We had the best time! Campground was clean & exactly what we were looking for. Our site (#19) was well laid out, nestled in the trees & very level. The staff was super friendly & communication about wildlife activity within the campground was much appreciated! While this particular campground doesn't have sewer hookups we appreciated the free honey wagon service! Can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing time. Staff was great, attentive and my whole family was impressed with the measure they have taken to deal with COVID. The constant roaming of an employee on the golf cart made us feel great about the persistent bear we dealt with. We’ve already said we will be back here whenever we drive down to Valdez!

Valdez KOA was wonderful! Great sites, attentive hosts (esp Lori!) and safe! There were several bear presence and they took immediate action to text everyone and notify them w instructions on staying safe. We will absolutely be back in the future.

In my opinion, the best RV campground in Valdez. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The bathhouse were cleaned constantly and the campground is clean. We saw the staff around all the campground all day and they responded to our calls and text immediately. The staff really care about the guest and the campground and it shows.

Went to Vadez for fishing and camping. Extremely good time. Wonderful staff at KOA. Loved it and will be back. We got a flat tire on our camper trailer and they were helpful with getting me a compressor and were genuinely concerned with our well being.

Staff-- helpful --campground neat and clean but what stood out in my mind was the attention to the bathrooms in this time of covid-- after living in alaska for 50 years I have come to expect lack luster service and amenities -- the Valdez KOA met high standards for any campground facility in the lower 48

I had a wonderful stay at KOA. The good folks there treated me with kindness and answered any questions I may have had quickly and to make sure I was happy during my stay. I expect to return next year and KOA will certainly be the place I will want to continue to stay each year going forward.

The campground was easy to get in and out of, and we loved the trees and natural fauna. The hosts were extremely accommodating and the restrooms were exceptionally clean and nice. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Valdez, and will look for other KOA campgrounds in other areas.

We Love Valdez KOA. We stay here every time we come to Valdez. It's a ways out of town but it is quiet and beautiful. Very spacious camp sites, clean, the staff is extremely friendly. I would reccomend this place to anyone and everyone. Thank you!

Nice campground. Showers were nice and clean. Only negative was that someone stole our firewood while we were gone fishing. I paid 8 dollars per bundle. Had to go to town and buy more.

We had fun in Valdez and the children had fun playing in the open play area. The bathrooms were kept clean and we felt comfortable with the cleaning protocols taken by KOA. Thank you for a nice trip.

Loved everything! Well laid out with amenities that was super helpful for tent camping with kids. While COVID sucks, they make adaptations that keep the fun going despite regulations. Will definitely stay again in the future.

My wife and I stayed in a cabin. The place was clean, private, cozy and very comfortable. Even with Covid restrictions the camp hosts were only a text message away and responded immediately. We Love Valdez KOA!

Our stay was very good. There were a few times that dogs were barking for a long time, they were gone the next day. When we go again to Valdez, we will choose Valdez KOA over what is offered in town since they have nothing to offer but gravel parking lots. Would be 5 out of 5 if ice were made available to KOA members instead of your staff, but overall the stay was enjoyable.

Very nice campground for the style (RV heaven). Super clean and friendly. Lori was amazing and provided outstanding customer service. I appreciated the informative welcome text message and how quickly (and nicely) she responded to all of my questions. I have never stayed at a KOA before; you all made a great first impression.

Everything was great. No issues and the on site facilities were very clean. The waffle place is amazing and should be continued business on the site. Overall the camp site was clean and ready for setup. Staff was very friendly and communication was superb. Highly recommended and will stay here again next time camping in Valdez.

We really enjoyed our time in Valdez. There was some much to see & do. Laundry services could be updated it took more than once to dry clothes.

A very nice, secluded campground in the Valdez area! Many of the sites are heavily wooded, with natural barriers between neighbors that give you a great sense of privacy. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful, and customer-oriented. One of our favorite surprises was being able to rent e-bikes right at the campground! We spent the day riding the bike paths to the Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery, enjoying lunch at the Valdez harbor, and then checking out Glacier Lake. It was an awesome way to explore Valdez on a beautiful day. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend Valdez KOA!

spent the Last two weeks of August at KOA Valdez over the last two years and have made reservations to return next season in ‘27. The personnel or second to none. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We rented a camper that is station at the KOA (the 19' Olympia) and it was great for our family of four (2 under 3 years old). It had basic kitchen tools so we could cook our breakfast sausages and make tea. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to keep the camper a comfortable temperature. It had a bathroom or we walked to the campground bathrooms (both in great and clean condition). The camper was in a great spot within the KOA and our kids loved playing in the playground area as well as the sausage and pancake breakfast. Just outside of town and next to the bike path- its a perfect location that doesn't feel to crowded. Overall a great experience- we will be back again!
