Very comfortable stay in the deluxe cabin! Great amenities for families and nice grassed areas with shade. Very friendly staff who even went out of their way to mail personal items left behind. Highly recommend

It was amazing and the staff were incredibly helpful to make our stay with them awesome. I would love to have stayed longer. The prices were very worth the stay and reasonable. We loved it.

Deluxe Cabin #1 has the best shower! The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and those chairs were comfortable. We appreciated the tips on where to get food and see bears in the area - everyone was so very helpful. Campground was quiet and clean. It was a great experience and we'll be back.

Beautiful campground. Nicely spaced out. We did the easy-tent and it was awesome…no assembly required! The bathhouse was clean and the staff were prevalent and responsive. Can’t wait to come stay again.

Great and friendly hosts and staff. Very comfortable beds. A little outside of town but much nicer and more space than the in town campgrounds. We had a good time in Valdez and enjoyed our stay here.

For the price of the room it was not worth the money. The door had a big gap in it. Gnats collected all along the door it was so gross. The room wasn’t cleaned properly. You could hear the people from the rvs talking all night no fan to block the noise out. How can you advertise it as “glamping”. Far from it. I wouldn’t ever stay in another KOA again.

We rented a Cyclone 5th wheel, it was amazing! So convenient it had everything, except camping chairs for the fire pit, other then that this was the best accommodations on our trip! The staff was so sweet, personable and very attentive, made us feel like family the minute we stepped foot in the office. The handy man went above and beyond to help. Highly recommend! May want to re-level the trailer.

We stayed in the A-frame and it met our needs. It's designed for two people, but there is only one chair? No BBQ grill but I rigged up one using the fire ring, stones, and a grate that we brought with us which was fine for grilling a little salmon. The wifi was super fast and there was plenty of hot water. The beds are firm, which is the way we like it.

The cabin was not what I was expecting at all…it was so much better. It was so cute and the linens were luxurious. I was so impressed. Comfy bed, wonderful shower, fat fluffy towels, etc. Very much appreciated.

The campground was very clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful and polite with any and all questions. After seeing what the other camp grounds looked like closer to town I'm glad we stayed here, much more private and spread out. Would highly recommend KOA.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. Very comfortable. Cabins are being slowly renovated. The linens were nice and towels, etc. were new. My suggestion would be to improve upon the ‘fire pit’ and upgrade the TV, it was probably a 15” monitor. Mini fridge needs to be defrosted. The KOA was clean and kept up, I would stay here again.

We had to extend our stay by a day due to unforeseen circumstances. The only lodging available was a cabin normally rented for a minimum of two days. They bent over backwards for us and let us have a cabin for the extra night. Next time we go to Valdez, we will certainly stay at the KOA. Thank you folks for helping us out..

Our family stayed during opening weekend 2026 and had a wonderful time. As it was opening weekend and the campground had recently made some improvements, we had a few minor issues the first day of our stay. That being said, the staff here is amazing and will treat you like family. Our cabin heat wasn't working properly and within 5 minutes of us reaching out they were knocking on the door with a space heater (even though it was after hours). The couple other minor concerns we had were addressed just as quickly and professionally. I highly recommend staying here. It's nice to be off the beaten path but close to everything as well. This place truly cares about your experience so if you have any issues- TELL THEM! Issues can always pop up anywhere you stay but this place will address your concerns quickly and with the same level of care they would a family member. 10/10 recommend. We will be staying again for sure!

Selena made our stay! We came in late and were super tired. We drove down from the Dalton and were in dire need of rest. Selena instantly made us feel at home, safe, and comfortable. The next morning she helped us to rent e bikes to take into town and we had an amazing time! Thank you for the recommendation and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this stop! Thank you Selena for one of our best memories of Alaska!

Great campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Their on-site laundry and showers are great. The showers in particular are in-door and heated as well as very clean (compared to other locations we've visited). Their staff is quite helpful and accommodating - they even saved a cinnamon roll for us, since they knew we'd be late getting back from our morning excursion.
