Second stay, staff is very courteous and helpful, quiet campground. Bathhouses are clean, shower did take several minutes to heat up, but I once it did, it was fine.

We loved our riverfront site. It was hard to get our large 5th wheel into our space, but the workers were so helpful and guided us until we were perfectly in our spot. Everyone was very friendly and the campground was beautiful and well-maintained. We would absolutely recommend this RV park!

LOVE the Townsend KOA! The camp ground itself is east in and out and so beautiful, the staff are delightful and helpful, the super clean bath house is great, level sites and oh my, the river is peaceful. Definitely a 10/10 and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

Great staff that are very friendly and helpful. Sites are very tight to park fifth wheel with trees and dumpsters extremely close to the road. Large boulders also line the driveways to keep vehicles from turning off the roadway. Bathroom and showers are very clean and easily accessible.

This is a beautiful campsite! Everything was great - except for poor/non-working Wi-Fi. We couldn't get ours to connect at all (we were in bay 53). We are with T-Mobile which struggled a bit in the mountains, so we needed that Wi-Fi to work. I am sure this could be resolved with the addition of a repeaters throughout the campsite.

We were there to attend the Highland Games. The campground is very pretty and it’s in a great location that makes it easy to get into town or into the Smokies National Park. The camping lots are very nicely appointed, nice tables, a fire ring and a double rocker chair, all on a nicely paved patio. The space was level, most look as though they are. My only ding is poor internet.

Very enjoyable, loved all the new flowers placed around the campground to freshen it up. Tom and Kevin that ushered us in were very hospitable. Only issue I saw was that some of the picnic tables that are warped need to be replaced.

Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and clean. Spaces are tight but did not seem cramped. Staff is wonderful. Attention to maintenance needs was quick.

Grounds are beautiful and well maintained! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area, which gave us so many options for fun and relaxation. Highly recommend this location, we definitely plan to return every year!

We enjoyed our stay from first day to last. You won't find a better campground in Townsend. The staff is amazing, the campground is clean, the sites are roomy and shady. We we be returning here soon!

Townsend/GreatSmokies KOA is one of THE best campgrounds we have stayed at over the past 10 years. We have stayed at campgrounds across the USA many times and cannot think of any that is better kept or nicer looking. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. It feels like a small community of very nice (and quiet) neighbors.

SIte was OK. All sites are really close together. The cabin area bathhouse was dirty several times. But issue is the pricing has gone up way too much for a return visit.

The staff were absolutely amazing this time. We stay here probably 5 times a year, it is our favorite campground in the Townsend area. Everything was so clean and tidy. Our spot was amazing. We love the patio sites, we usually stay by the river but this time we couldn't get in to a river spot. Over all this campground gets more than a 5, it gets 100 out of 100.

This is an awesome campground. Our 2nd trip and we are always happy with our stay. We had a river front spot. The staff is always welcoming, helpful and very friendly. We plan on going back next year.

We have stayed at your RV Park many times over the past 20 years. We love the river front sites and find them so peaceful. Our last 3 days on #83 were anything but due to 5 French bulldogs on #84 who were fenced in. We had to close our windows and shades to keep out the noise. The office staff advised that there was no dog limit. That may be something to revisit so this doesn't happen to others

We loved this KOA, from the moment we pulled in and a staff member walked out immediately to greet us. Staff was SO attentive, friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds were lovely throughout the campground, with beautiful flowers and landscaping. The location was great, too.

One of the best koas we’ve stayed at (28 and counting). Friday night music was better than music at Nashville koa. Beautiful riverside and friendly people.

we have stayed here in March for 3 weeks and everyone here is beyond helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The staff here is "A" class and will always come back to this KOA when we are in the area. Keep up the great work!!

Amazing campsites right on little river. The staff responds instantly to all needs. And it's located perfectly in Townsend to walk to stuff and short drives to everything else.

This KOA Campground is a great location while visiting the Smoky Mountains! Beautiful grounds with lots of trees for shade. The staff was very accommodating and friendly!
