Second time staying in the cabins. Cabin was ok but not as clean. Dust on the cabinets and cobwebs in the windows. This time the campground was pretty full. Lots of families. The grounds were nice and well kept.

Had an absolutely fantastic time. Campsite/ground does not have a crowded feeling like other RV/ cabins in the area. Had a deluxe cabin for the weekend which was next to a small pond with a fire pit and charcoal grill. Felt extremely safe and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing.

The cabin was quite spacious including the full bath and met all our needs for our two-night stay. Two fine gents welcomed and checked us in. I definitely recommend them and would stay again in the future.

The cabin was lovely after two weeks of tent camping. The private bathroom and shower were great, and we were pleasantly surprised to have a TV and wifi. The on-site amenities were also very nice. Loved having washer and dryers available for use. Very nice campground with friendly staff.

Great cabin at the Valdez KOA. We would definitely recommend for someone traveling in the Valdez area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. Very nice bathroom, with a outstanding shower.

Jason is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed every interaction with him!!! KOA was clean, well maintained, easy to access, and at quiet time the entire KOA became silent - it was impressive. We used an Easy Camp (tent and cots provided), and it made our trip hassle free! Loved that our dog was welcomed. The only suggestion for improvement - spray for mosquitos

We are a family of 5 traveling in Alaska. The camper was the perfect place for us to rent so we were close to the ferry. This camper could easily hold 6 to up to 8. They camp grounds looks well taken care of. Upon arriving we found the furnace would not run and get to the temp we set. They did bring us extra heaters.

Was pouring rain when I arrived and many of the tent sites, one of which I had reserved were flooded. I was upgraded to a glamping tent on a platform so it was cozy and dry. So thankful! The staff went above and beyond to make sure my weekend wasn’t ruined by the rain. Thank you!

Jeff in te office was extremely helpful when we discovered a "low tire pressure" warning light on our van. He fired up the compressor & double cvhecked with tire gauge (we had a sensor issue). Jeff also helped get the Roku TV working in our cabin, and had a space heater brought over as well since the best the wall mounted heater could do was 60 F. Cold, wet, raining late August needed more heat.

Ok if first stay at Valdez KOA and we didn’t want to leave. Loved everything they offered there and the upkeep of facilities on site was maintained well. Memories were made. Thank you.

We had a great stay. The glamping tent was so nice! I really enjoyed sitting on the deck with the propane fire, it was very relaxing and so much easier!

Excellent facilities. The bathrooms are very well kept, and very clean. Customer service is over the top. Excellent communication before, during and after our stay. We stayed at the Glamping tent, and it was much better than expected.

We only stayed in our cabin to sleep as the weather was so gorgeous in Valdez the four days we were there. So we spent all our time outside enjoying all the wildlife and sights. But the cabin was very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Also was very quiet at night times to get a good nights sleep before heading out exploring each day. Definitely will stay here again.

The glamping tent was AWESOME! I think it’s my new favorite way to lodge when traveling. The workers at the campground go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect! Meken was especially helpful and kind �

This one in Valdez was a very bad experience. Reserved a site that comes with a tent and awning all set up and supplied sleeping cots. Great idea except the tent leaked in a number of places, falling on us while sleeping and the cots supplied were worse than uncomfortable. It always rains in Valdez, tents should be maintained or replaced.

We had a great time staying at KOA Valdez! The cabin was very convenient, close to everywhere. My concerns are 1) it sometimes gets too cold indoor. Besides the heater in the room, people may need another heater. For us, the office lady was very kind and lent us one. 2) The shower drain was clogged when we first got in. It turned out that there was hair in the drain! Lots of hair…

The only thing I noticed, was that it seemed to me that facility didn’t supply maintenance with the materials they may need to get a job done right. I am a very observant person and noticed that the gentleman that worked on our tub was very smart and worked with what he had to get the job done and never said or complained one time, now this impressed me and gave me faith in his abilities.

Booked a stay at the Valdez KOA in their Cyclone toy hauler. We own a trailer ourselves in Idaho but was a bit nervous to see what it'd be like. Our family was impressed with the whole process. It was set up for us upon arrive with nice bedding and snacks for purchase. Lots of room for our family of 4. Great communication about check in and wild life in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Great experience! Grounds are clean and maintained everyday. Individual public bathrooms with reliable hot water. Great playground for kids. Very safe! We will be back.

Our family stayed during opening weekend 2026 and had a wonderful time. As it was opening weekend and the campground had recently made some improvements, we had a few minor issues the first day of our stay. That being said, the staff here is amazing and will treat you like family. Our cabin heat wasn't working properly and within 5 minutes of us reaching out they were knocking on the door with a space heater (even though it was after hours). The couple other minor concerns we had were addressed just as quickly and professionally. I highly recommend staying here. It's nice to be off the beaten path but close to everything as well. This place truly cares about your experience so if you have any issues- TELL THEM! Issues can always pop up anywhere you stay but this place will address your concerns quickly and with the same level of care they would a family member. 10/10 recommend. We will be staying again for sure!

Selena made our stay! We came in late and were super tired. We drove down from the Dalton and were in dire need of rest. Selena instantly made us feel at home, safe, and comfortable. The next morning she helped us to rent e bikes to take into town and we had an amazing time! Thank you for the recommendation and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this stop! Thank you Selena for one of our best memories of Alaska!

Great campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Their on-site laundry and showers are great. The showers in particular are in-door and heated as well as very clean (compared to other locations we've visited). Their staff is quite helpful and accommodating - they even saved a cinnamon roll for us, since they knew we'd be late getting back from our morning excursion.
