington DC KOA without a shuttle to the train station. You’re basically 2 hours away from DC after waiting for Lyft drivers and coordinating with the train schedule.

Older facility but is very well maintained and in constant upgrading. Super friendly staff. Easy in and out.

Very welcoming staff! Everyone was friendly, kind, and made you feel right at home. Nice spacious area, not overly crowded with RV sites.

Excellent location, close to Fort Meade, they have cottages and a tiny house, staff were very helpful. Location is convenient.
