Stayed in one of the tent sites and it was great. Love the space and privacy of the campsites. We had a black bear mom and cub trying to get in the dumpster through the night, so that was also cool!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient, reservations and payment done online. No contact check in via phone. Stayed 4th of July weekend so it was busy but did not feel as though it was since staff was frequently cleaning bathrooms and showers. Thank you KOA we enjoyed our stay very much!

My family came in for the softball tourney with no place to stay due to it being fairly last minute, KOA went out of their way and found us a spot for the weekend. Laurine was incredible and really helped us out! We will be coming back !

Our stay got cut short. It was a beautiful camp ground , everyone one on rhe staff went above and beyond to make sure that the customer comes first. They will see us agian for sure. Thanks for your hospitality.

Super clean facilities. Great campground for families as there is a playground for kids. Also a small fenced in dog area so the pups can run around. Like that the tent sites are located in the back near the trees. Enjoyed the shade and shelter that the trees provided if by chance it showered. Great campground and will back go in the future.

Had a wonderful stay here. All the staff were helpful and answered any and all questions that i had. They also had good standards for sanitization of facilities due to covid19 and i felt at ease using them. I will certainly be staying here again for future visits to valdez.

Very friendly! Good place between downtown and going out towards trails and Worthington Glacier. Would definitely stay again!

Loved this place! It was well taken care of, had great facilities, and the staff were welcoming and wonderful. One of our favorite places we stayed out of 7 locations during an Alaskan road trip vacation. Highly recommended! Close enough to enjoy things but far enough to relax.

I like the owners, they are great folks. But since going KOA the price went up substantially but the value isn’t there. Still not enough bathroom facilities and it has gotten noisy. Quite bour at 10 but campers still yelling and carrying on until midnight. We camped there one night then decided to camp remotely...much better.

Over all the group I was apart of had a very good stay and I’m sure we’ll be staying again. The staff were very pleasant to work with and the tent sites we used were clean and flat. Thanks to all the staff

Salmon Hatchery was awesome. Need options more than fishing and shopping. Campground was wonderful and hosts and campers friendly.

Our stay was uneventful but throughout our stay people were coming and going pretty regularly and the sites weren't cleaned up for next guest. I.E. Firepits not cleaned out and small trash left behind. We are koa members and have stayed at them all over the country and were disappointed in the lack of upkeep and prep after sites checked out.

Love the Staff. all the ladies were so friendly and helpful. The showers and bathrooms are very clean, and even after what seemed like non stop shower use, there was still hot water at the end of the day. They built some new picnic tables, they were great :-) Fire pits are rocks, but did what we needed. fire and smoke to fight off mosquitos :-) i loved my camp spot back by the creek

Clean grounds and facilities. Very friendly staff, and we didn’t have to worry about anything we left behind. Conveniently located. Make sure you bring good sized tarps if you are pitching a tent!! Would definitely stay again.

The tent sites were laughably small and there was only one picnic table for every four or five sites. The group in the site next to mine had two tents and two cars, a snarling dog tied to a tree, and a pickup truck with ATV trailer. They were using parts of the sites on either side, and I had to ask them to move so I could access my site. I was so uncomfortable that I slept in my car for safety.

Douches séparées des toilettes seraient préférables. La propreté des toilettes et douche est insuffisante. Pas régulièrement nettoyées durant la journée. Selon l'emplacement, mauvaise connexion du wifi. L'emplacement du camping est excellente. Bel espace et calme.

Camp ground has potential but still very new! Not all sites have table and chairs. Facilities are fabulous but only one complex so you have to walk a fair distance for the ablutions.

Nice campground. Quiet, clean and friendly customer service. Two negatives....not all tent sites have tables and the ground for many tent sites is furrowed and uneven.

We ended up getting a hotel room because there was over an inch of standing water on our tent camping site and more rain coming down.

For the price we paid for a simple tent site it would have been nice to have the grass/plants mowed and a picnic table. We have paid less elsewhere for a nicer spot. Other than appearance our stay was nice. More bathrooms were being built which was definitely needed when campground is full.

Good set up. Plenty of room for kids to run and play. Nice wooded area. Fantastic alternative to the Valdez parking lot style RV sites.

This is our go to campground whenever we are in the area,specially the bathrooms,there always clean and warm when you go inside and towels for the floors too.

Location could be better, it's a bit out of town but on a big busy road. Prices are like all KOA campgrounds on the high price range but the service and the showers are beautiful, clean and warm.
