Stayed here primarily because of their promise of "best wifi in Alaska", and they werent kidding. I'd been trying to upload YouTube videos for weeks, but no one had sufficient internet. This place did. Nice folks. Good facility.

It was very clean and nice place to stay for the weekend. If I would make any change maybe put in another set of stairs to the bathrooms/ showers on the other side instead of 1 ramp

The campground is well maintained and good internet. We had booked 4 nights, but due to an electrical failure in our RV, our refrig. would not stay cold off grounds. We had just loaded up on fish. Lori was kind enough to refund us 2 days of our nightly fees. It was very kind of her on such short notice. We had to cut our vacation short and head home. Thank you so much for understanding our issue!

Cabins were clean, comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Plenty of hot water each day. We really enjoyed the fire pit area and the chairs provided to sit outside with friends. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great location. Could clean up the campsites and organize the fire pits. Didn't know what was ours. A little more space between campers would be nice. Staff was very helpful and organized upon arrival.

This KOA and campground in general was the cleanest and best operated campground I have stayed at. For real, the washroom facilities were so clean. They even supply a small towel for your feet. I am sure it keeps their floors dry as well, but having clean floors and feet is so nice. A great location as well. It is just out of the downtown area, and surrounded by trees, instead of parking lot camp

Site #2 was a little tight for a full hookup site. Campground was quiet and well kept, staff was friendly and we enjoyed the stay with our dog Echo!

Second time staying in the cabins. Cabin was ok but not as clean. Dust on the cabinets and cobwebs in the windows. This time the campground was pretty full. Lots of families. The grounds were nice and well kept.

Had an absolutely fantastic time. Campsite/ground does not have a crowded feeling like other RV/ cabins in the area. Had a deluxe cabin for the weekend which was next to a small pond with a fire pit and charcoal grill. Felt extremely safe and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing.

We arrived after 8 pm but instructions were clear. Bath houses were kept clean and the grounds were nicely groomed. Easy in and easy out. Close to town but far enough away to have open space to walk dogs and enjoy quiet. Didn’t feel like a parking lot like some campgrounds.

Stayed 3 nights. KOA was clean, well maintained, service was accommodating, personable staff and offered place for dogs to run.

The cabin was quite spacious including the full bath and met all our needs for our two-night stay. Two fine gents welcomed and checked us in. I definitely recommend them and would stay again in the future.

We stayed after participating in the Fireweed Bike Ride. Arrived very late. We had pre-registered so found our site information taped on the office door, as promised. So happy that warm showers were accessible at that late hour. This is the second time we stayed there. As usual, found friendly staff, clean restrooms, showers and grounds. Very quiet at night.

Payed for a tent campsite because I was driving a camper van and in no need for any hook ups. Self sustained. Just enjoy KOA for tthe safety, showers and laundry…I was given a site right in the middle of the complex! No privacy! There was ample availability of other tent site on the perimeter with semi grass/gravel parking spots for cars; didn’t quite understand her logic for putting me there?

Our family stayed during opening weekend 2026 and had a wonderful time. As it was opening weekend and the campground had recently made some improvements, we had a few minor issues the first day of our stay. That being said, the staff here is amazing and will treat you like family. Our cabin heat wasn't working properly and within 5 minutes of us reaching out they were knocking on the door with a space heater (even though it was after hours). The couple other minor concerns we had were addressed just as quickly and professionally. I highly recommend staying here. It's nice to be off the beaten path but close to everything as well. This place truly cares about your experience so if you have any issues- TELL THEM! Issues can always pop up anywhere you stay but this place will address your concerns quickly and with the same level of care they would a family member. 10/10 recommend. We will be staying again for sure!

Selena made our stay! We came in late and were super tired. We drove down from the Dalton and were in dire need of rest. Selena instantly made us feel at home, safe, and comfortable. The next morning she helped us to rent e bikes to take into town and we had an amazing time! Thank you for the recommendation and an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this stop! Thank you Selena for one of our best memories of Alaska!

Great campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Their on-site laundry and showers are great. The showers in particular are in-door and heated as well as very clean (compared to other locations we've visited). Their staff is quite helpful and accommodating - they even saved a cinnamon roll for us, since they knew we'd be late getting back from our morning excursion.
