Beautiful location. Everyone who works there were very friendly and helpful. Loved all the different activities. Only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the shrubbery and rocks that are too close to the campsites. No room to walk to the picnic table and my friend tripped and fell. Also it’s so extremely dark at night. Need some solar lights to light up the street some.

We loved this campground, and will be making reservations for next year. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional; we were guided to our site by a staff member in a golf cart which is always appreciated. They have a small bar next to the pool, which was very nice, and there was musical entertainment. The landscaping was very well done. The internet was good, which is important to me.

Each site is thoughtfully designed to add privacy and give you that Florida tropics feel with gorgeous landscaping. The staff are super friendly. The beach was nice/small. The only negative for this park is the lack of grass or soft surfaces for pets. No trails. We walked our dogs outside of the park on the entrance road. The dog park has artificial grass which my two hate.

We can’t wait to see you guys again. We made so many friends. Thanks to Randy, Marlo, Danielle, Eric, Jamie, Josh, Billy, Micah, Sarah, Brian and the rest of the staff. Beautifully landscaped park with gorgeous pool, bar, entertainment area. Lots of fun activities too. The sites are your private little oasis which has landscaping shrubs to isolate you. Beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay there

Great sites! There’s enough vegetation so you actually have a little bit of privacy and what is a relatively large campground. Bathrooms and showers were both extremely clean and everyone was very friendly. Do wish you could take small dogs on leashes to the pub in the outdoor area, but it is close to the pool and that was not allowed.

We enjoyed the KOA near Key West. We could bike, swim, and so many activities. The weather was fabulous. The only thing that I would recommend is a comment made to folks wanting to use the beach. The sand by the chairs is nice, but if you want to go in the bay/ocean, you will need swim shoes. completely rocky and will tear up your feet.

Paradise. Really. And everyone is SO nice!!!! Eileen’s classes are fabulous. Always. Only one tiny complaint- the pool loungers are tough on the tush! Bring a yoga mat!

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Ocean access. Fun activities at the poolhouse. Even neighbors seem to be in a great mood. It would be perfect if someone could do something about the no-see-ums.

The grounds, amenities and staff were all great! We just wish the trees/shrubs were trimmed back a little more so we could have put our awnings out fully and we could reached the hooks up better without fighting the bushes. Otherwise, everything was great!

We had a great time. Want to come back. Our only suggestion is to make it easier to potty your dogs. The coral rock is hard on them. Perhaps more astroturf places like the one near the entrance, placed around the park. The dog yard is fine but we had to put our dogs in the hot car and drive them there.

Beautiful location and great amenities! Hoping you will stock in all koa onsite stores bottled water in bpa-free (maybe also pfa-free) large plastic bottles (much safer for humans, animals and planet-eco), or biodegradable non-plastic bottles. Thanks for considering this suggestion.

I have emailed your general manager twice about issues we had during our stay at the hotel and RV site but no response … that’s unacceptable. Won’t be recommending or staying at a KOA until this is resolved and I booked the hotel through Booking . Com who also wants my review and it will not be good unless I’m responded to.

Just finished our 4th stay. Can’t say enough good things about this KOA. I’ll try: Facilities - excellent, Staff - excellent, Amenities (pool, restaurant, live entertainment, beach, bar, marina) -excellent, Location -excellent, Price - excellent (very competitive with other similar resorts in the area). We don’t consider spending the winter months anywhere else.

Staff was uniformly great. The space was to tight. The landscaping covered lava rock edges to our spot leading us to trip several times when going around the corners of our rig. The landscaping on the driver side was so thick, I had to go under my slide to hook up water and electric. The spaces are so close you are window to window in your camper

Sugarloaf Kek KOA is truly a resort. Beautiful camping sites, well maintained grounds, showers, restrooms and laundry facilities are plentiful and spotless. Not to mention the pool and jacuzzi have a nice bar and food with nightly entertainment. Needless to say that we are going to be regulars.

The park is beautiful . Pool area makes you feel like you are a plush tropical island. The staff is the best we have encountered in our many years of travel. Special thanks to Randy, Marlo, Eric, Danielle & Brian for making our stay so special. They truly make you feel like family.

Started Fulltime RVing last May. Sugarloaf KOA is the nicest campground I have experienced thus far! Great, friendly Staff, nice Pool & Hot Tub, and it is great that they have a Bar & Grill at the Pool! Highly recommend!

10/10 stay! While there was a maintenance issue with the pool, management was incredibly responsive and issued a fair refund immediately. We really appreciated the honesty and quick resolution. The resort amenities are excellent—the pub and restaurant were fantastic, and the store is very convenient. Great atmosphere and top-tier service. We will definitely be back for another visit soon!

Awesome camping, lots and location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A lot of activities and the pool area is very nice. Everything was very well upkept and clean. The only complaint I have is the laundry dryers. Be prepared to spend five dollars per load to dry your clothes because the dryers do not dry your clothes. They are in bad need to be replaced. .

This is the best KOA we’ve ever stayed in. The facility is top notch and the staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. And fun too. We’ve created great friendships over the years from staying in Sugarloaf Key KOA.

This was probably the best KOA I have ever stayed. Clean, great amenities, great employees. They always great you no matter where you are in the campground and always with a smile. Whole family came and we had two sites and a hotel room. Hotel is awesome and so are the sites. Overall fabulous experience and great location to everything!

Great place to be in paradise! Staffing and services were excellent. If you want to relax this is the place to be. Only 20 minutes from Key West. 🌴🌺🍍🍹
