The campground is beautiful! Very well landscaped. It is immaculate! I feel like even the gravel is clean! The pool is very nice. The store had everything we needed. The bar and the food was excellent. And all the staff were super nice. We’ll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay. We utilized the marina and the pool daily. We upgraded to a beach site since there was a last minute cancelation. It was a great decision. The facility was clean and quiet and beautiful with plush landscape.

Everything looked very clean and landscaped wonderfully. They lost water while we stayed and then was a 3 day boil alert. I understand that is out of their control but that makes for a major inconvenience. The speed humps are terrible. I could see one but not 4 in in a a row to bounce the RV like crazy. I had to ask for the Florida resident discount. That should have been just a given.

This campground was very clean, had private sites, and the staff were amazing. At check-in the staff took us to our site and helped park our travel trailer. The tiki bar had really good food!!

The location is really pretty but the lot sizes are not size appropriate based on the specs entered go bigger that what you think you need especially for a back-in. The aisle are narrow, we barely fit in the spot and our slides literally pushed out the shrubs leaving us to crawl under them to dump/flush our tanks. Same issues were for (2) others that arrived around the time we did, same aisle.

We truly enjoyed everything about the campground. The people were great! The campsites were fantastic. The Marina was excellent. Everything had a place, it was clean and you could tell everyone enjoyed what they were doing. We will definitely be returning.

Spent a week there the place is beautiful . Very clean. The office and employees are wonderful The pool area is fantastic. Music. Food and a bar. We already booked for next year.

Beautiful campground, enjoyed the programming at the Cafe/Pool a lot. Landscaping was absolutely stunning. Easy drive to Key West and to Marathon for all the touristy activities.

This is a great place to stay. This staff was so friendly. Great amenities on premises. Large and private sites. Close to Key West. Good restaurants near by. This was our first visit and we loved it so much that we decided to book it again for next year. Highly recommended!

It was very tropical as usual. This was my 3rd year in a row staying with ypu guys and you all are very friendly and go out of your way to make sure your customers are well taking care off. I will be coming back. See you next year if God willing and the creek don't rise. �ϋ�

This KOA is the best one we have ever stayed at. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Grounds are immaculate. The lush greenery is beautiful and makes you feel secluded and quiet. The pool and pub has a very welcoming atmosphere. Bartenders are a lot of fun with their friendly and welcoming presence.

We had the premium beach rv spot and it was beautiful. It was so convenient to have the hotel on site where my daughter stayed with her family. All of the staff we meet were friendly and helpful. Definitely want to go back next year.

Best KOA I have stayed at over many states. I have also stayed at other resorts near the KOA Sugarloaf but none of them compared to the atmosphere you have created. The landscape efforts, details to each site (Like two sewer hook ups), manicured , and well prepared for all kinds of rigs. The pool and patio with the bar and entertainment make the trip to the Keys what it is all about.

5th stay after Irma, great fix-loved it. This year-complete reversal. Additional hotel now in full operation overwhelmed amenities on scale for RVs. Crowd in the pool. Pub understaffed. Quaint beach now too small. Fishing area dirty, attracting flies. Boat ramp traffic constant, and lining the road outside. Pristine sites falling off. Employees still wonderful. We have to find a new spot.

I booked and paid for a pull-through site, but upon arrival, I was placed in a back-in site without notice. When I called the office, they acknowledged the mistake and moved me, only to call me back later demanding an upcharge balance. They blamed it on a "system pricing error." The manager refused to resolve the issue, insisting that it was an employee who was new that made the error.

The Sugar Loaf KOA is a beautiful and clean campground. The staff was very friendly and there were alot of amenities inside the campground. This is a 5 star resort at a reasonable price.

We had a great time! We love the beach area, the pool and the pub! Beautiful place! We go every year and it was our first time getting waterfront which was wonderful! And now you also rent golf carts which is super awesome! My granddaughter’s time there and she loved it!!! Thank you

Great staff. Grounds are well manicured. Each site is private and of ample size and easy for big rigs to maneuver around. The staff and campground should be the model for all KOAs.

Stayed for 17 days in June 2026. Had not been to this campground since 2008 so was incredible to see the remodel with all the new facilities. Top notch for a campground and the staff was very helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

This is probably one of the best KOA's we have ever stayed at. Also it is so close to the beaches and the things to see. And the areas key lime pie is to die for.

It was a wonderful stay, from check in to departure day we had a great time. We did wish the site was a tad wider but we explored some of the wider ones for when we book our next stay. Music bingo was fun, the pool area was just perfection after a day of exploring and the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings were just the icing on top of the cake. Thank You Sugarloaf KOA!!

We loved our 1st visit here with the RV. The kayak launch site was a plus which we took advantage of and kayaked across the waterway to find mangrove tunnels. My daughter stayed in the hotel which very nice and a huge plus for family that do not have an RV. We had no issues with mosquitoes which was nice. We would highly recommend and visit again.

We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed every minute! The private beach with toys for the kids was a huge win for our family. The privacy between sites was so wonderful and really gave a tropical feel to our whole vacation. We will be coming back!

The resort is very clean. The landscaping is beautiful. The cafe pub has great drinks and food. They have live music by the pool some days They have a marina and ramp which is a plus for anyone coming in with a boat.

This is a beautiful campground and resort. It features a gorgeous pool area nestled in palm trees, and an open-air pub with live music. I went down on the 4th of July to see the Glenn Harmon band play at the pub and had an awesome time!
