Very nice and clean campground and we’ll be staying again. I am glad we run water filters on our camper as there was lots of gravel in the filter and hose once we broke camp.

Other than the long walk to the bathroom from the tent site, it was great. Can't blame them for the rain, it's typical Valdez weather. Staff was very welcoming and kept the grounds and bathrooms clean. Will recommend to friends visiting Valdez.

We love Valdez and this KOA! It is our go to campground. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the campground is kept very clean. It was great to see they had events going on within the campground during the holiday weekend.

Nice campground, one of the only ones we say in Valdez that was not a crowed parking lot! Facilities were clean and employees were helpful and friendly. My only "complaint " was that the map led you to believe that the spaces were larger and spaced further apart than then are. Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was lovely after two weeks of tent camping. The private bathroom and shower were great, and we were pleasantly surprised to have a TV and wifi. The on-site amenities were also very nice. Loved having washer and dryers available for use. Very nice campground with friendly staff.

Great cabin at the Valdez KOA. We would definitely recommend for someone traveling in the Valdez area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. Very nice bathroom, with a outstanding shower.

It's always about first impressions. Lori and staff are on point and went well above to make sure we had everything we needed to start our week in Valdez. Lori is very responsive via text if service is needed. Valdez KOA is quite possibly one of our best KOA stays so far.

Jason is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed every interaction with him!!! KOA was clean, well maintained, easy to access, and at quiet time the entire KOA became silent - it was impressive. We used an Easy Camp (tent and cots provided), and it made our trip hassle free! Loved that our dog was welcomed. The only suggestion for improvement - spray for mosquitos

We stayed 2 nights June 9&10 2024, when we checked in they are friendly and vrey helpful it is a very clean and well kept campground, restrooms and showers clean and up to date. If we ever get to Valdez Alaska again we're looking forward to staying here. Thanks for your great hospitality.

By far the best campground experience we had in Valdez. The Koa is the only one offering some grass and shade by trees, it is also extremely well maintained. Facilities are old but working well and kept very clean. Kids love the playground. Finally 5 Stars for the staff, all we talked to were very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at the Valdez KOA. The bike path into town is a great convenience and the staff was top notch. We have already recommended people visit here.

We are a family of 5 traveling in Alaska. The camper was the perfect place for us to rent so we were close to the ferry. This camper could easily hold 6 to up to 8. They camp grounds looks well taken care of. Upon arriving we found the furnace would not run and get to the temp we set. They did bring us extra heaters.

We were very comfortable in our spot at KOA Valdez. Our neighbors were respectful & quiet. The bathhouse was clean and always had hot water. Thank you for the Military discount. We will be back.

Our family stayed during opening weekend 2026 and had a wonderful time. As it was opening weekend and the campground had recently made some improvements, we had a few minor issues the first day of our stay. That being said, the staff here is amazing and will treat you like family. Our cabin heat wasn't working properly and within 5 minutes of us reaching out they were knocking on the door with a space heater (even though it was after hours). The couple other minor concerns we had were addressed just as quickly and professionally. I highly recommend staying here. It's nice to be off the beaten path but close to everything as well. This place truly cares about your experience so if you have any issues- TELL THEM! Issues can always pop up anywhere you stay but this place will address your concerns quickly and with the same level of care they would a family member. 10/10 recommend. We will be staying again for sure!

Selena made our stay! We came in late and were super tired. We drove down from the Dalton and were in dire need of rest. Selena instantly made us feel at home, safe, and comfortable. The next morning she helped us to rent e bikes to take into town and we had an amazing time! Thank you for the recommendation and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this stop! Thank you Selena for one of our best memories of Alaska!

Great campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Their on-site laundry and showers are great. The showers in particular are in-door and heated as well as very clean (compared to other locations we've visited). Their staff is quite helpful and accommodating - they even saved a cinnamon roll for us, since they knew we'd be late getting back from our morning excursion.
