Start a new tradition and get ready for the best holiday light display Virginia Beach has to offer! The show runs daily through December 31, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Few things spread joy and cheer like the sight of twinkling lights. Join us for our 3rd Annual Lights of Christmas drive-thru light display and holiday village, right at Virginia Beach KOA Holiday

Enjoy thousands of lights in elaborate displays throughout the campground, all synchronized to your favorite holiday tunes using your car radio. After the show, check out the Christmas Village - included in your ticket price - with activities the whole family will love. We will have local food trucks and gift vendors, delicious hot chocolate around the campfire, and more to kickstart your holiday season with Christmas cheer.

1. Drive-Through Virginia Beach Holiday Lights 

As you drive through The Lights of Christmas, you’ll see hundreds of thousands of lights dancing along to holiday music you can enjoy from the safety of your car. Spot familiar scenes of Santa’s helpers busy at work, angels leaping for joy, and a breathtaking tunnel of lights. Our KOA presents a wonderful display each year as one of the best Virginia Beach Holiday Light shows out there!

2. A Towering Christmas Tree Surrounded by Lights

Spot the biggest Christmas tree in Virginia Beach while you’re driving through the show. Towering at 40 ft. tall and dancing along to your favorite tunes, this totally unique tree is a sight you don’t want to miss. 

3. The Christmas Village 

After the light show, take time to visit the Christmas Village, right in the middle of all the action! You can check out the local food trucks and a variety of gifts made by local artisans. Kids can write letters to Santa and send the letters themselves using our North Pole mailbox. There might even be an appearance from Santa or the Grinch! Be sure to come in your holiday best to take holiday portraits at our festive photo booths. Stay warm at our community campfire or grab a delicious cup of hot chocolate. 

New for 2022 - Experience the magic of The Lights of Christmas by wagon! Wagon rides run Friday-Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. through December 31. Tickets can be purchased online for $15 per person! 4. Charity Donations for Care Camps 

The holiday season is a wonderful time to make charitable donations. This year we're collecting donations for Care Camps.  Your gift to Care Camps will help children who have cancer enjoy care-free time focusing on fun, friends and activities at sleep-away camps this summer.

When Is The Lights of Christmas Open?

The light show runs through December 31, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) and until 11 p.m. on weekends (Friday-Saturday). 

Where Is The Lights of Christmas Located?

The Lights of Christmas and the Christmas Village can be found at Virginia Beach KOA Holiday. Enter on the backside of KOA at 101 KOA Lane (off Prosperity Road) or the front entrance at 1240 General Booth Blvd. in Virginia Beach.

How Much Is The Lights of Christmas Virginia Beach Event?

Guests who are staying at a campsite or cabin at the campground can enjoy the event for FREE during their stay. The Lights of Christmas costs $25 per carload Sunday-Thursday or $30 per car load Friday-Saturday, and includes the Christmas Village in the admission price. For military, there is $5 off per vehicle. Oversized vehicles require an additional fee. Admission can be paid upon arrival in exact change, with a credit card, or online in advance at https://www.thelightsofchristmasvb.com/.

We accept cash (exact change requested) and all major credit/debit cards. 

Who Is TK Lighting?

The Lights of Christmas is presented by TK Lighting LLC. Owned by Trey Eichenberg and his wife Kenzie, this veteran-operated and family-run business is based out of the little town of Lusk, Wyoming. Trey is a U.S. Army veteran with a passion for Christmas and family. He and his wife first met at Virginia Beach KOA Holiday, and they can't wait to share this unique holiday experience with the families of Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads.
