This was our 3rd year back to the KOA! We love the smokies and KOA has made it such an easy stay to "camp" but have so many extra amenities. The entire campground is well kept and cabins/bathhouse super clean! We've stayed in #8 for 3 years! We love it! The trees have grown up a lot over the year so the view wasn't as great as previous years, so we hope to stay in cabin #8 next year!

We had a great time this last weekend as usual! The staff were wonderful they worked with us our cabin was wonderful and we always come back. They even remembered our names. Please keep up the Great work.

We stayed in a DC cabin. We had ants on counter & bed . The Tv speaker was distorted could not understand. Shower was nice & AC was great, The grill was clean. Cost was as high as a nice hotel in town, will get hotel next time.

The people who run this KOA are so very friendly and always ready to help with anything! This is our 6th year to come with family and something we all look forward to. Very clean and well kept.

We had an excellent time! All the staff were very hospitable and knowledgeable of the area. Our cabin was clean and stocked with extras. All of the campers were very friendly and respected the quite hours. Very impressed.

We had a pretty good time. The people and the campground were great. We only learned that next time we will get a bigger cabin as the beds were not that comfortable in cc5. Also wish the pool would have been fixed We only got to enjoy it one day until it closed for chemical problems. Neighbors were loud after 10 and didn't like that either.

We loved our site - 116. The shade was great and the site was perfect for us. We would like to try a site on the river one day. The bath house was awesome and the restrooms were always clean. We enjoyed the pool with the grands. And the time playing in the river with them was our favorite. The greeting as we first pulled into the campground (and being escorted to our site) was an added touch.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The river was great! The pool was not open until 4 pm one day and the kids waited all day to get in. The floor of the cabin I stayed in had not been swept. My sister’s cabin had a pull out couch with crumbs & dirt on it. There was dog hair under the queen bed from someone else who stayed there as well. The cabins were not as clean as they were last year.

It was a good stay. We love our Townsend KOA. The only issue I had was that the shower in deluxe cabin four does not maintain hot water. It gets hot and then goes cold and then gets hot again and then goes cold again repeatedly.

Our stay at the campground was nice and relaxing! The camping cabin we stayed in was very clean! The only issue we ran into was the bath house showers didn’t seem to be cleaned daily. One night there was an issue with the hot water not working, which was unfortunate for us as we were looking forward to a hot shower, but I know that was out of their control.

Very nice campground to stay at. The cabins were really clean had a great location to pigeon forge. Far enough away to be away from the craziest and close enough to be able to go and do the attractions in town. Staff was wonderful very friendly and helpful with information. I forgot a bag of trash on our porch and a bear came by so please be very mindful of your trash and food outside.

This is our third year in camping cabin 14 and we love it! The view, the amenities, the sweet CHARM people with their activities. It all adds to the summer magic. The showers were clean, staff friendly. The only thing is that I've and firewood are expensive so we drove to town to get it elsewhere. Looking forward to coming back next year

We had a great stay in our clean Camping Cabin. Appreciated close proximity to the river, pool, and SMNP/Townsend. We did not appreciate how our rate/cost was much higher than the other camping cabins for our dates, bathrooms/soap needed addressed sooner, and the office staff could offer better concierge service. Your website promotes more family activities than what are actually offered.

Upgrades are nice. Customer service sucks. Ridiculous price! We were told cooking supplies were in cabin. Nothing available! I had to beg for garbage bags and ration the toilet paper. Help with air conditioner came seven hours late. When leaving the lady was bothered that there was another cabin to clean. She said , thanks. We have tears of memories here. We won’t be back.

We had made reservations 5 months earlier and rented a cabin and a camping spot Requesting that they be near each other. Upon arrival we found out that they were located on either side of the campground. Only after working with the desk clerk and an additional payment were able to get a closer space

We stayed for a weekend in cabin 7. The site itself was spacious, quiet and had a great view of the river. The campground, bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to stay when visiting the national park.

Everyone there was nice and very helpful. Cabin was clean and so was the public restrooms and bath house. Enjoyed my stay there, enjoyed the stream and my dog loved being able to swim in it. There were lots of activities for families while I was there

Very nice park. Pleasant, courteous staff. Only problems were: 1) reported the toilet clogged at 0815 first morning there, waited 7 hours, went and got my own plunger and unclogged it, 2) TV reception was so fuzzy as to be unwatchable, never really fixed while we were there. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay and would go again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Deluxe cabin and our son and his family enjoyed their tent site and then the camping cabin. We loved spending time by the river fishing and wading in the water. The pool was nice too. All amenities were well maintained and the staff was exceptional! We look forward to a return trip soon.

We haven’t stayed there in a few years, but the cabin we got this time was pretty rundown (DC-1). The sofa was torn, there was a place on the wall where there had been a bad water leak and hadn’t been fixed, and one of the bathroom vents was backed up and smelled pretty bad. We were outside most of the time so it wasn’t terrible, but it’s not what was used to getting for $250/NT from KOA

We’ve stayed with you for many years and typically love the campground. This year instead of bringing our camper we decided to stay in the “Deluxe” riverfront cabins. We will never stay in them again. The cleanliness: 2/10. Mold in the shower. Absolutely disgusting bed sheets (pee stains,hair). Very pleasant. Convenient & comfortable. Bed felt lower at the head end: maybe needs to be rotated? Shower was great. Fire pit was not practical—maybe a community fire pit would be more enjoyable?

The most beautiful and cleanest park we have ever stayed at Our only issue we couldn't stay longer We are already planning our next trip and it will revolve around staying here!

Nice place. Looks well maintained overall considering it's likely been a campground for many years. Lots of very shady campsites plus plenty of riverside sites. Full hookups are a plus. Staff were friendly and helpful. They came out to my truck the moment I arrived and guided me to my site. The gentleman that guided us also helped us back in. Our grass was barely tall and they asked if it was okay if they came to cut it. We didn't even notice it needed to be cut. Great campground just minutes away from the national park. Will absolutely stay again if we're in the area and need a campground. Great job KOA crew!
