Enjoy thousands of lights in elaborate displays throughout the campground, all synchronized to your favorite holiday tunes using your car radio. After the show, the fun has only just begun, because included in your ticket price is admission to the Christmas Village.

1. Lights, Lights, Lights

As you drive through The Lights of Christmas, you’ll see hundreds of thousands of lights dancing along to holiday music you can enjoy from the safety of your car. Spot familiar scenes of Santa’s helpers busy at work, angels leaping for joy, and a breathtaking tunnel of lights. 

2. A Towering Christmas Tree

Spot the biggest Christmas tree in Virginia Beach while you’re driving through the show. Towering at 40 ft. tall and dancing along to your favorite tunes, this totally unique tree is a sight you don’t want to miss. 

3. The Christmas Village

After the light show, take time to create a unique holiday experience for the whole family in the Christmas Village, right in the middle of the Lights of Christmas. You can buy from local food trucks like Sissy's, and a variety of gifts made by local artisans. Kids can write letters to Santa and send the letters themselves using our North Pole mailbox. Check the schedule -- they might even see an appearance by Santa or the Grinch! Be sure to come in your holiday best to take portraits for family Christmas cards at our festive photo booths. FAQ’s About The Lights of Christmas

When Are The Lights of Christmas Open?

The light show runs through January 2, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays Sunday through Thursday, and until 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday. The Lights of Christmas will have special New Year's Eve activities on December 31. 

Where Is The Lights of Christmas Located?

The Lights of Christmas and the Christmas Village can be found at the Virginia Beach KOA Holiday. Enter on the backside of KOA at 101 KOA Lane (off Prosperity Road) in Virginia Beach.

How Much Is This Event?

Guests who are staying in a campsite or cabin at the campground can enjoy the event for FREE during their stay, and get a FREE fast-pass to the front of the line. Otherwise, The Lights of Christmas costs $25 per carload and includes the Christmas Village in the admission price. For military, the rate is $20 per vehicle. Oversized vehicles require an additional fee. Admission can be paid upon arrival in exact change or with credit/bank cards, or online in advance at

Who Is TK Lighting?

The Lights of Christmas is presented by TK Lighting LLC. Owned by Trey Eichenberg and his wife Kenzie, this veteran-operated and family-run business is based out of the little town of Lusk, Wyoming. Trey is a U.S. Army veteran with a passion for Christmas and family. He and his wife first met at the Virginia Beach KOA, and they can't wait to share this unique holiday experience with the families of Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads. The Lights of Christmas is the perfect way to end 2020 on a positive note.
