As always, super friendly staff and a great, quiet facility. Small issue, we rented an on-site RV and needed to request a few things that weren’t fully stocked. But overall, we were all comfortable and very impressed with the RV. KOA Valdez will always be our first choice for our stays in Valdez!

Great campground. Spaces were clean, quiet, and an easy walk to amenities. Bathrooms were very clean. Overall a great experience.

Disappointed in the small laundry and didn't like the campfire smoke that permeated the RV and my eyes. However, the back in spots had ample room to negotiate getting the 5th wheel parked. We would stay again.

The staff were what impressed me the most. Friendly and helpful! Office gal (Belinda?…starts with a B ) was fabulous. She and her partner (didn’t get his name) - their first summer there - are fantastic young people for the tourism business. Cabin was clean, shower was hot, bed was comfy….what more could anyone want �

Perfect campground when traveling with pets and kids. Pet areas were convenient, playground and activities for kids were a huge plus! Great location and beautiful setting. Showers were clean and check in was a breeze.

This KOA is the perfect spot in Valdez! Close to town and just far away enough to have quiet. A lot of trails around for exploring. Just a beautiful area. The KOA it self is nice, clean. The showers are clean, safe and comfortable. Fun activities for the family on the weekends. A great place to stay if you're camping in Valdez.

We stayed in the glamping tent and it was worth every penny!! Room was warm, furniture was great, bed comfy, and the bathrooms and showers were immaculately clean.

Staff was phenomenal. They went out of their way to make it a great stay for us. Amenities were great, location is far enough away from town that you feel the much needed separation, and the site was beautiful.

I ended up leaving early. I know it’s a family oriented place and don’t mind that at all, but hours of it during quiet hours at the proximity were a lot. The bathrooms were nice though.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and private- NICE! Wish the cabins had a table and chairs. I felt the price was pretty high for what was offered. We may have preferred a VRBO closer to town, but that’s personal preference. Lots of mosquitos. Map looked larger than actual

We stayed in a pull thru site, plenty of space, only suggestion would be to have some grass between them so it doesn’t feel like you are camping in a parking lot. Several of the machines in the laundry room weren’t working. The dog park is very small, if you have even a medium sized dog you can’t even throw a ball really. We just used the paved trail to exercise our dog.

Everything perfect for our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. An added touch that was especially nice was bath mats so you stepped out of the shower to a clean mat instead of the floor.

This KOA kept with the consistency that I’ve come to expect with KOA. The showers and camping area areas were all clean and the staff was very helpful! My only real complaint was that there was no baby changing station in any of the bathrooms. Now I know you’re thinking who brings their five month old camping alone? But it would’ve been nice to have an easier way to zip and button my pants.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with KOA! It was so easy to book our tent camping spot. Luckily, when our plans changed at the last minute and asked for a pull in spot for a trailer, there was a spot open and we were upgraded with ease! The staff were very friendly. The bath/shower house was always clean! We especially loved the designated dog area. Thank you!

I had a nice stay with my beagle at a Paw Pen site. The staff was friendly and helpful. The other RV parks in Valdez are much less desirable locations, basically just gravel lots in town.

Could be a very nice campground, but while we were there the campground didn't have any water to any of the sites. There was water to the bathhouse only. While I totally understand that the water lines had frozen, I feel that they should have give us a discount due to the services not working. There also was no power to the 15 amp outlets at our side, the only one working was the 30 amp breaker.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating the water outage was, and we're pleased to say the repairs are complete and water has been restored to all sites. We'll also inspect the 15-amp outlet, which either failed after our spring testing or was missed.

Level sites, easy off and on Richardson Hwy. The sites are very close together. The staff was very friendly. Hopefully, they'll get the water repaired soon.

Campground accommodated us with an early check in (3 hrs), allowing us to fish well into the evening. The process was smooth and easy, and the staff were friendly and professional. We will return in the future.

We really enjoyed this place over the camp sights in town. Spacious sights with full hook ups. And a wide range of campsights. Friendly service!

Selena is an awesome host. She helped us with getting a reservation and understood our plight of finding a spot on a busy holiday weekend. We didn't have any issues with the hook ups. The staff also hosted a breakfast and it was delicious. Wonderful staff and location. We can't wait to stay again!

Brianna at the front desk is a great assest to this campground. showers and restrooms kept clean, and even floor mats at the SHowers.
