Excellent customer experience from start to finish. Booking online was easy. There was an issue with the accommodations we had booked but the staff notified me 3 weeks in advance and offered a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe cabin. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a good stay.

The Swiss chalet was adorable, roomy and well-stocked. We loved the ambience! The staff were great and very responsive to our various needs. The only thing that dropped this to four stars was the delayed notice about the boil alert.

I stayed in one of the cabins this time, but I have stayed at a (non hook-up) camp spot with my trailer before. The campground and the cabin are very clean, the bed is super comfortable and the cabin comes with a very nice bathroom. Everyone is extremely friendly. I didn't try the e-bike rental, but I am pleased to see them expending the services, especially building a bigger dog playground.

Really enjoyed the laid back campground. Beautiful views and their camper we rented was clean and comfy! Staff was also really friendly and helpful. We will be back next time we are in Valdez!

The Deluxe Cabin was comfortable, clean, and cozy for my weekend stay in Valdez! The main town is only a 10 minute drive, making it a convenient location.

We rented a trailer for our time in Valdez and it was the perfect option. We were three adults in town to fish, and the trailer was perfect with a fridge/freezer to put the fish after packaging. It was also nice to not have to haul all the gear in and out of a hotel room.

Cabin was very nice and comfy. Only thing that could have been improved would be a small folding table with two chairs to sit and eat inside when it’s raining outside and you can’t use the picnic tables.

Great stay overall. Received a $2.00 charge that was not itemized despite not consuming any items from the “mini bar”. In general, mini bars are not something I want in the room because the lack of accountability on the inventory. The proof is on you. Show me the before and after inventory photos and tell me why I am being charged.

Our stay was fabulous. We were greeted by Lori who was warm, inviting, friendly and very wiling to share her local knowledge. Our accommodations were very clean and well maintained. After a day of heavy rain we returned to a tiny drip. Salina came and fixed the roof. She also refilled our propane tanks at nearly midnight. On our next visit to Valdez we will surely be staying with the folks @ KOA.

I needed to change my reservation, not once, but twice, and thankfully those changes were graciously accommodated. We were told that due to recent temperatures our cabin would be chilly, but a second electric heater would be delivered to us shortly that would remedy that situation. The heater was delivered 10 minutes later. The cabin was clean and the bed was firm and comfortable. No complaints.

We rented the small glamping tent. We loved this tent! It rained for about 36 hrs straight and we were high and dry. There’s a heater inside which was next level camping. Also a kuerig coffee maker & 4 pods. You can buy more at the Safeway in town. Also came with a set of bath towels for 2, 2 twin comfy beds and a sweet stuffed black bear. Jason is a gem with a quick wit and super amicable.

Great chalet with few adds needed: too few kitchen supplies, no basic condiments like salt, pepper , very limited amount of tea, coffee, sugar (just 4 of each for 3 adults for 5 days). Great heating and patios furniture, comfortable bedding, a lot of lighting and sockets. Love it and will be back while in Valdez.

Cabins were clean, comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Plenty of hot water each day. We really enjoyed the fire pit area and the chairs provided to sit outside with friends. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Our family stayed during opening weekend 2026 and had a wonderful time. As it was opening weekend and the campground had recently made some improvements, we had a few minor issues the first day of our stay. That being said, the staff here is amazing and will treat you like family. Our cabin heat wasn't working properly and within 5 minutes of us reaching out they were knocking on the door with a space heater (even though it was after hours). The couple other minor concerns we had were addressed just as quickly and professionally. I highly recommend staying here. It's nice to be off the beaten path but close to everything as well. This place truly cares about your experience so if you have any issues- TELL THEM! Issues can always pop up anywhere you stay but this place will address your concerns quickly and with the same level of care they would a family member. 10/10 recommend. We will be staying again for sure!

Selena made our stay! We came in late and were super tired. We drove down from the Dalton and were in dire need of rest. Selena instantly made us feel at home, safe, and comfortable. The next morning she helped us to rent e bikes to take into town and we had an amazing time! Thank you for the recommendation and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this stop! Thank you Selena for one of our best memories of Alaska!

Great campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Their on-site laundry and showers are great. The showers in particular are in-door and heated as well as very clean (compared to other locations we've visited). Their staff is quite helpful and accommodating - they even saved a cinnamon roll for us, since they knew we'd be late getting back from our morning excursion.
