nice to be located a little out to town and I really like the bike path connected to the rv park to be able to walk the dogs

Hot showers, clean park, good quiet hours, great staff, *out of town but close enough.

Liked the layout, not too big or small. Not a lot of amenities which we don't use. Clean. R/R's. Their WiFi should set the standard for every CG's WiFi. Staff was excellent. Located just outside of Valdez which we prefer. Certainly would return.

Thank you so much. We are animal lovers too. Our master plan (to be executed as we have funds) includes a very large dog park, and sites with paw pens. We will be really excited to start executing our vision for the campground and bringing these amenities to life.

We absolutely love the Valdez KOA campground. Our recent fishing trip was cancelled due to a mechanical, but we decided to stay with our friends and enjoy our time around the campfire. We utilized the dog pen for our labradoodles while we enjoyed a game of cornhole and loved sitting around the campfire each night. The Host, Miss Lori, is absolutely fantastic! LOVE the way she makes us feel!

It was great, from the beautiful waterfalls to the 360* view of the gorgeous mountains surrounding the campground. Lori, is amazing from our check in day to the day we left, simply amazing.

The place could be nice, but some services were not worth the 78 $ we spent: The laundry with only 3 machines, the muddy ways (why not put some gravel on them like on every state campground?) and the gender mixed bathrooms. All in all not a place that I would recommend to others.

Thank you for your feedback. Alas, roadways can only be graded dry; raining/wet they become a muddy mess. Before your arrival, we'd graded several times and again not long after your departure. We hope the next time you visit, it will be a better experience as the Team work hard for guest happiness.

Lori and the staff at the KOA Valdez will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. As the only RV park in Valdez with a playground, the KOA is a great placr for Families where kids can enjoy themselves outdoors during those 'down times' at the campground.

Staff was great but the pull-thu’s need better markings. The RV beside us pulled in the opposite way from the rest of the RV’s and the guests took over 1/2 of our site (including the picnic table for our site). That was very disappointing. Pull-thru’s for all should be same.

Thank you for your feedback. We agree that we need better delineation between sites so that guests don't get confused about which parts go with their sites. We have some sites meant to pull in opposite for groups to gather in the middle; need better markings for separate campers. Will work on this.

Gorgeous campsite!!! Wish that Wi-Fi worked through the whole place but the scenery was spectacular!!!

Thank you so much for your feedback. Please tell us the specific areas where wifi didn't cover. We worked with the installer to have this wonderful superfast wifi installed a couple years ago, and together tried to make sure it covered everything. Would love to know specifically what's not covered.

The campground was quite lovely and we enjoyed our stay. I personally think it would be nicer to have more room between the sites as we only had about 2 feet between RV's with our awning and slide out. The neighbors would walk within a foot of our window because we were so close. The roads were full of holes with water and lots of mud due to the steady rain and needed more gravel and grading.

Lori was exceptionally helpful at the front desk, and reserved us the best spot in the whole campground! And SHOUT OUT to Jason.. the very nice man from New Hampshire who.. without him would have been stranded. All around fantastic!

Jason was a great help with our RV repair..He helped my husband unstick the grey tank valve and loaned us his power drill for a inside RV repair..Great guy and all the staff were friendly..Great dog park and we also enjoyed the Stan Steven's boat tour was fabulous has we saw whales and seals and great Glaciers views..Definitely would recommend this KOA.

The Valdez KOA is nestled in the trees. We had a wonderful corner site in the trees. Staff was very nice and the bathrooms were shining clean. They must clean them every 1/2 hour because I never saw them anything other than neat and clean. A very important point for us, it was quiet. Good job Valdez KOA! We will stay there again.

This KOA is not up to usual standards. The sites are close together, there aren’t any tv channels, and the toilets are unisex and creepy because you have to go through a door to get to the unisex stalls, sharing a tiny space with strangers of either gender. The showers were good. There are trees, and we had Wi-Fi.

Excellent! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Lori at check in was wonderful. The campground was neat and clean. The individual bathrooms were kept clean throughout the day, you could smell the cleanliness. Really like the individual complete bathroom setup and the finishing touch of a clean shower mat to step on as you exit the shower, wonderful idea!

Staff was wonderful and very friendly! They told us about fun free events in town. The campground facilities are very clean and extremely family/pet friendly. I'd definitely go again!!!

Super friendly and helpful lady at check in. Campground facilities first class. Well supervised, campers all polite, considerate. Quiet and pretty campground. Would definitely recommend!

My stay is always Amazing. Lori is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. Also, the rest of the staff was great.

KOA Valdez did an admirable job making us feel accommodated and comfortable. A little more 'corporate' however that seemed to take away some of the 'Alaska Casual' of the place. It seemed there was more Team scooting around looking for infractions, more rules...all understandable given our stay fell on a holiday weekend, and the managers made allowances. No towels! Bring your own.

Selena is an awesome host. She helped us with getting a reservation and understood our plight of finding a spot on a busy holiday weekend. We didn't have any issues with the hook ups. The staff also hosted a breakfast and it was delicious. Wonderful staff and location. We can't wait to stay again!

Brianna at the front desk is a great assest to this campground. showers and restrooms kept clean, and even floor mats at the SHowers.
