The staff at Sugarloaf Key KOA is fantastic. Everyone was so courteous, friendly and helpful. The facility is in excellent condition. The park was full ... but it didn't feel that way.

Wonderful amenities: music, games, food, drink, pool, and spa. Shoutout to Jim who provided direction to a fellow camper whose truck needed repair. Jim and the staff keep thus KOA in tip-top shape.

This is by far the best place in the Keys to stay. We visited several rv resorts while down there. Absolutely will stay there again! Showers were sooo clean. Lots of activities for guests.

Nicely landscaped and fairly well laid out. Sites are tight. Our door came out into the bushes so we could get back of RV off street. Could not open our awnings as trees too close. Would suggest some landscape modification or not to put 40+feet size coaches in smaller sites. Dry clean, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool, cafe and bar area. Lots of activities. Add water aerobics.

We love Sugarloaf! We also want to take a moment to brag on April & Mike down at the marina. They are, simply put, amazing! From their friendliness & willingness to help to just being good hearted people. We always enjoy seeing them & chatting. Do whatever it takes to hold on to employees like April & Mike because they are hard to come by & are one of the reasons we keep returning. Melisa and Josh

Had a fun time clean facility - disappointed about the fishing from campground and lack there of….got one of the mangrove spots for a kayak launch woman said you could fish from there just sea grass and marshy swamp - too shallow anyway. Guess would have liked some honesty.

We weren’t real happy with our site this time. It wasn’t really the correct size. Small and zero privacy. Also… you guys have a real problem at the pool with folks going down early and putting their towels on loungers and then not showing up until hours later to use the chairs even then not always using them but still keeping anyone else from using them. Might want to Police that a little.

This is one of the most beautiful KOA’s that we have stayed at! The staff was so friendly and ran a smoothe ship.

Jim and Terri Landry were the very best! As well as the entire staff. Plus we really enjoyed “Exercise with Eileen” during our 11 week stay. We’ll be back.

This was our second year staying there and it is a very pretty and well kept campground and the staff are very friendly. The big downside is the no see um bugs! If you are sensitive to them it can make for a pretty unpleasant stay! Last year was a problem but we decided to try again and came armed with repellent and cream and spray for the bites but it is very much a nuisance.

The employees in the park are friendly and enjoyable to talk to! They were a highlight of the trip. The campsite was also very beautiful. You can tell a lot of effort was put in to make it a wonderful stay!

The grounds are beautiful and the pool is an oasis paradise! The employees are wonderful and go above and beyond in service, especially Randy at the bar, Deborah in the Cafe and Dave the Dogfather! We also took a sunset cruise with Captain Scott. He is very knowledgeable and it was great to leave from the KOA and not have to drive to Key West and find parking. Keep up the great job Sugarloaf KOA!

This KOA is definitely a resort. Beautiful location with gorgeous landscaping, private white sand beach, friendly staff, great pool/bar/recreation area, and fun social events.

Every day local teenagers were at the pool. I saw them walking home every day. Nobody is enforcing the yellow bracelet policy.

Well maintained, alot if things to do. Only drawback because of beautiful landscaping, some sites kind of tight with 40ft class A with slides out.. 3rd time there.

Great place: fantastic pool/bar/restaurant. Great bartenders. Very nice vegetation but the resort needs trimming throughout. Our site was very tight due to over growth. You can't even walk around the pool or bar without running into vegetation where the no-seeums are thriving. It was much better a few years ago when the vegetation was not so dominant. What a beautiful park with the most inviting campsites we have ever seen! Lovely landscaping helped with privacy. Every site, building and facility was immaculate. The pool, hot tub, store, restaurant, and public places to sit—whether by a fire or in a hammock—were bonuses. We had a kayak accessible site that we liked and utilized, but wish it weren’t so mucky—needs some big rocks to step

Had a wonderful time! One of the best KOA’s; Immaculately clean. Staff is friendly. Location is fairly close to Key West. Would have given 5 stars but they close the pool at 9 or 10 pm. There is no lifeguard, so I don’t understand why the pool needs to close. Last KOA we stayed at had 24 hour access to the pool and hot tub. �����‍��� But, all things considered, I would stay there again

We always love this campground. We’ve stayed here three spring breaks in a row! Family of six with kids ranging from 10 to infant, and there’s something for everyone!

This place is not for the faint of heart as far as pricing goes. It is a destination stay. You could come here and never leave the whole time you’re on vacation. With its own beach, marina, restaurant, bar and pool area. The sites are very tight to get into for a large motorhome or trailer but doable with the help of the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were very nice and helpful.

Nicely refurbished park after recent storm damage. Space is a premium so sites are a bit narrow. This might be in part due to the very nice landscaping which provides some privacy. My only gripe was when I tried to take a shower in the early morning there was no hot water. If there is an energy saving cutoff during the night park should inform folks.

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Sugarloaf. It was everything we have been told and more. From check in to check out, the staff was always there to help with a smile. The grounds are amazing. There is not a bad spot, every site is clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful, live music and bar area is very nice and the store has everything you would need if something was forgotten. We met so many wonderful fellow campers and we've booked for next year.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
