Nice campground. From the literature I was expecting a small stream, rather than the huge bay at the mouth of the Alsea, but I can live with that. Proprietor was nice enough to allow us to move to a more sheltered pull-through, during a howling gale with torrential rain, so we could depart quietly in the morning without bothering other campers.

Campground clean. Check in folks friendly. Store is well stocked. Bathrooms clean. Wonderful camping KOA!

The sites are clean and well maintained. The showers need updating and removing the button that needs to be hit every 15 seconds (yes, I timed it.). Very annoying. Better hooks that hold items better would be very helpful. A bench to sit on to aid in dressing would require a remodel due to not enough space, but a remodel would be a good thing.

Staff VERY helpful to a "newbie". Weather did not cooperate so got lots of reading & some visiting in the lounge / game room. I intend a return trip with friends

Such a nice friendly staff, and beautiful campsite, in a convient area for touring around. Wish I hadn't made reservations for tonight, or I would have stayed another night!

The “hedges” ( bushes) are pretty and well kept but they do limit the space available for parking bigger rvs. The parking of bigger rvs is quite a challenge The folks there are super nice and the park is clean and looks great.

It was a nice park to stay at, clean sites, very clean restrooms, nice little convenient store. Easy access to newport and nice views of alsea bay.

Did the pull thru thing and it's a little narrow plenty of room for your rig and slides but not a lot of room for people and chairs. The back ins had a lot more room. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.

We love staying there very nice clean camp. Showers are very clean. Laundry room was clean. Staff is very friendly. We are looking forward to our next trip.

It was a great place to stay. We’ve been to other KOAs where people are allowed to live there and it is very trashy. We haven’t stayed at a KOA for years because of that. This one was clean and you really wouldn’t know there were permanent residents there. There was a bit of a situation and when I told the office about it, they immediately fixed the problem. Clean, quiet, easy too navigate. Owners/hosts very personable and helpful. The hiking trail access to the bay was quite overgrown, narrowing, and nearly impassable; could use a machete trim. Otherwise, very pleasant facilities. Highly recommend dining at Allred's in Newport overlooking the Pacific Ocean 14 miles north of the KOA; Five Stars! *****

Pretty well stocked store considering they were renovating. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again if I find myself in the area.

The best stay ever. Don in the office and his wife were amazing! went way beyond customer service. we forgot our lounge chairs and he went into newport on an errand for his wife and got us 2 chairs. we of course paid him, but that was exceptional service. we will definately be back

This is our second time here. Such a special place - we have made this our "go-to" place on the Oregon coast. Except for one rainy morning, the weather was perfect. Like being in a little seaside village. We will be back.

We stayed for a week. We had a gorgeous view of the bay and bridge. We had great weather everyday but one. That we refered to as a baby hurricane. A transformer blew in the middle of the night and we lost power, so we had no heat. As fast as it blew there were people there in no time and had it fixed. The people that worked at the KOA are super friendly and the whole park is very clean. A++++

Nice stay at this KOA. We had a view of the water. Spot were good size and easy to get into. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and tidy campground, appreciate that the bathroom & showers are all in separate entrances, we had site 30 and it was very nice, only complaint is that the shrubs on the side of the sites don't run all the way to the fence, very nice koa, staff seemed super nice, short walk to waldport over the bridge. The rec room is very nice.
