Very nice campground to stay at. The cabins were really clean had a great location to pigeon forge. Far enough away to be away from the craziest and close enough to be able to go and do the attractions in town. Staff was wonderful very friendly and helpful with information. I forgot a bag of trash on our porch and a bear came by so please be very mindful of your trash and food outside.

This is our third year in camping cabin 14 and we love it! The view, the amenities, the sweet CHARM people with their activities. It all adds to the summer magic. The showers were clean, staff friendly. The only thing is that I've and firewood are expensive so we drove to town to get it elsewhere. Looking forward to coming back next year

We had a great stay in our clean Camping Cabin. Appreciated close proximity to the river, pool, and SMNP/Townsend. We did not appreciate how our rate/cost was much higher than the other camping cabins for our dates, bathrooms/soap needed addressed sooner, and the office staff could offer better concierge service. Your website promotes more family activities than what are actually offered.

Upgrades are nice. Customer service sucks. Ridiculous price! We were told cooking supplies were in cabin. Nothing available! I had to beg for garbage bags and ration the toilet paper. Help with air conditioner came seven hours late. When leaving the lady was bothered that there was another cabin to clean. She said , thanks. We have tears of memories here. We won’t be back.

We had made reservations 5 months earlier and rented a cabin and a camping spot Requesting that they be near each other. Upon arrival we found out that they were located on either side of the campground. Only after working with the desk clerk and an additional payment were able to get a closer space

We stayed for a weekend in cabin 7. The site itself was spacious, quiet and had a great view of the river. The campground, bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to stay when visiting the national park.

Everyone there was nice and very helpful. Cabin was clean and so was the public restrooms and bath house. Enjoyed my stay there, enjoyed the stream and my dog loved being able to swim in it. There were lots of activities for families while I was there

Very nice park. Pleasant, courteous staff. Only problems were: 1) reported the toilet clogged at 0815 first morning there, waited 7 hours, went and got my own plunger and unclogged it, 2) TV reception was so fuzzy as to be unwatchable, never really fixed while we were there. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay and would go again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Deluxe cabin and our son and his family enjoyed their tent site and then the camping cabin. We loved spending time by the river fishing and wading in the water. The pool was nice too. All amenities were well maintained and the staff was exceptional! We look forward to a return trip soon.

We haven’t stayed there in a few years, but the cabin we got this time was pretty rundown (DC-1). The sofa was torn, there was a place on the wall where there had been a bad water leak and hadn’t been fixed, and one of the bathroom vents was backed up and smelled pretty bad. We were outside most of the time so it wasn’t terrible, but it’s not what was used to getting for $250/NT from KOA

We’ve stayed with you for many years and typically love the campground. This year instead of bringing our camper we decided to stay in the “Deluxe” riverfront cabins. We will never stay in them again. The cleanliness: 2/10. Mold in the shower. Absolutely disgusting bed sheets (pee stains,hair). I had to clean the ac and mini split filters because they were so clogged with dirt. Overpriced fo

Very pleasant. Convenient & comfortable. Bed felt lower at the head end: maybe needs to be rotated? Shower was great. Fire pit was not practical—maybe a community fire pit would be more enjoyable?

Very happy with our DC on the river. The landscaping around the cabin was perfectly executed in a way that made it feel isolated, despite a packed full holiday weekend. The location was a short distance from the stores in Ware Valley, where old time Gatlinburg's hand made arts and crafts is still alive. One of the best we have stayed at. Our cabin was next to the river, and it was so beautiful. Had a porch swing, grill, and fire pit. Showers were excellent. We rented bikes for Cades Cove right at the campground. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Felt like staying in the woods even though we were right by the road. Easy access to the park without the mess of Gatlinburg.

we came for the bike round at Cades Cove - the e bikers did not ride in single file and one time, two passed me at the same time on either side of me after saying "stay right where you are I'm on your right" - as I was trying to go up a steep hill. They were whizzing past us, and then stopping in large groups. they need a speed limit and group size limit and some etiquette

As usual for a KOA, the campground was clean, and very well organized. But the cream on the top was the staff, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about local things of interest. WE stayed in a cabin, and it was meticulously clean and the layout was great. the only complaint I have is the "toddler "toilets. they were too short, while using my knees were higher than the seat.

Thought my camping cabin and all the facilities nearby were great. Items in camp store were very over priced but that is typical. Only thing I didn't like was the constant, strong smell of campfire smoke. I assume campers weren't using dry wood and it smoked a lot. Not the fault of KOA.

KOA is always fantastic! Particularly the Townsend KOA. always so courteous and so available and so close to the Smoky Mountain national Park. The KOA – Townsend is our go to home away from home for all things adventures in our favorite national park

Awesome weekend! Everything was just as advertised on website. Clean and beautiful campground. The only thing that could have been better is the porch swept and railing cleaned of spiderwebs and outdoor furniture was really dirty just a spring cleaning needed. But the cabin inside was very clean and tidy absolute pleasure to stay in. The staff is very friendly and kind! We will be back for sure

This campground is great. Most sites are shaded which is wonderful. We stayed in a site that was electric and water hookup but they have several that are full hook ups with patios and fire pits. Would definitely recommend this one. It's at the foothill of the Great Smoky Mountains. Easy access to the park and a quick, 35 -45 min or so drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is you're looking for touristic fun.
