Great site, great staff, great store. Great shower/.bath house. The only thing that you could have done better is in the shower area. I think there were 6 showers? One was marked with a handicap sign and it was perhaps 6 inches wider than the others? To be a really good ADA type shower it needed to be at least a foot wider with more benches for clothes and places to sit to get dressed easier

It is a very nice campgrounds with friendly and helpful staff. The highway is very close and noisy at times. The location is far enough out of DC to make it expensive without a tow vehicle.

Chris and his staff are taking this property and improving it everyday. We have stayed here for a little over a month and stored a little longer than that and had a great time. The park is close to Maryland MARC train service right to downtown DC and is very close to Baltimore and Annapolis as well. Compared to other facilities, the park is very reasonably priced. Thanks Capital KOA.

Clean facilities and park! Friendly people. Wish the did not charge per dog, per day. Doesn't seem necessary to us; have had this at hotels, not campgrounds ever; with rates already high, just very surprised with extra charge.

We stay at this site every year. We are a large group. The staff are very friendly, accommodating. We look forward to seeing our KOA friends. Unfortunately we were not allowed to reserve our sites for the same time next year.this change from koa policy in the past may have us seeking other places outside of KOA. As well as canceling our KOA membership.

The staff was very professional. Friendly, Courteous and polite is the best way I can describe the staff. The facilities were clean and accessible. We had a blast with the family as my Brother also rented a cabin for his family. Their only complaint was the thin mattresses on the beds in the cabin. Maybe they will bring air mattresses next time. My suggestion to them as it is Camping.

I have a group of adults that have stayed here for the past 3 years. We have always been able to reserve 4 Cabins and 2 tent sites. This year we were told we couldn’t reserve until after August 1st. We are very upset and may not be going back here for our 4th year Get Together. We have always been able to reserve for the following year as we check out. It’s guaranteed money for this KOA.

We really enjoyed our camping experience at this KOA. Our site #36 was nice and level everyone we spoke to was friendly. The location was great lots fast food places and gas stations near by. We will be returning at the end of June for two weeks. We did not use any of the activities, but everything we saw was clean. We will be back in a month for two weeks.

The campground is far from Washington downtown. We had a very serious issue with a neighbour who made noise all day long. Thanks to the manager who was very good to manage this issue!

Our stay was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The cabin was great. Our only complaint would be those campers that have no campground etiquette and were still loud at midnight. (But that isn't the campground's fault) Stores and necessities aren't far from the campground. It is one we have written down as a yes we would stay here again!

They did accommodate our same-day request for an overnight stay. The sites were right, our neighbor had his outdoor tv so loud it triggered a migraine and I went inside the camper for the night

Unfortunately, we had a person across from us who played loud music and had a noisy Harley. We asked to be moved, but it was not possible. Although the manager did come and explained. We had made this reservation months ago, so disappointed that we didn’t have a better spot. Internet very weak. Had to go up the hill to get service.

I had not realized how many amenities were available which is a positive attraction. The hookups were easily accessed, the campground clean and quiet, the spaces easily found using the excellent map provided. My only complaint would be the space we got was unlevel with a decline; since we were in a Sprinter van we had no leveling jacks and I did not expect to need leveling plates in a campground

Stayed May 18-21; site 14. Nice campground and we experienced no issues. Fortunately, the temperature was mild and with no shade available until after 6:30, it was fine. Had it been really hot, I would have asked to move. Otherwise, all good. Getting to the campground from the south is a bit weird i will say.

Very nice campgroung. A lot of woods. Very nice employees. Too bas the pool wasn't opened yet. Bring your cash to do the laundry, they don't have the option to withdraw money with their interac machine

Unfriendly hosts zoning around in golf carts. No waving or smiling when they go by. Staff had their own dogs and weren't very nice dogs. Basketball at 7:30 am. Jam packed spaces. No room

We loved it so much. It is a very quiet place amidst a busy city. We stayed in a Cabin and it was just perfect for us to relax for 3 days. Very helpful and friendly staff. Civilized neighbors. I will keep and renew my membership our future escapades. Thank you KOA.

Very nice staff but please when you book & lead to the site understand what a Big Rig needs not only for a site but about the turn radius to get in/out of the site. Our escort wanted to take us down & around the office but with the curb, large rocks, camper & truck parked across the road there was no way we could swing the turn. Had to leave the CG & turn around to get in & back out to leave

It was amazing, the park is well-equipped with all the amenities that we wanted. One thing we were counting on was the shuttle service (mentioned in 2022 which was what I was going on) but that service was removed from 2023's campground directory. We had to rent a car to go out. That was only a small inconvenience though, the rest of the stay was fantastic. I highly recommend this campground!

No activities pool closed. Activity for mother’s Day was excellent for kids but not well publicized - every arrival should be handed a paper with more detail. Pizza delivery from outside was prompt.

Brought 5 yr old grandson & had a good time. Playground equipment well suited for this age group. Think the $6 per 1/2 hour rental on the bike too high...stayed 5 nights & only saw them being used 1 time....should be an indication.

I loved the camp ground but tgecregunded me for cabin I rented as it was not desirable, stunk to high heaven But my daughter rented a spot with her camper and we loved it The staff here is amazing

Excellent location, close to Fort Meade, they have cottages and a tiny house, staff were very helpful. Location is convenient.
