Nice campground. The back dumpster was very full though and wasn’t emptied during our stay. We paid for a premium site, but the site wasn’t level. Paying for a premium pull through site, I expected to not have to level so much. There was a grill on site, but when we used it, it got indulged in flames. I am guessing it was full of grease prior to us getting there. Couldn’t use it to cook anyt

Bathrooms were disgusting. Unflushed toilets that were a surprise when one seeks a clean toilet. Most lots have no trees so it is more like a storage lot for RVs. I came to camp and be with trees!!! If you do not need sewer, be sure to get an electric/water only site because it makes a big difference in price.

RV site had no shade. Very close together. Restrooms were clean but old. Shower water pressure was very low. Staff very friendly.

I was only passing through for one night, but the campground was nice. I was having some power issues that were like a rolling brown-out, but it was incredibly hot and the campground was full.

My stay was good. The way you all take care of it is very nice. However, I think it would be a lot nicer if when a storm in comes things were covered and put away. The pool table was better taking care of. The corn hole bean bags were put away. Everything is left out . It just makes it look bad when not taken care of. The pool was great.

Very nice, wooded sites in a peaceful location. Sites are a little close together. Very clean bathhouses with individual locking shower stalls. A pleasant stay!

We recently moved to Delaware from Maryland and need a place with our RV to stay on occasion when we are in town. Your KOA is clean and very well maintained. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Absolutely amazing stay!!!! From the time we got there, to the time we left, the staff were amazing, always nice, friendly and very welcoming. We had our water spigot break, and the staff were able to fix it within 30min. New line from the ground, new valve fixed it like nothing even happened. 10/10 would recommend staying at a KOA especially this one!!!

The KOA had lots for kids to do and reasonably price laundry. Although it is near roads, the noise level was low. No nearby trains that we heard, which is a positive for tent camping. Only negative was that the power to our refrigerator cooler was off and on. It is brand new and worked fine on the 16 hour drive there. At the site the power was off and on?? Had to throw away our food for safety.

Park was well kept but the mess along with it was crazy. Within an hour we had 3 people in a full out brawl outside our camper. They almost hit several people in their cars. Prior to this they had been smoking marijuana in the front parking lot, within 20 feet of the park office, for well over an hour. Our kids got talked to more about taking a football on the bounce pad and doing flips.

very good stay, but unpleasantly surprised by an extra charge for the cargo trailer we were towing with our RV! never been charged for this at your campground before.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. A beautiful and clean environment. Best KOA I've seen! Lots of wonderful shade and privacy. I loved my stay, I hope to do it again!

Quiet well kept camp. Only thing I might suggest is that it might be time to replace some shower curtains as the one had a lot of black mold on it

We were there for Father’s Day weekend and the place was great! Staff were friendly and seen often driving around checking on things, delivering firewood, etc. Bathrooms and showers were very clean although I do wish they had air conditioning. We would definitely recommend Capitol KOA!

Stayed here 3years in a row. The bathrooms are not as clean as they used to be. I also needed to leave 2 hours after checkout and the staff would not work with me to accommodate this. I was willing to move my small pop up trailer anywhere on site but i was forced to buy another night to leave late. when i picked up my trailer the camp was over half empty. this request was accommodated last year.

This KOA has clean bathrooms with nice toilets, electric sockets, and clean showers. I have stayed in the tent area, and the sites are big, and it is nicer than a cheap hotel. The big selling point of this KOA is that it is 4 miles from a lot for a train that takes you to downtown DC for $7 to see concerts and museums. The free lot and train is far cheaper than the $40 lots in DC try to charge.

Overall nice campground. Mixture of nice and rude staff. If you have children that want to swim, and you don’t want get in with them, this place isn’t for you. The on-duty lifeguard apparently isn’t there for any reason except to make sure there’s an adult in the pool with kids. I was told that I must get in the pool even after my kids, 5 and 8, passed the lifeguard’s “swim test”.

We had a good stay at the DC/Capitol KOA - convenient location from which to visit DC (via the Greenbelt Metro line), Baltimore, and Annapolis. Nice showers and clean bathrooms.

Campsite nice, shady, location to Crownsville for music festival fantastic, front desk staff very nice, 3 bundles of wood for $20 great. However, the equipment for activities could use a huge update. Pool table outside terrible shape, ping pong table poor shape, basketball peeling apart, no grip, overall, equipment needs more care and replaced. Also, the bikes should be included and not rental

Nice campground with a huge pool, perfect for a cool down after touring DC all day. Location is close to the Marc Penn train station, Odenton. Nice dog run area and woods walking trail. Staff were extra nice too:)

I don't normally leave reviews. What I can say about KOA is the staff is wonderful, and the grounds are well kept. My only complaint as the size of the site that we were given. We have a 32 foot motorhome, and no matter where I put the motorhome on the Pull through site, there was not enough room to park my car behind the motorhome. It was a good thing that the office was right across from me. I could park my Jeep there overnight. My only other complaint, due to the width of the site, my neighbor's sewage hookup was extremely close to the corner of the picnic table (see photo). If you were looking for a site with more room, I suggest you go down the hill. Again, Great people, clean park, nice amenities for the kids.
