Staff was wonderful and very friendly! They told us about fun free events in town. The campground facilities are very clean and extremely family/pet friendly. I'd definitely go again!!!

Super friendly and helpful lady at check in. Campground facilities first class. Well supervised, campers all polite, considerate. Quiet and pretty campground. Would definitely recommend!

My stay is always Amazing. Lori is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. Also, the rest of the staff was great.

We are happy you had another great stay especially knowing our General Manager, Lori, took care of you. Her accent (Australian) can confuse some of our guests, thinking she is from the UK or New Zealand. We are glad you spent time with her. She'd love nothing more than seeing you all again soon.

All of the staff we interacted with were top notch, they were polite, curious, helpful and friendly. It rained during our entire stay, even so the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Good job!

KOA Valdez did an admirable job making us feel accommodated and comfortable. A little more 'corporate' however that seemed to take away some of the 'Alaska Casual' of the place. It seemed there was more Team scooting around looking for infractions, more rules...all understandable given our stay fell on a holiday weekend, and the managers made allowances. No towels! Bring your own.

Always have a great time. Lori and other employees were very nice and supportive. Campsite was great. Loved seeing horseshoes and corn hole games.

Love the Valdez KOA, staff is great, campground is lovely, and it's never really like camping and always definitely glamping.

Phenomenal campground, this is our first choice of places to stay in Valdez. The donuts on checkout day were a nice touch. We were in spot 76 which is becoming noticably out of level (probably not helped by the rain).

Stayed 4 nights, was good, showers are clean, the campsites are really close to each other and someone parked over our fire pit. Other than that it was great!

Ellie and her husband were outstanding host during our valdez trip. Best hosts we've had to date. Campground were in great condition and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. We'll be back next year.

I stayed at the Valdez KOA for four days and this was my first trip to Valdez in 2022. In rhe past I had always camped in town near the harbor. The Valdez KOA has a better location outside of town with its quick access to Dayville road and Allison point. The campground also has FREE SHOWERiING facilities, a playground,horse shoes, etc which offers more amenities than any other around Valdez.

Had no problems and everything seem to work and was clean. Only thing we did not like was the gray and black water service when the staff come around and do it was later on in the day only so when we had ti leave in the morning (10:30am) we had to do our own dumping of tanks. Other then that it was great

Upon our arrival, Elie was very helpful and friendly and help us with the activities to do in Valdez. Showers were clean, clean, clean. Of all the Koa we staid this summer (8), Valdez is our #1. Mikael & Lise from Montréal, Québec.

It was coming home. I were received by a very friendly lady (and man). She told me the important things on the campsite but also which sightseeing's there are in Valdez. I have them see all. Beautiful! Thanks for staying with you. And the most important thing, that I now know that a brown bear the same animal is as a grizzlybear. Joehoeee! Check!

The RV park was beautiful the lady and the Young man working there were very accommodating I would recommend this park to anybody a lot better than the crappy Parks downtown.

We once again enjoyed our stay at the Valdez KOA, even with the pouring rain. The host and her entire crew are the most lovely hosts in all of America. From taking care of our Senior labradoodle, Townshend, offering to help hitch up our travel trailer & more. The Valdez KOA continues to be our very favorite campground in America. And, they will pump your Sewage every day upon request. Shirley

great place, convenient to Valdez This is really not an issue for KOA but people that stay there Disrespectful people--arriving at 11 pm with numerous kids the noise was horrible Next morning kids playing in our fire pit Adults not watching the kids We moved! Also be aware that if one wants to check out later that its $15 an hour Never in 30 years of camping have I seen this

The site was too close to the two neighbors and the picnic table and fire pit was not moved out of the way prior to backing in. The slide out was too close to the neighbors table. A visual site inspection prior to arrival would gave been nice. One guy who helped put propane in our tank let too much release in the air and alarmed us that we needed to be worried about snow that was not forecasted.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The campground was well maintained, clean and quiet. It was a few miles from town but after being in the downtown and seeing parking lot campgrounds, we appreciated the fact it was further out. We would definitely revisit the campground and highly recommend it to other RVers.

We loved Valdez and the KOA was perfect for our stay! Everything was very clean and the staff were so nice and helpful. And it truly is the fastest wifi in Alaska! When I come back I will definitely stay here. Beautiful mountains surround the campground. It has everything

Our family stayed during opening weekend 2026 and had a wonderful time. As it was opening weekend and the campground had recently made some improvements, we had a few minor issues the first day of our stay. That being said, the staff here is amazing and will treat you like family. Our cabin heat wasn't working properly and within 5 minutes of us reaching out they were knocking on the door with a space heater (even though it was after hours). The couple other minor concerns we had were addressed just as quickly and professionally. I highly recommend staying here. It's nice to be off the beaten path but close to everything as well. This place truly cares about your experience so if you have any issues- TELL THEM! Issues can always pop up anywhere you stay but this place will address your concerns quickly and with the same level of care they would a family member. 10/10 recommend. We will be staying again for sure!

Selena made our stay! We came in late and were super tired. We drove down from the Dalton and were in dire need of rest. Selena instantly made us feel at home, safe, and comfortable. The next morning she helped us to rent e bikes to take into town and we had an amazing time! Thank you for the recommendation and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this stop! Thank you Selena for one of our best memories of Alaska!

Great campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Their on-site laundry and showers are great. The showers in particular are in-door and heated as well as very clean (compared to other locations we've visited). Their staff is quite helpful and accommodating - they even saved a cinnamon roll for us, since they knew we'd be late getting back from our morning excursion.
