Beautiful landscaping, grounds and amenities. Staff everywhere and very friendly. Kayak Access site was great however did not match the pictures. Entry is off a concrete wall not a walk down. However we enjoyed the view it provided. It would be great if KOAs limited the number of dogs and dog size on a site. We had 3 very large dogs next to us and they barked a lot!

Landscaping is beautiful making sites feel very private. The staff are outstanding! The thick eel grass at the beach access makes that area unappealing, but KOA can't do anything about that. The pool is marvelous

Everything is great other than the sites are way too narrow and the landscaping makes it difficult and treacherous to get out of the motorhome. We have a 40 ft dp and three different spots didn't work for us. Amenities are great. Pool closes at dusk which is weird, but otherwise the poolside bar and restaurant is awesome.

Wow! We were thoroughly impressed with sugarloaf KOA. The staff went above and beyond keeping the park clean and were super friendly. The Bar was an excellent addition with high end liquor and the live music was enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to offer more/higher end wines/champagne to accompany the liquor. We can’t wait to go back!

Excellent stay for our 3rd stay. The employees are so friendly. The ladies at the front desk were so friendly! I went in several times and each time they recognized me. Bar drinks were delicious. Immaculate campground. Only downer are the bugs, they’re horrible, but we know that’s just part of camping. We’ll be back!

This KOA is outstanding! The sites are private and very clean. The pool area is like a tropical paradise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the bartender, Kim especially!

Beautiful grounds and the patio sites were great with privacy. Love the pool area and bar. It was like a resort. The people running it were friendly and helpful. All in all one of the best resort rv parks every.

We found our stay underwhelming. The facilities were extremely clean and the grounds are well maintained. The RV slip, although beautifully landscaped, was difficult to move around the RV once the slides were open. The drinks are very pricey and the food is bland, overpriced, and all cooked in an air fryer. There were no activities for the kids, not even a playground.

This is the nicest KOA I have ever stayed at. The landscaping is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. All the amenities are very clean and well maintained.

Well maintained and clean park - the trees and tropical plants do a great job of separating the sites. The staff was great and the location is excellent - close enough to Key West to visit but out in the beauty of the Keys. The Relaxing Adventure boat trip and wander around the sand bar was outstanding.

First off your staff by far is the best I have ever come across! Your property is beautiful and well kept. There is not one negative thing I can say. The only thing I did see is around your pool area it does get slippery cause of the material laid and did witness a few falls. Maybe something you should look into, to avoid any personal injuries to any of the guest or staff.

Absolutely the best KOA we have ever stayed! Grounds/sites were beautifully designed and maintained and the staff were incredibly friendly helpful and so service oriented!!!

KOA Resort "DoneRight", we tell everyone, Once you stay here no other RV Resort will exceed what they have built in Sugarloaf and, That's why we keep coming back. Very well managed from the front office to the staff overseeing the grounds. See You Next Time

Wonderful stay we rebooked for next year. Things are a little narrow so if you have a bus or large Motorcoach I recommend calling for reservations so you will for sure have a site to fit your rig.

This is the RV park to stay at when visiting the Keys. Very clean! Staff is fantastic. Has nice pool area with cafe and bar. Gives a real safe feeling. Most of the time we left the truck open. Would definitely book again the next time we visit the Keys.

It’s a great location, the bar and pool are awesome, the baths and other facilities are very clean and the staff were very nice and welcoming. The road and sites are tight and a bit difficult to maneuver a big rig towing. Also, the gravel used to pave the sights is hard on human and pet feet. The dog park is small and there are a lot of campers with dogs. Overall it’s a very nice KOA.

We loved our stay but the bushes around the camper were very over grown. We had trouble walking around the motorhome due to overgrowth. But other than that the campground is beautiful.

Foliage between sites and trees are fabulous. Amenities great. Very clean. Only issue is wishing RV outdoor lighting be required to turn off at night - such as lights around little fences or strung across site, stings of lights on awnings.

Our three week stay (Mar/Apr 2024) was awesome. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The facilities are well maintained. And, are beautiful. The individiual sites are well thought-out. The space you get is very adequate for your stay. We return for three weeks in 2025. We couldn't be happier about staynig here at Sugarloaf key.

Our stay was for 3 weeks. The campground is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The staff is constantly working to keep the park in perfect condition. The pool bar area is a nice addition with our extended stay. The pool area can be busy and occasional it can be difficult to find a poolside chair. We have rebooked for next year!

We had a very good time in the spot was absolutely gorgeous.. Our only suggestion would be to put a dog park up front by the Premier spots somewhere that has grass on it for the dogs seems to have banned the. Mutual complaint from everyone that there is no grassy area for the dogs.

The best campsite we've ever stayed at. Location outstanding. Landscaping wonderful, everything really clean. The seat in the showers are perfect for the job. Staff all friendly and efficient as all KOA staff are. Facilities outstanding. Tropical landscaped pool give perfect ambience and the lovely beach with loungers was the cherry on the cake.

This is my favorite KOA so far - the place is beautiful, pool/bar is fantastic, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure, and next time will rent a boat as well!

Absolutely hands down the best greatest stay we have had and we also are resort campground owners in Wisconsin dells. We had family and guests come stay at the hotel suite condos during our whole month stay. The amenities and staff made our stay the very best. We cannot thank everyone enough.

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Sugarloaf. It was everything we have been told and more. From check in to check out, the staff was always there to help with a smile. The grounds are amazing. There is not a bad spot, every site is clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful, live music and bar area is very nice and the store has everything you would need if something was forgotten. We met so many wonderful fellow campers and we've booked for next year.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
