It was great for me as I went at the very end of the season. Empty park and the owner was great! The spots are fairly close together so could be crazy during the busy season. Owner gave me a discounted rate. The firewood they had was TERRIBLE and didn’t burn at all!

We loved staying in the Olympia RV. It had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay in Valdez. It was great that we didn't have to haul a camper- it was ready and waiting for us. Clean camper, clean bathrooms, and a great playground area for the kids to run wild in and burn off energy. We enjoyed the pancake and sausage breakfast too!. Overall a great stay and we will be back again!

Great visit and weather. Great fishing. Appreciated the unexpected advice and support from the KOA manager on my RV light/fuse problem. Surprisingly knowledgeable and caring. Thanks KOA, another enjoyable visit.

Excellent as always, I normally book the next years stay while down there but had some problems. I went by the office and a very nice lady Selina helped me book next years stay. Always very helpful staff and we plan our annual trip at the KOA. Your staff has earned a very bird thank you.

We had a great experience at Valdez KOA and really enjoyed our stay. The campground was beautiful, clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the firewood. For the price we paid, the amount of wood we received was very small, and unfortunately, much of it was wet and difficult to burn. It definitely didn’t feel like good value for the money.

Staff was pleasant. We arrived after office hours and our paperwork was set aside, just as instructed. Settled in just fine. Site lots were kinda tight, but grounds were well maintained.

The campground was great. Booking and check in was easy. The staff was friendly. Everything was clean. The hot water temperature in the showers was fantastic. The views were beautiful. The pancake breakfast was fun. Things that could be improved would be a better shelter area, more gravel on the playground, quiet hours enforced.

This is our go to every year. The bathhouse is always clean and the sites are laid out well. We chose a deluxe cabin this year and it was great! The grounds are awesome and it’s nice to be in a park that’s only a few minutes from the harbor but feels like you’re “away from it all”. See you next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in a deluxe cabin. It was very comfortable. Absolutely loved the shower! The location was great too. The staff was wonderful and allowed us to check in a little early.

The camp site was great- clean tent, great that canopy covered the table, and a charger for devices. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate and smelled clean. We will definitely return. It was convenient and affordable. Thank you!!!!!

Great stay!! Great to see improvements since we last stayed. More sites with full hookups! KOA employees are great here. Willing to help with anything needed and very pleasant!! Nice to have the honey wagon as we had water and electric. Will be back in the future!!

Staff and facilities are top notch. I choose to stay here, regularly, whenever work brings me to the Valdez area, for work. If next year's work schedule allows it, I hope to stay here, again.

It was better than I expected. Our site was not the best but we made it work. Staff were all friendly. I loved having a washing station for dishes so I didn’t have to wash dishes in our small camper or outside at the picnic table. The only thing I didn’t like was that a person came into our campsite at 1 am with a big diesel truck and camper and then they moved in the early morning to a diffe

This KOA was nice. Had I known about the RV Campgrounds in town, which were nicer, I would have stayed there. Check in was friendly, but the prices were higher based on what you get. It did suit the purpose for our camping in Valdez. But would suggest the RV Parks Downtown .

Very clean well kept campground. Quiet at night. The man working on 8/10/26 that cooked breakfast (pancakes and sausage) was great to chat with while he was flipping pancakes! Breakfast was much appreciated!!

It was wonderful. The space is clean and cozy. The hot water is almost instant and very hot. A perfect space for a party of 4.

The owner was very kind. The campground is lovely and clean. I loved that this owner welcomed me as a guest instead of beating me over the head with a lot of "do not" rules before I even get parked. Great job!

This visit to Valdez we only stayed for two nights. As always it was very nice and the staff was accommodating with any reasonable request. I look forward to my next stay at the KOA. - Just another happy camper.

A very nice, secluded campground in the Valdez area! Many of the sites are heavily wooded, with natural barriers between neighbors that give you a great sense of privacy. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful, and customer-oriented. One of our favorite surprises was being able to rent e-bikes right at the campground! We spent the day riding the bike paths to the Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery, enjoying lunch at the Valdez harbor, and then checking out Glacier Lake. It was an awesome way to explore Valdez on a beautiful day. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend Valdez KOA!

spent the Last two weeks of August at KOA Valdez over the last two years and have made reservations to return next season in ‘27. The personnel or second to none. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We rented a camper that is station at the KOA (the 19' Olympia) and it was great for our family of four (2 under 3 years old). It had basic kitchen tools so we could cook our breakfast sausages and make tea. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to keep the camper a comfortable temperature. It had a bathroom or we walked to the campground bathrooms (both in great and clean condition). The camper was in a great spot within the KOA and our kids loved playing in the playground area as well as the sausage and pancake breakfast. Just outside of town and next to the bike path- its a perfect location that doesn't feel to crowded. Overall a great experience- we will be back again!
