I identified a water leak and was asked to move to another cabin. I moved so the workers could they get their job done. When I went to the office to get a new car pass, the employee said “it’s not like we scheduled the water leak”. No one offered to compensate me for my troubles. i will be exploring other options outside of KOA.

We have camped here before and thoroughly enjoy the area. The cabin was great overlooking the bay. It was clean except for a few dust bunnies on the ceiling. We did have a problem with the bathroom sink draining slow.

Had a wonderful 3 night stop over in a lodge cabin during our family vacation. The park itself met our KOA expectations. The cabin was a great refuge from our rainy adventures. The only negative would be the odd response received when we notified the manager of the non-working tv in the cabin.

The low recommendation number is that I don't randomly offer travel advice--if the question had in it, ". . .if you were ASKED. . ." I would say 8! I had Cabin #3 and even when the heater dial was fully "up", it would only heat for about 1 minute out of every 20--brrrrr!!! It's a good facility. One plug-in available in 2024? Aren't restrooms supposed to have a changing chair in shower areas?

Nice clean campground with beautiful views of the bay. Nature trail to beach needs a little maintenance to trim bushes build steps onto beach.

Very beautiful view of the Waldport bridge, the camp ground was very well kept up. Amanda was an awesome host. I changed my accommodations at the last minute and she handled it like a champ ! I will definitely stay here again.

Deluxe cabin was very comfortable and had nice amenities. Was a perfect fit for our family camping at Thanksgiving time. Will definitely return again

check in was easy, we were able to upgrade our reservation to a larger cabin, beautiful setting next to the bridge to Waldport and overlooking the bay

Heater didn’t work well in room didn’t come on when returning in evening after turning off and a few times started working occasionally fridge missing rod on door for beverage holder needed defrosting build up of ice on freezer kept door from closing on freezer service was good room needs more cleaning on floors dusting standard maintenance heater and fridge

Great little campground! The grounds were clean, facilities well maintained and boats were friendly and helpful. The only down side was the very bright street light situated in the middle of the grounds. I assume it’s for safety, but didn’t really feel the need for it. We have blackout curtains on our windows but had we not, it would have been really intrusive. Otherwise perfect stay!

Stayed in a deluxe cabin. Lovely deck looking out on the water. Even though right off HwY 101 and the Waldport Bridge was very quiet at night. We stayed 2 nights and spent our rest day walking the beach and exploring the shops in Newport.

We had a really nice stay. A memory foam mattress in our camping cabin would have made it a perfect 5 stars! Lol

The kabins are great. It's heated, has a mini fridge, and TV with VCR. The store has VHS and bundles of wood. The store is great for everything you forgot. You can always see seals walking over the bridge to Waldport. The staff was great and even mailed me my earrings that I left in the Kabin! Thanks so much!

Stayed in a nice cabin. It was located right next to entrance and highway so there was a lot of road noise. Restroom/shower accommodations were nicer than other koa’s. Lots of rvs. Only extra wa Steve kids playground. Conveniently located to towns and bay but not my favorite KOA

We are off Highway 101, so at times there is road noise, does quiet down at night. Sorry this was an annoyance. I am not sure what Steve kids playground is-but we do have a playground for all kids. Hope you enjoyed the beautiful view.

They had alot of accomodations for kids and our kids had a blast. Also, the bathrooms were really clean and well-lit, I felt fine walking to them in the middle of the night with no flashlight. Would definitely stay again

Too many rules. No fires after 10. No visitors. No smoking. It's alright if you just want somewhere to sleep.

We are a "public place", so it is illegal to smoke Marijuana on our property. We do have a "No Visitors Policy". Everyone on the campground must be a registered guest. Yes, we do have rules. As you stated at check in they are pretty standard and just common sense. Sorry we did not work out for you.

Check in and out was easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a peaceful and quiet stay. The view from our cabin was amazing. Accommodations were nice, however the bunk mattresses not so comfortable. We will be back!

It's so beautiful, clean and friendly. The one thing that would make our stay better would be a closer dishwashing station. We were in cabin 25 at the far end of the park.

We absolutely love staying at this location. The cabin has everything we need, it’s always so peaceful and relaxing and surrounded by plenty of adventure nearby. The staff there are always kind and welcoming, even the store cat is a staple to our visits. We always consider this place our home away from home.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it far exceeded our expectations. Cabin was clean and well maintained. Our view of the bay/bridge was amazing. We spent a lot of time outside near the fire just gazing at beauty of the area. Highly recommend!

Great staff! Clean cabin, bathroom & grounds. location is amazing! this part of the coast is beautiful! so it was a nice place to sleep and adventure during the day. The Sat/Sun breakfast sandwiches to buy were a nice option. Feedback - need build bathroom w/o showers. ( only two). multiple time long waits over use of 2 only toilet. Cabins K8-10 no privacy so close, others have partial fence.

Friendly staff. Campground is quite crowded and unless you have a site right at the waterfront there’s no way to just view unless you go down to the beach. We had lots of ants in our cabin as well. Stocked camp store was great! No extras or kids activities besides the playground - good base point to explore the local area but will not be on my list to revisit.

Summer time is our busiest time of year. The park is usually full. Winter and Spring is not as busy. If you experience a problem during your stay, we would appreciate knowing so we have an opportunity to correct it. We are a campground, so sometimes ants or spiders will enter the cabins. Thank you.

Our bathrooms are individual bathrooms, not the dorm style. If the door is locked, then someone is in it. Sorry we did not work out for you.

As always we love staying at KOA Waldport. Great place, friendly staffs and clean place. Just one suggestion that hopefully the trail going at the bay is a bit wider �

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
