First time staying here. It’s a very nice campground, deluxe studio cabin was very clean and comfortable, would definitely stay here again. Very peaceful and shaded area to relax and enjoy time with your family.

We loved our cabin and the campgrounds. So clean and peaceful. Having access to thr river was great for the kids and the pool was nice clean and refreshing. Can't wait until next year!

There were no kid activities as stated on your website. We brought our grandkids and were counting on these activities. We even called the week before and specifically inquired about tie dying and were not told that they would not be having any of the kid activities as implied on your website.

Fantastic facilities; River easy access, playground and pool. Sites and restrooms very clean and well maintained. Debbie (front desk) and Tom (site helper) were very friendly and professional. We enjoyed our second stay so much we are booking a third stay.

Cleanliness was poorer in the east men’s restroom than in previous stays in 2023. Paper towel dispenser was also empty for about 24 hours

Very nice location. The grounds need attention. Tall weeds throughout the campground and in the landscape. The pool was closed our first day and they shut off the water to the campground for several hours on our last day. There are signs at check in that they are very short staffed which could add to the issues.

I was assigned to spot 110. It was noisy as it sits VERY close to the restrooms. This visit was not near as enjoyable as past visits due to the noise and traffic. I have loved my visits in the past, but I hope I will not be assigned the spot again!

it felt a bit over crowded. I had a local person visit and they were treated poorly. The staff for activities and front desk were so kind, but a few employees were clearly not happy with their jobs.

Nice campground!! We’ve been coming for years but that’s probably going to change. The showers and cabins need to be cleaned better. Stayed here for years and it’s going downhill. It’s pricey to stay and I didn’t feel like we got what we paid for this time. I found a dirty sock under the mattress of the bunk. Just disappointed in how unkept things are now. Very short staffed.

Neat and clean. After our first night the kids on the creek we believe trashed the men’s bathroom, if you don’t, blink exterior cameras would be a good idea.

It’s a great place! All the staff are very friendly. I also love how every day and night they had like a kids camp and then at night they had like bingo and all that fun stuff for the kids to do really enjoy staying here!

The campground is absolutely lovely. You can tell the staff really care. Every facility was very clean. The only suggestion I could make would be to change the lock on the unisex/shower stalls to one where you can visibly see if it is use or not.

stayed a 4 days reservation, decided to stay an extra day had to relocate but was easy to add the extra day .. good people , clean restrooms and showers .. cright on the river. very nice

Nice KOA, the only issue was the cabin did not have water pressure in the shower. Had to use the shower house, which was OK.

We really enjoyed our stay. Most of the sites are shaded. Easy access to the creek on the backside of the grounds. Pool is nice! The staff were always helpful and so friendly! We will definitely be returning!

This is our third time staying at this campground and we have already booked again for next year. The campsite is very well maintained and the team onsite were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint, which is minor, was the A/C in the bedroom-definitely hope it’s replaced before we return, as it was as loud as a freight train; which made sleeping a challenge. Thanks all!!

We've have been coming to this KOA for 23 yrs first in a camper and over the past 5 yrs in your cabins. This stay left us less than happy with the rate we pd. The tv's were not picking up and pictures horrid, we had ants in the cabin and in general the staff was just not the same in re to coming around, being friendly and like family. Loved our stay at Townsend. Campsites are spacious, clean with plenty of shade. Your employees were on top of cleanup as campers left there sites.

Very nice sites, very friendly staff. Sites were nice but a little too close together. A lot of shade which we like. The pool was nice and the Little River is awesome. The only real complaint was the weak TV cable channels. Very poor reception.

Only reason for 4 stars is because the pool was down and other guests said it wasn’t the first time but that neither time were they told ahead of time that the pool was not currently open.

This was our first stay at this campground and we had a fantastic time. The campground is gorgeous and we'll maintained. The wifi is a little slow and spotty, but that just means getting out and doing more.

I love this camp ground . We try to go every year and rent a cabin. The staff is so friendly. The camp ground is a 10 on neatness and clean. I wish they would have had something special for the 4th of July.

This KOA Campground is a great location while visiting the Smoky Mountains! Beautiful grounds with lots of trees for shade. The staff was very accommodating and friendly!
