Price gouging! Very nice place for small RVs that could be landscape to maximize room for patrons! Was told to park trailer on street off property and did so then went back and didn’t except that told to park in boat trailer parking! When loading Motorcycle back on trailer landscape rocks in the way caused motorcycle to crash and injured me! Did not report at time but Mexican Landscape worker he

One of the best campgrounds I’ve ever visited ! Great staff, professional, manny amenities including a bar and restaurant, beautiful tropical pool, clean restrooms , all paver or stone sites with no dirt or mud on rainy days ! Definitely on the high end $ but everything is in the keys and in this case you get what you pay for . Highly recommend

The staff here are amazing and genuinely work to make your stay the best ever. My husband is disabled and we really needed a handicap rv spot but we didn't have one for the entire length of our stay. The staff (all of them in the office) worked diligently to help us get to a handicap spot and not have to move every day. They were tireless and eager to help. They made our stay exceptional

The staff is great, especially Chad, April, Jim and Terri. Landscaping is overgrown; could not walk around my unit without stepping on rocks, walking into the landscaping or brushing against shrubbery. Layout of sites may be esthetically pleasing but not conducive to today's RV's. Vehicles parked just off the macadam make getting into and out of spaces difficult to impossible. Too pricey.

Wonderful place! Sites are beautifully landscaped. Onsite Pub very convenient and had great music. Close enough to drive to Key West, but none of the crazy chickens! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Liked them sending texts to inform us of events. Pool beautiful, but the music is a little too loud. Beach and great plus, as so many Resorts do not have any. Coming back in 2025!

Check-in was quick. Escorted to our site. The side for connecting the utilities was tight but manageable. Parking surface was a crushed material. Good privacy with a very nice hardscape patio that included chairs, a picnic table and fire ring. Our site was not especially quiet, being adjacent to the clubhouse patio, but quiet hours were enforced every evening. Overall, a great place to stay!

Beautiful resort. Staff are super helpful and friendly and I would give them 10 stars out of 10. Music from the pool area plays daily from 8am to 10pm and can be heard a few rows over into campground on each side of pool. This disturbed the peaceful camping environment we enjoy at other campgrounds. Also bath house showers were not great-very tight space,not much hot water and low water pressure

Great amenities and very clean. Would love a playground for kiddos though. A huge complaint is that you’re allowing outside people to come in to events like Trivia Night or bands and your guests can’t even get a seat or table because those people have taken them first. They bring their own drinks and food and don’t even pay to be there! Your bartenders are the BEST and it’s a shame that’

My husband and I very much needed a get away. Our site #1007 was PERFECT! Everyone that we ran into that worked there was super awesome. The whole resort was superb!

Love everything about this place. Wonderfully landscaped sites, amazing laundry facilities, helpful staff, Beautiful pool & pub area, the ability to book tours and be picked up onsite. Staff works hard everything is clean and well cared for.

This was our third trip to Sugarloaf KOA. Each stay a bit longer. Beautiful pool area. Enjoyed the music live & otherwise. Sites a bit tight but staff helpful upon arrival.

The only thing is that the tent sites were not for tents only as little motorhomes and such were in them! I think that if it is a tent site it should be only for tents!!! thank you!!!

We stayed at Surgarloaf 9 years ago and enjoyed it. We had heard about the hurricane damaging the property and it closing to rebuild but had no idea how amazing the rebuild was making the campground into more of a resort. We can't wait to return and have booked for a month next January! The staff was as amazing as the resort and everyone was so friendly! See you again soon!

Campground is well maintained with improvements being made. Everything was in excellent shape with lots of activities. We stayed for three nights and found traveling to Key West an easy drive. Rates are higher than other KOAs but consistent with other private campgrounds in the keys.

Professional staff, amenities, and facilities are very clean/brand new. We had a great experience and will return again. Best RV park I've attended and should not be a question to book.

We stayed in an rv site near the pool. Very enjoyable. Spent several days by the pool. The evenings by the bar were fun.

My husband and I just got back from our stay at Sugarloaf. It was everything we have been told and more. From check in to check out, the staff was always there to help with a smile. The grounds are amazing. There is not a bad spot, every site is clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful, live music and bar area is very nice and the store has everything you would need if something was forgotten. We met so many wonderful fellow campers and we've booked for next year.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!
