We had a great experience here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Park is laid out nice. Felt like we had plenty of room on our site unlike some other KOAs where you feel like you are right on top of your neighbors. We will definitely be back again.

campground nice corparation took over charge for everything looked on site pick area out paid deposit got move to other are and got charged $30 to stay in other area did not pick site number ask to be next to or close to friends BATHROOM none working for last 2 yrs said they can put u any were the want 2 even u did not pick location paid deposit for area to stay in and get moved we moved 6 time BS

Poor location. Hard to back into. Thankful for a couple of gentleman who assisted me in finding my spot as I checked in late and the map very poorly done. Signs need updated directing to the locations.Very dusty. Second pond bone dry. I would not recommend.

Other than having to change our site (too early in season) our new site was fantastic! Staff was understanding and went above and beyond to accommodate our situation!

Spoke to Sarah over the phone same day. Very pleasant and easy. She put me in the new M zone. It’s a newly created fully serviced area. There is quite a bit of work to do to finish the grading in this area. I think this is a mandatory requirement of a serviced RV site to be level. There was a solid picnic table and old truck tire rim for a fire rim. Services including wifi were excellent.

I can’t possibly say enough great things about the staff here. Everyone and I mean all of the staff members we came in contact with were wonderful. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back next month with more members of our family.

When we checked in we were told that we are being upgraded to a pull through spot. When going to our spot I almost got stuck in the mud. They put us in a very low area where all the water runs and it rained the entire stay. The roads In the park are extremely rough and narrow. One of the worst KOA's that I have stayed at. Water quality was poor because of yellow tint even with a new water filter

Nice location and very friendly staff. Price is the reason for my rating. Our pull thru site was next to the adjacent freeway. The closest bathroom/shower building was a long walk away. All this for north of 100 bucks. Maybe during summer it might be worth it but probably not for us.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Was very early in the camping season and we felt safe and comfortable there. Had to have our propane tanks refilled and it didn't take five minutes to accomplish this. Great visit - even if it was only an overnight stop on our trip back east.

Very nice park, well maintained and clean. Only issue and it's not the park's fault...it rained, snowed and rained the 3days we were there. Everything was soggy��

It would have been very helpful if the bathrooms were open for our guests. We traveled far and we love KOA’S so we’re really disappointed. Also, that our guests had to pay $20.00 to park a car their and NO BATHROOMS ! Seriously

It’s so muddy to get there,they need to add more stone on drive ways, very wet there it’s to expensive for the mess you have to deal with

Nice clean spacious sites, friendly staff. Roads inside the park could use more stone. Not a dig against the KOA, but the last mile of Ledge road going to the campground is unpaved... if its raining, your truck and trailer will be a disaster.

We really enjoyed the stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very good about working with us on extending our stay. The dogs enjoyed the dog park.

Loved the rusticness. Campground was huge. Although only there for one night, our site was perfect. For anyone with dogs, the paw pen was perfect! Have already recommended this campground to friends and family.

It was in April, great weekend, although a bit cold. I do believe the driveways need grated but I know it is early in the season. Staff was very friendly and helpful!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. This was our first time staying here and we will consider coming back again. The only thing I would say that could be improved was the leveling of the sites. I should have checked before I decided to un-hook and level because my trailer wheels were off of the ground. Bring enough boards for a couple of rows if you are staying in sites backing up to the woods.

Staff is great! Everyone is very kind and helpful. The roads are awful and the back of the park where we stayed was underwater. Granted it was cold and rainy and the first weekend of the season. However, waking up to my power cord being totally submerged in about 4” of standing water is a major safety issue. Please fill in low spots before making these sites available.

roads need a little work. lots of major pot holes getting back to my spot. almost impossible to walk or ride a bicycle. Bathrooms in the holler were clean, but consider some heat in there. Both hand dryers were not working, Also suggest a small table near the shower. Some shower hooks missing and one had burned out light bulb making it hard to see. Overall, we liked the campground.

It was ok, just gravel roads getting to the campground. Neighbors had a lot of dog’s barking all night and loud music playing. Staff were very friendly, park is clean.

Arrived 45 min after the office closed. Had gotten a text saying our reservation was in the outside booth. Nothing was there. No answer to phones. We just picked a spot and camped. Never saw any park employee at all.

It was just a one night passing through visit. This KOA just opened up for the season and some work on roads was still being done. This KOA Thompson / Grand River Valley has very nice sites layout areas, extra areas for recreation events and sport and dog areas. I will definitely stay again at this KOA when travelling in the area.

To be clear, this is a KOA, not a hotel. When I rate the rooms here, I refer to the sites. I have NOT stayed in their cabins. This KOA is under new ownership this year and so far it seems great. We camped here a few times last year as weekend visitors. The sites are nice, well-maintained, and reasonably private for a KOA. This year, we have returned as “permanent” campers at a dedicated site. Having camped at dozens of other places over the last several years, we did not choose this KOA as a permanent location without considerable research and discussion. The staff is immediately helpful upon arrival and keeps up a high standard of service over the entire stay. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The camp store is nicely stocked and maintained as are the amenities such as the heated pool, the swimming pond, and fishing pond. The camp site we have is nice and level enough that I was easily able to level my RV in all directions pretty quickly. We have a nice fire pit and plenty of space for my family and dogs. We are close to the nice showers and bathrooms. Though we will not likely use them often, it is nice that they are clean and available. The water, power, and sewer hookups are in good shape and I have no concerns about them. As for location, this campground seems to be pretty quiet and amongst a very wooded area. There is a small amount of gravel road leading up to the campground regardless of the direction you come in, but the road seems to be very well-maintained and has caused us no concerns so far. We like that it is isolated, but other needs are close enough if we want them. Within a few minutes, you can get to a hardware store, many food options, and other needs likely to arise when camping…especially wineries/distilleries. Lots of wineries and such are very close. Overall, this is a great KOA to visit or stay a season. I hope you and your guests are able to enjoy this area and this campground is a great place to start!

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.
