I don't particularly like camping in an all gravel, dusty lot. Other than that the amenities are aged but good.

Stayed at the campground for a family gathering at the pavilion by the lake. Employees were very helpful. Campsites were stacked on top of each other and no grass areas at the sites. Congested parking everywhere.

We arrived at 8pm and the office was closed at 5pm. Our info was taped to the office door which was no big deal except someone was parked in our assigned spot. Could not get anyone to answer the phone so had to deal with the other RV ourselves! Bathrooms need serious renovation and office/store smells like stale cigarettes.

Compared to other KOA's that we have stayed at this one was disappointing. 2 showers in the women's bathroom for the whole campground. Stayed in cabin 6 that was a converted shed. A/C, fridge and power was nice. Would opt to stay in one of the larger log cabins with a porch swing & nicer outdoor space. Not much to do here unless you plan to drive down to the lake for the day. Friendly staff!

The park is on white gravel roads, a little dusty. Nice, wide spaces, a few trees. The park owners were very attentive at check-in and friendly. We ate dinner at the nearby Flamingo Grill which had very good food. The lake isn't far away, however there was a lot of algae at the time.

The campground is nice and close to the lake. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning.

Kids had an amazing time and everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. Didn’t expect electricity, fridge or AC in the bunk house so that was an awesome surprise!

The staff at this campground is so helpful and friendly. We spend a couple of months here every summer because my husband is a fisherman. The site is large enough for our RV, the boat, and our truck. They are very pet friendly which is important to us. The park is maintained with grass cut and sites level.

much prefer grass over this locations gravel sites. The lake was not good for swimming, and the RV park did not have a pool. Sites were very close together.

The tent sites are tiny. The bathrooms need renovating. Usually the hosts ride around and check on things, never saw one employee outside the office. Not much to do. The staff was very pleasant.

Checked-in late but site assignment was prepared. Loved the grass tent site. Would be better to plant trees for shade from hot summer sun. Clean restrooms & shower. Dish washing sink was likewise clean. Very good KOA operations.

Nothing but gravel and dirt surrounding campsite. Ran out of hot water half way through my shower. No bathrooms seemed clean nor updated. Not very happy. I travel all over the united states using koa. This was the most disappointing KOA.

Came to fish and relax. Loved the store, especially the bookstore. Campsites and facilities were clean and it stayed quiet at night. Only really down thing I have to say is, there wasn’t really any recreational facilities like a pool, playground, mini golf, etc

This is a campsite for fisherman not campers. The toilets were discussing, one stall was plugged up not working. You walk into the main office you get hit with a cloud of cigarette smoke. To far form main highway, and it’s no where near the town of Townsend.

This is not a campground, it’s a pothole filled parking lot that has hook ups in it. A true dump! Long term residence out number campers 2 to 1!

Staff were very friendly. Site we were in was next to a trailer that appeared to be a full time resident. Stepped in dog feces on our site from that site. They parked in front of their trailer making it difficult for us to pull our trailer out the next morning. There was an old dog crate, bicycles, and various other items littering the yard. Site very unkempt. Loud late at night. Unhappy stay.

We rented cabin #4. We thought it was great. Very clean, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed wasn’t all that comfortable, but not a big deal. We plan to be back next year for sure!

The surrounding view was nice, and the cabin structure was awesome, but the campground itself needs a lot of updates and care. The outside bathrooms and showers are run down and in need of some maintenance and TLC. The cabin curtains on the windows do not fit the windows so there was not a lot of privacy. The grounds themselves are in need of mowing and weed killer. I will not stay there again.

Campground & staff were amazing. Showers are a super nice thing to have. Stayed in the bunkhouse & our large family was super cozy....mosquitoes were bad but can't do much about that.

Hot real hit washhouse, new washers in laundry, helpfull staff and good asortedcshop on reasonable prices. Like to come back and stay again.

I've used there place to refill my boat a few times and bought some drinks and bait. good little lakeside store.
