Our stay was great! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We love coming here! Our only problem was that our small cooler was stolen off our cabin porch. We have never had a problem before. See you next year!

We have stayed at KOA Townsend for years. This stay was in deluxe cabin/where we have stayed b4. Dissipointed for several reasons but after paying $300 per night did not expect mice droppings on kitchen table & in my toiletries. Reported mice & were told we were in the woods. Shelley was a bright spot & other staff but not all. Too many other/better options. Will never sleep with mice again!

I sent an email to the Campground. Our Deluxe Cabin was nasty. It was not cleaned well at all and I am not happy. The campground itself is beautiful and if you have your own camper it is great! As far as staying in the cabins...I don't recommend it.

Me and my husband came for a 4 day weekend to relax and unwind. Our cabin was clean and welcoming. We loved the fire pit and the patio. We always come back to this location.

Koa is always our number one place to stay when going out of town but this location was by far the worse all around. 10/10 would not recommend

The Sauntering Santa Report, Just a great place to camp. Very clean facilities and great shower area. Quiet as well and nice to listen to the river while you sleep.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! A. I was charged $80+ for an extra vehicle which was parked exactly where I was told at check-in to park it, with NO reference to being charged $20 a night, nor being required to park across the street—a guideline which I cannot find in print in ANY of your literature. NO COMMUNICATION. B. The bunk bed mattresses were too thin in the middle for anyone to sleep comfortably.

Cabin was full of mice. On tables countertops, in beds, clothes, and luggage. Booked 2 nights. Left after 1. Charged for 2. Front desk staff said “well it is camping”. Been camping 30 years and never had a problem until this. Definitely won’t stay in a KOA Deluxe cabin again.

Bathrooms and cabin were clean. The fall decorations were beautiful and cheerful. Check in and check out were quick and pleasant.

Staff was pleasant, professional and prompt. Campground was well kept and quiet. However, it appeared that the cabin had not been used recently. The AC unit was dirty and smelled of mildew and there were dead ants in the tub from a pest control spray. Staff responded within 30 minutes to clean the tub and AC unit and replace the AC filter. Unfortunately, it took 24 hours for the smell to go away.

We love this KOA. It is so beautiful, they go above and beyond to accommodate you. The bathrooms and showers are always clean. We stay here as often as possible.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The little community inside the campground was great also. Other campers friendly and the environment with the little river so tranquil. We loved the activities that were open from Hayrides and Tye Dye to even having a church service on Sunday. We live in Blount County and have already said we want to comeback. RV site and Cabin were perfect. Best KOA so Far

We finally rented 1 of the cabins on the river for my husband's 60th bday. The outside area was beautiful & well-maintained. I was disappointed with the lack of maintenance on the inside of this cabin. The kitchen was very nice, but the bathroom was a mess - short toilet, shower head a joke and unusable, tiles missing - generally a mess. Saying that we will still visit this KOA. Great staff.

Beautiful property with many amenities, friendly staff, convenient gas station and wonderful store with a wide variety of goods to choose from. The two room camping cabin was perfect for our needs and close to the restrooms. Loved sitting on the porch and walking to the nearby creeks to enjoy the views and falling leaves.

We stayed in a camping cabin and were blown away with the cleanliness of the cabin. Even under the beds were spotless! We loved that we had a fire ring with a cooking grate, a clean grill, and a picnic table. We had plenty of room to cook outside and enjoy the fall weather! The showers and dish washing stations were incredibly clean. The staff were all kind and helpful. The entire place was clean!

We rented a two-bedroom cabin for our stay, one adult and three teenagers. Cabin was clean and comfortable, as were the bathrooms and showers. We enjoyed all the amenities and the beautiful, well-kept grounds. Enjoyed playing in the adjacent river! We will come back here again!

I stayed in cabin 8 one night and one night in DC2. I'd stay again in either one. DC2 is for those who want the comforts of home on the river. Cabin 8 is for those who want a more primitive camping experience. To me the Campground is a work of art where the beauty of nature comes first. I couldn't have designed better myself. The staff is top notch and will attend to all your needs. 5 Star staff.

Cades cove is a great place to go and enjoy nature at its best, pigeon forge has a lot of wonderful stores and amusement parks along the strip

This is a "Holiday" KOA so it has amenities for campers who stay away and look for entertainment. It is just outside and entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The "Little River" flows by the edge of the campground then into the National Park. some sites back up to the river. There are many trees in the campground. The bathroom and other building facilities are dated in design but clean, neat and spotless in appearance. I feel the whole campground is well maintained. I have a high-end site, $100/night but I like the space. All sites are gravel. Mine was in excellent condition. Very quiet at night. No AT&T cell service but the campground WiFi worked very well all the time.
