We love this place!! 20 minutes from Key Erst. Amenities are wonderful!! It is expensive but we continue to return. I would love the hotels to fill up more so the RV rates don’t continue to rise �

Our stay was a once in a lifetime experience. We took a sea plane to Dry Tortugas for a day trip, snorkeled parks nearby and kayaked the mangroves. After day tripping the campground provided even more fun. With onsite boats to rent and beautiful pool and beach. Our favorite activity was Monday night Music Bingo. We played and danced the night away. Book now, you will be so happy to did.

Love this KOA campground. The best Koa I have ever stayed at. The sites are level and private with all of the shrubbery . Location to key west is perfect. Already booked my stay for 2026

Very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the stay here. Lots to do on site and close to Key West for nightlife. They have events and live music on the weekends and some days during the week so their is always something to do. The food at the pub is good and convenient. The marina is awesome as well.

This is a resort not just a camp! Great facilities pool entertainment during evenings nice shady sites. Most important only 35 min drive to key west and other great restaurants and activities in the area!

No hot water in one of the showers by the pool. None of the toilets flushed correctly in the men's rooms, the hot tub was broken. This was our third year in a row staying there, although we enjoyed our stay we felt as though the property wasn't being as well taken care of as it has been in the past. Landscaping seem to be neglected and a little overgrown.

Only reason not 5 or 10 the site we where in715 cant put awnings out because of trees to close to rv can’t walk safely around your unit because of landscaping rocks the could easily redo areas where rv doors open up to be able to safely walk these areas because of the landscaping boarder rocks

Staff is wonderful. Maintenance on the pool and the hot tub is ridiculous. I very much needed both the pool and the hot tub functional as I was recovering from surgery. That being down was disappointing for me. I am coming back next year and would love to see properly maintained equipment and more heat in the hot tub. Thanks

This was definitely the best KOA my wife and I have stayed at. We’ve been to many over the past few years, from Niagara Falls, Banger Maine, to San Diego and everywhere in between. Sugarloaf Key KOA is by far the best KOA in my opinion.

Loved it here. Staff was great, facilities are very clean. While spots are a little tight, the privacy plantings are effective and provide a pleasant touch. And love the pool/bar area.

Great. We were only able to get 2 nights ( could have stayed longer) but they were great. Park is so well maintained, staff very friendly and location for us was perfect!

The stay was excellent other than the weather. We are booked for December 2025 but have some concerns. The cost of the motor home site has increased and it is substantially higher than other locations with 150 miles. The cost of the site is almost twice as expensive as other sites. The hotel rooms are more outrageous. Over $500 per night is worse thnt Maui, and other warm locations. I

I stayed on 404. Lot was extremely tight and wildly overgrown. They had to trim a palm tree in order for me to open my door. I had to hunt around for my sewer connection under the plant growth. I couldn't open my awning due to a palm tree in the way. My 38' coach was way too big for that site. Amenities in the resort were great and location as well so overall we had a great time. I would go back.

Like every RV park in the Keys, the sites are small, the roadways narrow, hard to get parked and hard to hookup and get out of. And of course, it's very expensive. Laundry room was nice, didn't use the pool or restrooms. My favorite though is "Happy Hour" at the pub, where during happy hour you get $1 off a $16 cocktail, needless to say, nobody was in there. Very clean park friendly people sites are perfectly spaced for privacy but pricing is out of control for not just this Koa but all camp spots in Keys they should all be ashamed you can stay in a top notch resort all inclusive for same or less than we pay

We stayed 4 nights. The campground is very well manicured. All of the foliage looks awesome and provides a homey atmosphere at the sites and littles paths that let you walk all over the campground. The pool area is awesome with lots of seating. There is also a bar at the pool. There is bocce ball and corn hole set up to play. There’s a cafe on property which is awesome. We will de Come b

We stayed 2 nights and spent a day exploring Key West. Weather was cool so didn’t use the pool facilities but it looked beautiful. Very nice bar/restaurant with activities and entertainment. Beautiful sites right near the water. All the amenities you should need and all very clean and in excellent condition. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful grounds - beautiful pool area - fun things planned for entertainment! Beware of the no see ums they leave nasty bites like mosquitoes so look up the essential oils to use to ward them off ! Other than those pesty pest the stay was wonderful!

Not a KOA that we are used to staying at. Workers were very nice, it was very well maintained...BUT this is not a camping experience that is pleasing to me. This is a resort with expensive everything! We are used to state parks and county parks and will look harder to stay in one near key west in the future.

We spent 7 nights in January at Sugarloaf for our first ever stay. This is the cleanest campground / resort we have ever visited. Pros: many activities scheduled - music guests - pool and hot tub enclosed by flora/fauna to make it feel secluded - niches within for hammocks and games - dog park very clean and maintained - well stocked store - cafe - bar. Very clean and well ran property. The suite we had was very nice and accommodating. Prices were not too bad. Nice pool and drinks area. Would recommend this place. And would stay again. Close to key west. All in all pretty great.
