We loved staying in the Olympia RV. It had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay in Valdez. It was great that we didn't have to haul a camper- it was ready and waiting for us. Clean camper, clean bathrooms, and a great playground area for the kids to run wild in and burn off energy. We enjoyed the pancake and sausage breakfast too!. Overall a great stay and we will be back again!

This is our go to every year. The bathhouse is always clean and the sites are laid out well. We chose a deluxe cabin this year and it was great! The grounds are awesome and it’s nice to be in a park that’s only a few minutes from the harbor but feels like you’re “away from it all”. See you next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in a deluxe cabin. It was very comfortable. Absolutely loved the shower! The location was great too. The staff was wonderful and allowed us to check in a little early.

The camp site was great- clean tent, great that canopy covered the table, and a charger for devices. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate and smelled clean. We will definitely return. It was convenient and affordable. Thank you!!!!!

It was wonderful. The space is clean and cozy. The hot water is almost instant and very hot. A perfect space for a party of 4.

The staff is 100% fantastic! Selina literally helped me plan our vacation by giving recommendations & answering my numerous calls. Kit & Brianna ard the sweetest people! I locked my keys in my unit numerous times and they always let me in with a smile. The cabin was very clean & comfortable and the bathhouse was always tidy. Dominick was especially helpful with some suggestions & manual tasks.

We tried their on-site tent stay- worked out great! They offered a jackery charger for phones. Their bathrooms and showers were kept clean daily. Liked their station to do outside dishes- had hot water! Everyone was very friendly. They had a fun events for kids during 4th of July. Happy to come back again!

As always, super friendly staff and a great, quiet facility. Small issue, we rented an on-site RV and needed to request a few things that weren’t fully stocked. But overall, we were all comfortable and very impressed with the RV. KOA Valdez will always be our first choice for our stays in Valdez!

The staff were what impressed me the most. Friendly and helpful! Office gal (Belinda?…starts with a B ) was fabulous. She and her partner (didn’t get his name) - their first summer there - are fantastic young people for the tourism business. Cabin was clean, shower was hot, bed was comfy….what more could anyone want �

We stayed in the glamping tent and it was worth every penny!! Room was warm, furniture was great, bed comfy, and the bathrooms and showers were immaculately clean.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and private- NICE! Wish the cabins had a table and chairs. I felt the price was pretty high for what was offered. We may have preferred a VRBO closer to town, but that’s personal preference. Lots of mosquitos. Map looked larger than actual

Campground accommodated us with an early check in (3 hrs), allowing us to fish well into the evening. The process was smooth and easy, and the staff were friendly and professional. We will return in the future.

Excellent customer experience from start to finish. Booking online was easy. There was an issue with the accommodations we had booked but the staff notified me 3 weeks in advance and offered a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe cabin. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a good stay.

The Swiss chalet was adorable, roomy and well-stocked. We loved the ambience! The staff were great and very responsive to our various needs. The only thing that dropped this to four stars was the delayed notice about the boil alert.

I stayed in one of the cabins this time, but I have stayed at a (non hook-up) camp spot with my trailer before. The campground and the cabin are very clean, the bed is super comfortable and the cabin comes with a very nice bathroom. Everyone is extremely friendly. I didn't try the e-bike rental, but I am pleased to see them expending the services, especially building a bigger dog playground.

The Deluxe Cabin was comfortable, clean, and cozy for my weekend stay in Valdez! The main town is only a 10 minute drive, making it a convenient location.

We rented a trailer for our time in Valdez and it was the perfect option. We were three adults in town to fish, and the trailer was perfect with a fridge/freezer to put the fish after packaging. It was also nice to not have to haul all the gear in and out of a hotel room.

Cabin was very nice and comfy. Only thing that could have been improved would be a small folding table with two chairs to sit and eat inside when it’s raining outside and you can’t use the picnic tables.

Great stay overall. Received a $2.00 charge that was not itemized despite not consuming any items from the “mini bar”. In general, mini bars are not something I want in the room because the lack of accountability on the inventory. The proof is on you. Show me the before and after inventory photos and tell me why I am being charged.

A very nice, secluded campground in the Valdez area! Many of the sites are heavily wooded, with natural barriers between neighbors that give you a great sense of privacy. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful, and customer-oriented. One of our favorite surprises was being able to rent e-bikes right at the campground! We spent the day riding the bike paths to the Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery, enjoying lunch at the Valdez harbor, and then checking out Glacier Lake. It was an awesome way to explore Valdez on a beautiful day. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend Valdez KOA!

spent the Last two weeks of August at KOA Valdez over the last two years and have made reservations to return next season in ‘27. The personnel or second to none. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We rented a camper that is station at the KOA (the 19' Olympia) and it was great for our family of four (2 under 3 years old). It had basic kitchen tools so we could cook our breakfast sausages and make tea. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to keep the camper a comfortable temperature. It had a bathroom or we walked to the campground bathrooms (both in great and clean condition). The camper was in a great spot within the KOA and our kids loved playing in the playground area as well as the sausage and pancake breakfast. Just outside of town and next to the bike path- its a perfect location that doesn't feel to crowded. Overall a great experience- we will be back again!
