We've been staying at Waldport KOA for many years and hope to stay many more! The staff is exceptional, especially the front desk, they always go above and beyond. Campground is well kept and clean. Sites are cleaned quickly after campers leave. Location is near perfect and convenient for travels up and down the coast or just enjoying the beautiful view of the Alsea Bay.

This was a terrible KOA the bathhouse was filthy with mold & mildew in the shower. curtain was filthy the water from the shower pan did not drain properly ran onto the floor and pooled so I couldn’t use any electrical appliances in fear of electrocution. The space we were in had no grass it was pea gravel and had some kind of goathead stickers all over that was tracked into the camper. Awful sta

This KOA is one of our favorite stops when in the coast. This time we had a site that backed up to the bay so the views were spectacular. The park is well kept, long sites and a great K-9 Kamp dog park

Well maintained camp ground, sites are very narrow,not many public trails near campground except the one to the beach which was nice. Only one set of restrooms but clean.

All in all it's a good koa the bathroom could use a deep cleaning, several stalls smelled of pee? Other then than its a well maintained campground and location is good for nearby activities

We arrived pretty late and our envelope was easy to find and so was our space! The camp hosts were lovely. The store was well stocked. The campground was quiet enough that we could hear the waves on the beach. And the trail to the bay was so nice for our pups!

Great spot, easy to get to Newport and Waldport. Having the dog park was really nice as well, plenty of space for zoomies. The store is cute, and everyone was friendly. My only small ding was the bathroom wasn’t particularly clean, but I only used it once, so it may have been cleaned right after. We will be back!

Called to ask if we could have a site near the people we were travelling with. Was told none available, except that the site right next to our travel partners was empty the entire time we were there. Bathrooms were nice, area was clean, hosts were not super friendly.

I was in 72 and the hook ups are crazy they were so far apart from each other that i couldn;t reach my water hoop up. glad i had plenty of water in my on board tank

Klean Kuiet Kampsite on bluff overlooking Alsea Bay. Full functional hookups, low vehicle traffic. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Staff welcoming with well stocked store at check in. Pet stations thru campus, fenced dog area, easy in and out access and located near Waldport. Newport 25 minutes north with easy drive. We had good access for our Starlink.

Nice campground. From the literature I was expecting a small stream, rather than the huge bay at the mouth of the Alsea, but I can live with that. Proprietor was nice enough to allow us to move to a more sheltered pull-through, during a howling gale with torrential rain, so we could depart quietly in the morning without bothering other campers.

The sites are clean and well maintained. The showers need updating and removing the button that needs to be hit every 15 seconds (yes, I timed it.). Very annoying. Better hooks that hold items better would be very helpful. A bench to sit on to aid in dressing would require a remodel due to not enough space, but a remodel would be a good thing.

Staff VERY helpful to a "newbie". Weather did not cooperate so got lots of reading & some visiting in the lounge / game room. I intend a return trip with friends

They had several things they offered this weekend (4th of July, 2026) like a kids parade, free ice cream sundaes and s'mores and the little store is pretty reasonable for what I have come to expect. All the staff are friendly and have been very happy to help with any questions we have had. We will have to return soon to enjoy the views and this beautiful little town.

Stopped in for just one night on our road trip. Took the trail from the KOA to the beach and stumbled upon some amazing views and a great Italian restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the beach. Would stay again!
